I am not sure about the product because although I called about slow performance, then recommended to upgrade my memory, I initially purchased the computer set-up with Windows the recommended memory it had no windows installed and there was no backup of current applications and past documents. When Dell sent someone to install, I was told that he would install the card, and then make sure that it was working correctly. When the technician installed the card said that he was unable to work on the software.

No-hassle install
Installed easily into my Dell XPS 8930. And it worked immediately. I must admit I was surprised at how small these things are. (For some reason, I assumed they were similar in size to an HDD. But it's much close to to an SD card!).
Also, I probably could have gotten one cheaper elsewhere, but I wanted it to just plug right into my Dell computer and not have to hassle with adapters.
