Not sure of this one yet as I have not loaded this in the printer. But like I say usually the toner is very good. I waited 30 days hoping my cartridge would arrive. No luck. I then called HP Customer Service and explained the events that had occurred. They immediately researched my order and determined that it was definitely lost and I needed a replacement. They then put a next day order in the system to replace my missing order. I received the order and I am a very happy customer. Thank you.

The cost has increased over the years with no discounts offered and it appears that the ink does not last as long as it has in the past. When I look at the colored copy I printed the color is very faded. I checked the supply and the printer shows that a quarter remains. I have taken the cartridge out and shook it but it doesn't make a difference. AT that time I have to replace the cartridge with the new one I have on hand. It's becoming very costly because I have to order cartridges 2 twice a year. I'm very disappointed as this product and printer has only been #1 for years.

My only caveat, has been the demise of the inks for my printer. It has been frustrating beyond words that my printer is now extinct! The ink for it now has to be special ordered. I was able to print 38 pages of colored Christmas cards before the image streaking began and low ink message popped up on the printer. I'm not sure what they are printing to get "up to 415 pages" but it is definitely not colored images on this model printer!

I recently tried to load the new cartridge, but I continually get the same error message, “Cartridge problem: remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed.” I have tried removing and reinstalling it many times. Can you please help with troubleshooting? I can reinstall another new cartridge without issue. The serial number of the defunct cartridge is 3718522074077408.

After ordering, receiving, and installing new cartridges, my printer went back to giving the same high quality prints as before. Shipping was fast and reasonable. Finally on the fourth day I contacted a real person on a chat line to resolve my issue. Buyers have Patience! Managers use your automated phone system and see what you think. Just saying!

When I installed it originally I did not get the warning and it was printing properly. This is the first time that I had any problems with HP 62 Cartridges. Will you please advise me on this problem. I reinstalled a new HP 62 Tri Color cartridge and it is doing well.

I do not think of a printer as a disposable item but this is my oppinon of the HP business model. When my ink runs out this time I am probably going to buy a Brother.

After spending too much time with HP technos and two long distance phone calls it was finally replaced freely. Not only is selection made easy, but there are good price alerts from time to time. I called and orderd two more cartridgs. They were shipped overnight and I was able to finish printing my e-book Service was professional and delivery was recived the next dday! It started printing a couple pages tonite; then the next page was only printed on one side and the 3rd page was blank. Have never had one go bad this quickly and I have not printed that much with it.

For my work I print many pages, so I always have to have at least one backup on hand if not more. The performance of the ink (and printer) are great though.

I did EVERYTHING to try to fix it ,only didn't replace the cartridges, because the 3 color showed 1/2 full, and the black showed 1/3 full on my Ink levels. Finally, I replaced them, and it is now working, but it cost me a lot of money. I LOVE my Printer, but the False reading was not good.

But in attempting to "Redeem Your Rewards" I have been unsuccessful the last 3 or 4 orders. Perhaps part of the problem is because I was on "Instant Ink Program" but I had many problems with is. Again part of the problem may be because of my age at 86 years old, I an not up on new technology. I have tried on numerous times to rectify this situation without success. But I am an HP customer having the last four printers being HP's, so still consider myself to be a loyal HP customer. But I would like to be able to receive my rewards for being such a loyal customer. I just need help to get those rewards.

I am very happy with the performance of the ink cartridges for my HP Envy 7645 printer. The cost for these cartridges was $70.35 which I paid via my Citibank card. However, shortly after receiving my cartridges, I received another set of cartridges (Tri-color) and B&W. Not sure why these were sent. So it seems I owe you for these cartridges. I thought buying directly from HP would positively affect my cost. It did not; this is the most I’ve ever paid. So the quality; the only thing I’ve noticed is that after two 5x7 pictures, the other three were no where near as clear and sharp. They were grainy looking. This was for a presentation at a school so you can imagine my reluctance to use the grainy pictures yet I had to show them.

I am not a fan of one cartridge containing all colors, nor am I impressed with how quickly I run through a color cartridge. Simply put, I spend more for ink than I used to. There was an error message to insert a new cartridge. They are not cheap and I expect a longer life from them. The second one is still working. I make a mistake every once in a while and buy from another company that says it's HP compatible. WRONG! They do not work on my printer. This never happened before and since I usually renew my order before needed I was able to replace it with a new one and continue printing. I was told by a rep that these ink cartridges would be good for a long time. They have always worked before, but this time when I installed them there was a problem and the printer wouldn't accept them. I'm now told, they're only good for 30 days. I will no longer order cartridges until I need them.

