For some reason, the yellow and blue cyan cartridges last WAY longer than the magenta cartridge does. If you print in color a lot, you blow through the ink really fast. That being said, the colors come out looking great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 564 Ink cartridges This ink cartridge as well as all the others that work with the HP Photosmart Prem Web C309 n-s printer are too small and do not last anywhere near as long as my old HP Photosmart C6100 printer that I had/have from years ago. IF I'd had any idea of the ink hog it is, even in draft mode, I'd have never purchased it. The cartridges are more expensive, smaller, and do not go nearly far enough, even using just the larger black for draft printing.Shipping is fine, printing is fine, but ink usage is too high and cartridges are too small, and far to expensive. It is less expensive to send them out for printing but that means I cannot do what I want for scrapbooking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Problem with Cyan We have just gone through three cyan ink cartridge replacements. These were from three separate orders. The other colors and black have all been fine. Each cyan has lasted less than two weeks before being used up, ruining many color copies. The last order, two of each of the colors, was a bit unusual in that the cyan did not arrive with the others, but was mailed to us separately. This may be a clue that HPis having a problem with its cyan cartridges.

I do wish that they were a little more water proof / resistant, so they wouldn't run or smear if a drop or 2 of water would fall on the printed matter. I use the 88, 02 and 564 inks. I have also been quite satisfied with ease of ordering on line and the prompt delivery.

Colors failed to print and/or error came up that cartridge was missing. When I got one cartridge to work the printer would say another was missing after it had already accepted it. This happened with all four cartridges that I purchased. .

Printer uses it with the yellow ink to create stunning shades of green. Printer also uses it with the magenta ink to create awesome shades of purple. Produces handsome writing and fabulous pictures. So glad I use HP 564XL Cyan ink cartridges!

I wish there was a way to print using only black. I have replaced the color cartridges several times and still using the same black cartridge.

The colors on my pages which uses a blend of all the colors, is sharp and clear all the time, even when almost empty. HP is a great company that makes great printers and the ink cartridges for those printers.

They do fit in the small slots, although it took two tries to get mine seated properly. Another comment--next day delivery although impressive is not always crucial. I'd like an option for lower price with slower delivery. Pleasant surprise--the recycling envelopes hold several cartridges, not just one, and they mail back postage free. It says they will be reduced to raw materials. However it does say not to send back refilled/remanufactured cartridges, and I'm not sure how to recognize those at this point. I've bought them in the past and they've always been fine and lower priced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The cartridges have a short usage life. I feel like I'm constantly changing ink cartridges. Even though they produce a great image, I feel it's rather costly to use them. I think an alternative hardware insert with tubes to a 4-oz ink reservoir should be considered!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This ink always performs to expetations I have tried replacement inks, fill your own, refilled cartridges and have found none perform as well as HP inks. I had one supposedly aftermarket ink that when I printed a stack of pictures the ink would not dry fast enough and they all stuck together. HP inks last longer, dry faster, provide richer color than competitors or after market inks. I strongly recommend using HP inks. The price for the XL cartridges is a bargain.

When i purchased the HP 6510 All in One Photosmart printer in Feb 2012 I was unhappy that the 564 inks I had on hand from my earlier failed HP printer would not work in the 6510. After some confusion & effort these were finally exchanged for newer 564 cartriges with inks showing a v1 notation in the manufacture site/use date stamp. Except for this v1 notation these is no cutomer information that distinguishes these products ! Earlier this month I purchsed some 564 inks and the inks received from the HP store do not carry the v1 notation, but at least one I had to try to use actually worked ! As a customer looking at a package of 564 ink how do I know if it will work in my 6510 Photosmart All in One ?? What use-by-date assures me that v1 isn't needed ? Thanks, joe

Just wish it came along with the other two colors in one box rather than in a separate box. It would cost HP less in packaging and shipping and therefore, should lower the price for consumers.

I am 82 years old, on Social Security, and I cannot afford a new printer. I have been buying all my ink cartridges from you, as you can see. I am pleased with this one. However, I got an offer yesterday for the 564XL original Black, and it was $40! I bought one in January (order #H327184342) for $26.49! Why the big difference? Please respond. I have tried reaching you, but I haven't been able to reach you to ask you this! Thank you!

My order did not include the envelope which is the main reason I ordered directly from HP. Very disappointed!

Shipped from the same state I live in. You can’t get anyone on the phone or online chatty find out status. The worst!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor timing Cost Me Some Bucks Funny thing, I ordered a new Black 564XL cartridge and, one day after inserting it, the printer suffered a major paper jam. I couldn't fix it, so I bought another HP printer. I'm out the cost of the new ink, but life happens. I now have four brand-new 564XL cartridges (Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow) and don't know what to do with them.
