Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s smaller, lighter and more features packed. I use this everyday at work. And I suffer from white gut butt. So big heavy tools make my pants fall down. This meter does every thing I need and more. Definitely recommend for professionals

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slightly disappointed Heads up, this is going to be a long read. For background, I do electrical controls for a living, primarily HVAC/temperature controls. We use a lot of thermistors, current transducers, PLC's, pressure transducers, and other devices to control air handlers, pumps, and fans. I've owned this meter about six months. I bought it to replace the Fluke 322 in my tool bag for work. The 322 has been great for the roughly seven years I've owned it, but it doesn't read resistance high enough to test 10k thermistors, so I always carried a second meter in my pickup specifically for reading resistance. I thought a 325 would bring me down to a single meter, since it does everything my 322 does with the addition of up to 40k ohm resistance capability (temperature readings are also a perk, but not part of why I decided on this model. The 325 works as expected for measuring voltage, resistance, frequency, direct current, and sometimes alternating current (more on that to follow). I cannot confirm the temperature readings, since I've never found two temp sensors that perfectly agreed with one another, but I do not trust this meter as much as the Fieldpiece and Amprobe in my pickup, mostly because of how cheesy the thermistor lead looks. I have one major gripe and several minor gripes about this meter. The minors are annoying but livable. I'll start with those: 1) The TL75 leads are unreasonably stiff at room temperature. The leads that came on my 322 and those that I've used on other brand meters are reasonably flexible out of the box and get better with age. Six months later, and I still have to uncoil these from around the meter. 2) The case is too small if you store the leads in it with the meter, and don't even think about leaving the leads connected if you want to zip the case! 3) The knob could be a little tighter. It often gets turned on by wrapping the leads around it (see point 1). The major issue I have with this meter is when it comes to alternating current. I quickly ran into discrepancies between current transducers' and this meter's readings when checking out variable frequency drives. The numbers were far off enough that I replaced current transducers thinking they were faulty, and even returned my first 325 to buy one straight from fluke, thinking I had a faulty/knockoff product. It took a few occurrences before I contacted Fluke regarding the issue. As it turned out, "True RMS" measurements will not align with conventional measurements when it comes to nonlinear loads, such as VFD outputs. True RMS also won't agree with motor nameplates. I was basically told that this meter is "too" accurate, so its readings aren't usable, which doesn't make much sense. I equate it to people who use "upper-level" words at the risk of hindering communication with 90% of people; you're somehow superior (cool), but you've missed the goal of verbal language, which is to communicate with other people. I would have preferred a meter that measures as my 322 does but with the addition of higher resistance. I thought this would be the ticket, but I still carry two meters. If you never encounter nonlinear loads, this meter will be awesome for you! For me, it hasn't lived up to the price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent hardware, not so excellent software. The hardware is beyond spot on. Will never use anything else. Fluke is the only brand of test equipment I trust my life with. I have no less than 10 Fluke meters... The Fluke Connect service? Not so much. It hasn't worked right in months (spotty on the phone and tablet (works for a while, then freezes up and refuses to sync for days at a time). The web service hasn't worked properly since last year (loads 1 time in 20). I will not be renewing my subscription, as for what I spent on that subscription, I could by another meter. It's a great idea that got ruined on some level. (now, the ability to read a meter wirelessly? Where has THAT been all my life?) Rework the software side of FC, and you've got yourself a SERIOUS winner. (4 stars only because of the FC service mess) If you're after just hardware, you can't go wrong. If you're after the FC service? I can't recommend it at this point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Min/Max has no average feature The meter is everything it is advertised to be. One point to be aware of is that min/max is more limited on this meter than many other Fluke products. Many of their meters have a min/max/average feature. This meter only stores min and max, not average. Other than that, it seems like a well built meter with a solid feature set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best bang for the buck I do the HVAC work for my company and used this meter. For my company-approved side jobs, the first thing I tooled up with was this meter. All the bells and whistles: =400 A AC, 600V AC plus D.C. And