I will never again try an off-brand or refill. Too many times I've experienced leaks, dried ink and clogged heads with the cheaper alternatives. It's a LOT better, in my humble opinion, to pay the extra few dollars to get the OEM HP brand ink cartridge. I've never had any negative issues with one. I hope my tries and tests keep you from going through the same thing. Trust me - it's just not worth it.

I have been purchasing HP products for a very long time and decided to try this XL one to see if it actually does last longer since ink is getting so expensive. This is a major disappointment given that the advertisements for this cartridge state that the cartridge should be good for printing over 400 pages.

I only print a few pages most days and these cartridges last for months. Ordering them online and avoiding HP's automatic billing supply system is a pain. HP should make it much easier for customers to order on am as needed basis without participating in some program. Next time I will look for another source.

First of all the delivery was late; second when installed the printer repeatedly called for the cartridge to be removed and reinserted; that didn’t work. I put the old empty color cartridge back in and printed in Black only, until I could get a working cartridge from Office Depot. I will not use HP directly again.

This printer is several years old and it's still working just fine after many, many ink cartridges. I like HP cartridges and I never use generic ink in recycling cartridges.

I have an Envy 7640 printer that worked just fine on windows 7, windows 10 I have nothing but problems. I have to reinstall the printer software almost every time I use it or it won't print out, it keeps dropping the connection. I'm just about ready to go to Linux.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OEM = Reliability After several years of believing I could save dollars buying refurbished cartridges and/or HP knockoffs for my printer, I only found recurring disappointment. I could never monitor ink levels from the printer, as the cartridges did not interface cleanly... and I only ever enjoyed a fraction of the yield advertised (ink left unused when printer sensed empty). Going back to OEM, yes, the cost of a new cartridge is higher ==> but you get to consume the entire supply, and can better predict runout via monitoring on the printer. To me, the extra reliability of using OEM cartridges clearlly supersedes any perceived savings in out-of-pocket cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 62XL vs 62 I am afraid the 62xl seems to have about the same amount of ink as the plain 62 in both the black and the color. Bought HP ENVY 5660 and it uses the 62 ink. My last printer used 74xl or 75xl ink and I definitely had a lot more ink than the plain 74 or 75. The xl cartridges were bigger. The 62 & 62xl are exactly the same size. Sorry I bought this printer.

After placing this cartridge in my HP Envy printer I got just five (5) color sheets from the cartridge. Because I had to finish a project I had to go to Bestbuy to buy a replacement. To say the least this does not make me a satisfied customer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unfortunate Cartridge I recently purchased the HP 62XL High Yield Tri-Color Original Cartridge because I was going to be printing out our Christmas letters and needed more ink than usual. Unfortunately, after printing out only about 10 letters, the letters starting printing out with wide streaks. I stopped the print job and the printer said there was an error with the cartridge. I had to go to the store to buy another ink cartridge. I was disappointed because I paid so much more than usual for the XL product and it was faulty. I usually buy the XL black ink with the regular color ink combo. I have not had problems with that, so I think I may go back to that for future purchases.

I was not aware that the printer wouldn't work with just the black cartridge. It was really great to place the order online and then receive it the next day so I could complete a project. The size of the regular and XL cartridges is the same. But a regular cartridge only has about 1/3 of the ink. It's almost cheaper to buy a new printer than to buy replacement cartridges.

I always buy enough to have enough on hand until their next ink sale. Buying one XL ink cartridge is comparable to buying three cartridges for the price of just two. When on sale, I usually receive an additional 30% off the price of the second cartridge. My HP printer is over seven years old, and neither it nor any of the cartridges have ever failed in any way. Also, shipping is free and my order arrived the next business day.

Yet my "genuine" HP cartridges did not have these and customer service's reply to me was, "they should be genuine". I paid up for this ink and expected better, I will buy future ink on Ebay as I had before for a lot less. HP did offer to send labeled packaged ink, but, I would have to send mine back first, a total waste of time for me.

Last OEM color went fast because of full page color images that printed by accident. Maybe a pre-printing warning about full color images before they print by accident. Give option to cancel or go gray scale.

I think ink is a little overpriced to start with but when I installed a 62XL cartridge and it lasted less than 3 weeks when they usually last 3+ months. I was thoroughly disappointed. I called to complain, got no satisfaction from that call and have not heard anymore from HP until now. I have since purchased a new HP printer but will be looking at other options in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from long lasting I have always used HP ink in my HP printer. while it works flawlessly and the xl lasts longer than the regular cartridges I am finding the cost is becoming more than I can afford. I do recommend using this if you have an HP printer
