Perfect M.2 ssd drive for Vostro 5510 Notebook
I bought a Vostro notebook because it offered a second slot for a hard drive. With this additional drive I now doubled my storage. This was an easy 5 minute installation. Needed to format the drive for it to show up in Windows 11.

First time I had a bad experience with Dell
It has been a disaster! The man that came to put the hard drive in was horrible. Now my laptop is SO SLOW it is difficult to use. There is a C drive and no D drive. I am confused. I am waiting for a call from a Dell tech today to HOPEFULLY correct this. It is used for my small business and I have been not able to work for a week now.

Wrong Part
This product was recommended to me by the Dell website, but it did not fit my Dell Precision 3431 computer, so I returned it for a full refund. If you are looking for a replacement of any part of your Dell computer, then you should contact a Dell sales rep and ignore the Dell website. I chatted with a sales rep, and I did order and install the correct replacement SSD; and it is working fine.

Returned and purchased a Crucial SSD
Went off the dell websites recommendation to upgrade the SSD in my G7 15 7590. Received SSD and computer wouldn't even recognize it. Complete waste and returning it. I went and purchased a 1tb Crucial for almost half the price and the computer recognized it right away and was able to reinstall the OS with no problems.

Bad replacement
The part was different than the original with the original having two soldered leads on top. Directions that came with the part AND the technical manual did not match the actual layout of the device. AND the part failed after a mere 18 months.

It worked!

Love this SSD
Upgraded an older laptop with this SSD and has made a world of difference. Much faster, more quiet than the spinning HDD, and was a breeze to install and upgrade Windows (as the HDD had failed). Quite please with how this whole process went. I would recommend this SSD should you ever need one.

Very overpriced
Oem, but hugly overpriced. Could have purchased the SAME PRODUCT, without the Dell sticker on it for 25% of what i was charged from DELL. Should have gone with the OEM
