Works for 1-2 Time Machine Back-ups then the drive fails
Never had any issues with my x6 or x8 drives. However I am now on my 3rd or 4th replacement x9 SSD. The latest replacement failed within 2 uses and has literally only sat on my desk. Disappointed.

Exceeded my expectations
This drive is used to backup a PC and a couple of laptops. All the backups run quicker than they do with an equivalent drive from another provider, so I very pleased with it and would certainly get another if I had a need in the future.

I use this for extra storage and for backups. I wanted the most space for the money so opted for the 4 Tb. I had no idea it would be smaller than a credit card! Super happy to have been able to purchase during black Friday sale!! Now even more space per dollar! Super easy online purchasing with Crucial as well!!

Tinyrilliant performance if you can get it at a reduced pric
This is a minute external drive with great transfer speeds. It doesn't get too warm and formats very quickly for use with an Apple Mac. I use it with my desktop Mac Studio and my only gripe is the cable is too small so it hangs off to one side and can't be positioned where I'd like it to be.

Every movie, video and photo in a matchbox size drive.
The drives are so conveniently small I can carry them anywhere, anytime in my front shirt pocket. I have every movie, photo and video taken by my father (dating from the 1930s) and me on two drives.

So far I love my Crucial X9 Pro (4tb) model. It is fast and in the future I will most definitely buy also an NVME from this company and probably I will upgrade my RAM in the PC. So all in all happy and I would recommend