ohmmeter. The operating temp metering a plus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for HVAC service Ive had a 324 for 2 or 3 years and it is a great bag meter. It is a great price point for an everyday meter. Pros- simple, reads quickly & compact size Cons- none because it lives up to it's specs, but if i lost this one i would probably upgrade to the 325 for the higher range of resistance. I also wish the dcv had a 100th digit (resolution reads to the 10th. However, i also have a 177 when i need precise dcv and a higher resistance range. I have several coworkers that have bought this meter because of its value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent HVAC clamp meter I bought the Fluke 325 while still in HVAC school, and use it daily in the field at my job now. All the functions of the meter are useful on my job without a lot of extra frilly stuff id never use. I worked as a electronics repair technician before going into HVAC, and I've always used Fluke meters. The Fluke 325 is a first class tool

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meter is simple and Reliable I bought this Fluke-325 clamp meter recently at my new company due to my satisfaction with the one I had at a previous employer. It's easy to carry with my computer when I go to customer sites and always reliable for the needs of a controls engineer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great meter for everyday use I bought this meter over a year ago and it has been great. I mostly use it for automotive diagnosis. It is great for chasing issues related to excess current draw. It's also great around the house. You can't beat it for the price. My only complaint is that it defaults to AC mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Indispensable for maintenance and RV work. This is a great meter that comes with all the necessary functions needed for general industrial maintenance and especially the combined AC/DC, generator and solar-PV systems in RVs. Very nice to carry one meter that makes life easier and work more expedient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for the money I purchased this amp clamp a few yeas back and its been a great little clamp. It is fast enough to read the changing amps and good price point. It works well as a back up meter or a secondary meter when I need one. I hope to get one with a flex clamp but for now this one still does the job I need it to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Quality and Support I have this meter(out of warranty. The battery terminals lost its spring effect making the contacts loose. On requesting the service center for replacement / repair service, they asked me to purchase a new meter for they have no spares and do not repair this meter any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 325 True RMS Clamp Meter Excellent meter! I bought the first one through Amazon. It was a cheap Chinese knock-off which I returned. Went to Fluke and bought the real thing! No regrets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very precise, good quality, too little fleatures. I work with high power AC and DC and need a clamp meter i can trust, this one is, it is very precise, the DC A measure is excellent, as to be expected from fluke of course, but the clamp functionality is very basic, no in-rush current, hold function doesn't work like the 97 series do, no power factor measure, no diode measure capability (Basic! come on!) and no THD measure, the Hz measure is awesome because it works with current and voltage, my other clamp meters only measure Hz with voltage, neat feature fluke!, the clamp is tiny and very confortable to use, display is not as good as, let's say the 117 meter, backlight is too dim, i usually work in places with low light and it is an issue for me, overall, i like it, and recommended it, but you should at the very least, add DIODE, in-rush current, and THD measure please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Meter, The Test Leads Suck in Cold Weather I have just purchased a Fluke 325 Clame Meter and I love the meter so far but the test leads that come with this meter DO NOT LIKE THE COLD WEATHER! I have purchase a number of meters over the last 30 years and these leads have to be the worst that have shipped with a new meter ever. These leads are as user friendly as trying to drag as wild cat through an antique store by it’s tail (I happen to love cats by the way and would much rathr drags the Fluke purchasing rep by his or her tail rather than a cat. This is really too bad considering the price that Fluke charges for their test equipment compared to other vendors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than my previous one i had a UEI Multimeter prior to this (pretty much the same functions, but after years of use was beginning to glitch on certain settings). got this model in response to the need to have a very functional multimeter, and i am confident that it will surpass the predecessor. the labels are fairly straightforward, and the automatic scale change is vital when measuring different ohm ranges. i also needed the clamp-on ammeter so i could leave the device on the wire whilst checking other numbers.
