Great keyboard, but restricted programming
Need to allow longer key programming strings and let me program the emoji button. The programmable keys are inconvenient for regular use.

HP 975 keyboard incompatible with other HP wireless dongle products - Poor customer service
Nice keyboard, but unable to pair the HP 925 ergonomic vertical mouse to the same USB-A wireless dongle. Even though this incompatibility information is nowhere to be found on HP's websites, I was still charged the 15% restocking fee for returning the two items. Multiple emails to HP's customer service went ignored. I liked the keyboard, but that the fact the HP 975 wireless keyboard and the HP 925 vertical mouse required two separate, incompatible wireless dongles taking up two USB-A ports was a deal breaker.

Exceeds Expectations
This keyboard has exceeded my expectations. It was easy to install and has been performing wonderfully. I use it with a MacPro Laptop & a Lenovo Windows based laptop and am able to switch between the two seamlessly.

Type Happy!!
This is the best keyboard I have used in decades. It has a great feel, is configurable, and the fact that the keys light up makes it all the better! After using my computer and this keyboard my wife and later my son bought the same keyboard.

Great keyboard and solid alternative for Logitech Master Keys
Bought this from a local dealer and was pleasantly surprised at the build quality. Very sturdy and firm. Keys have a decent amount of travel for a low profile keyboard. It's a lot similar to laptops with scissor switches. The battery life is average for me, but my usage is minimum 10 hours a day (programming/coding) but with the backlight at 50-100% with 20 second duration for the backlight, I've gotten 2-3 days of full blown usage out of this keyboard. Charging is quick and you can continue using the keyboard while it's charging so no issues there. The shortcut keys make it very easy to do a lot of W10/W11 combos without needing to press multiple keys. Only gripe is if the instruction to find the HP Accessory app was a little more clear, but the app does make it easier to remap the keys and also see battery life.

Required software not available
To use the function keys (I was really excited about the mute button) you can only install the software through the Windows store. That may not seem like a big deal, but if your work / managed PC has disabled access to the store it makes the device useless. HP, as a provider of enterprise tech, should understand this and make a version of the software available outside of the App Store.

Seriously nice, although pricey
This thing is seriously nice. Heavy, well-made, premium feeling. Very soft key action with a quiet click. Very similar to a laptop keyboard, which is what I wanted. Also connects to computers very easily.
A couple of negatives. The battery isn’t quite as good as they say. I’ve only used it a few days and already needed to charge it. Not a huge deal if you have power readily available. And of course it’s pricey.
All in all, though, I’m extremely happy with this keyboard. Highly recommended.

This is the best Keyboard I have ever owned. Built on a solid foundation with keys that respond to a sensitive touch, wireless mobility and responsiveness make this perfect for me.
Whether, I am at my desk or in my recliner, in the light of day or the dark of night, the HP975 Dual-Mode Wireless KeyBoard lights up at a touch. I recommend this for for everyone.

As bad as they say it is.
I didn't believe the bad reviews, but they are true. The keyboard is backlighting proximity sensors do not work, and starting to type on a dark keyboard does not turn the lights on either. The user manual is in 40+ languages, all of which are three paragraphs written in English. Seems like HP outsourced this keyboard to China and didn't bother to check the quality.

Minor issues
The keyboard looks and feels great. I like the sleek minimal feel, key clacking is pretty quiet. The keyboard I received has some back lighting issues where when I turn the backlight off the light continue to flash rapidly but very dimly so they never fully turn off. Battery life isn't super great and needs to be recharged every other week.

Meh. Maybe you'll have better luck.
Heavy, premium feel. Keys are are nice, and comfortable to type with. Very low profile keys. Not to loud, but just tactile enough. Non-mechanical, but still nice responsiveness. Battery life seems to be abysmal. I've resorted to leaving the USB cable attached. Experienced issues with the illumination randomly blinking and pulsing, and with random bluetooth disconnections. Have to re-pair it frequently. Resorted to using the dongle. Overall disappointed with this product as a wireless keyboard... but not mad at all about it being a wired keyboard. I got a deep discount on it anyways, perhaps this is why? HP sold me their B-stock.

NO NUMBER LOCK WHY???
I have an HP Omen Laptop which is great I figured this HP 975 Keyboard would be great to pair with it however there is no Number Lock on the keyboard and because my laptop also has no number pad there is also no number lock on the keyboard. I tried using the windows keyboard to see if i could find a way around it but it didn't work for this keyboard so essentially I have a number pad that is completely useless. The keys feel great but without the numberpad becomes a waste.

Keyboard does not always pair
Keyboard does not connect, and you have to pair EVERY time the computer goes to sleep or is turned on. Really a terrible feature and annoying. Sometimes it also doesn't pair and you have to restart the computer again.

Battery does not hold charge for more than 2-3 days.
Using it for almost 3 weeks and the keyboard does not hold charge for more than 2-3 days after 4-5 hrs / day usage. Called customer service, after transferring through 4 teams and spending over an hour explaining the situation to each of the representative separately. I was offered to exchange the keyboard as it is supposed to last 6 months !!!. Additionally customer service requires to return the product before they can send a replacement. I had another keyboard to work with but is that what is expected that if you don't have one, figure out yourself meanwhile you won't get a replacement until we get original. Customer service was a disappointment and so is the keyboard so far. Waiting for replacement keyboard to come.

Bad battery life. Lots of annoying problems.
Short battery life. Needs to be recharge about every 3 days with auto backlight on and at 50% brightness at 10 second duration. Proximity sensor stops working randomly. HP accessory center software has annoying problems. HPAC crashes randomly, sometimes freezes, and other times it just shows devices as disconnected. Turning keyboard on and off and reconnecting wifi dongle or restarting software sometimes fixes some of these problems but usually happens again within few hours. Keyboard itself looks and typing feels nice. Just lots of annoying problems.

Decent keyboard
I like it. The battery dies fairly quickly if you have the background lights on, and don't turn the keyboard off between use. It charges quickly. Takes some getting used to which picture buttons do what because the manual does not have any guided usage for those. The reviews and questions on the listing were helpful because other people asked also.
Other than that, I got this on sale and paid $30 for it. I would not pay over $100 for this keyboard.
