Perfect for what I needed. It is powerful enough to install rack mounted systems and the clutch is gentle enough to speed through upgrading of hundreds of NUC PCs without stripping threads. Make sure you also purchase an assortment of screwdriver bits.

Ease of use for senior with MS
I LOVE this drill/screw driver! I use it all of the time. I'm a 71 yr old woman with MS who enjoys projects of all sorts. The small size, easy to use and light weight keeps me going. I repaired cabinets yesterday and drilled holes in garden pots today. Next week I'm working on fixing the height of a table and b

It does what I bought it for!
I’ve had this for about screw gun for about a year. I use it just about everyday as a biomedical technician. I bought this mostly because of the clutch feature, and it works great! Battery stays charged for a good while.

I’m an appliance repair technician, and this drill is the absolute best for my line of work. I really love the adjustable clutch. In the lower settings i never have to worry about stripping screws. But i have enough power on the high end for almost any job i face. Very lightweight. Incredibly compact. Super com

If you are looking for a small drill that has plenty of power this is the drill for you. Way to go Dewalt.

Hex only bits is limiting especially drill bits, but if it had an adjustable chuck head it would not be as compact. I use it mostly for tight spaces on sheetmetal work and between joists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from dcf610s2 this is an excellent tool, I purchased this for my wife, she is not a fan of my 18 volt (old school) DeWalt drivers and was afraid that the 12 volt would not have enough power. I assured her that she would be happy with the tool. The power to weight ratio was surprising to both her and I. I use the drill to access places my full size won't fit. I would purchase a newer lith battery driver but my old school driver just will not die. Thanks DeWalt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool I build furniture and cabinets. I have dozens of power tools and over a dozen dewalt tools. I use many of the 18v tools and they are great. Bought the 12v lithium ion for some of the lighter weight applications around the shop. Fell in love with this tool. Very ergonomic in your hand and I find it can handle much more than I thought in terms of power. Only downside is the lack of a hard side case like all my other tools. Makes it difficult to store in the shop and still be handy when needed and more difficult to take out on a job site.

Occasionally I borrow what i need from him and i was also impressed with their durability and their power. I will only purchase DeWalt tools as a result of my experience using them. They are the best by far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Dewalt for Me and others I got this for Christmas and it has easily replaced my old B&D driver, a cordless mini drill and a larger drill. Its just a great tool. I had issues with batteries and chargers but this one lasts a LOOONG time on a single charge. I suggest this unit with the torque setting vs the standard driver that Dewalt has. Its Just the best that I have seen a long time. Dont stop making this unit. I am an electrician and computer installer by trade.

Has a great light which shines ON the object not under it. Love this drill. I use it more than any other tool I own. Its light yet strong.
