2/4 monitors so half the stars
Could only get two monitors to work out of the four ports. I am in IT so did all I could. Ended up having to plug the hdmi directly to my computer so two on the device and one in the computer. Not what I wanted but works

Great Dock for my ROG Ally!
I’ve tried a few docks (excluding dongles…don’t like how they hang) with my ROG Alley, but this one is the best for sure! I had a pretty expensive Lenovo dock that I simply couldn’t get to work, but this HP Dock was plug and play and works like a dream! My only regret is that I didn’t grab two when I grabbed it on sale!

Docking station used with an HP Spectre 2-in-1 and Windows 11.
The docking station works very well once it comes online. Plenty of ports, no hiccups. However, after my laptop times out and turns off the monitor (i.e. after the computer has not been used for a while), then from the time you press a key on the keyboard, it takes like 20 seconds for the monitor to come on again. What should be an immediate wake-up seems like an age for the system to come alive.
I am using a Hp Spectre 2-in-1 that is only 10 months old. Running windows 11.

Works as expected
Works as expected with both our Mac (naturally you need to install displaylink first) and windows laptops. Was hesitant because of the bad reviews, but since it was on sale I took a chance.

It does work on Mac
I got this for my iMac and MacBook Pro, Both of these are running the M1 chip and this works great on them both. For everyone saying it does work, They are not downloading the drivers for the device to work. Without the drivers it will work just as a USB hub, Once the drivers are installed it will run a program called display link. And then you will have video out.

Works Perfectly
I bought this Targus Docking Station for the power connection and all the ports work perfectly. It came with world electrical plug-ins that are still in the box. And at a great price from HP. My new laptop is very happy.

No Netflix, DVD, or other copy protected video
I purchased this as a present for my wife to replace a cheap HDMI+USB dongle. My goal was additional USB ports and power delivery. When she installed it, I was surprised that it required the installation of a video driver. Her old dongle did not require this. It appeared to be working fine until she tried to watch any streaming video services such as Netflix. The sound would play, but the video was replaced with just a black screen. We have since learned that this is a DisplayLink adapter. It is essentially an external video card. DisplayLink has poor update rates, so can’t be used for intensive video applications such as gaming. It also can’t be used for displaying copy protected video content since the Mac DisplayLinkdriver does not support HDCP. Had I known about this, I would not have purchased this product.

It's okay - easy, seems reliable, but slow
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bundle was actually TWO docking stations. I'll give one to my son. Overall it's straight-forward and it works with my Dell Latitude laptop after I installed the Targus drivers. It's great that it has a 100w power supply bundled in. I have two displays attached, each with 2560x1440 resolution. There's a lag when dragging windows between screens, and I expect it would be too slow for gaming or any intense graphics. Fortunately my requirements are minimal.

Not able to position screens in the order desired.
I purchased the Targus with great expectations that I would be able to use my HP laptop with two additional monitors. After quite an effort, I was able to get the monitors to work, but not in the sequence I desired. I wished the Laptop to be on the far left. Instead, the Targus would only allow it to be sequenced in the middle. This is unacceptable.

Finally a dock that works well
Works very well. I had a different dock that seemed to drop my internet on a daily basis. Ever since I've switched to this one, I haven't had internet problems at all.

Not compatible with Macs
Not compatible with MacMini M1. Works well enough with my HP Probook 445 G9. Was hoping to use it to connect 2 monitors, 1 ethernet line, 1 keyboard and 1 mouse with both my Mac and HP, as both can use a usb-c cable, but unfortunately it is not compatible with the MacMini. However it came as a kit with the HP so I am not sure I can return it.

Worthwhile purchase
My wife has two offices, so this two pack was perfect. She can now use an elevated monitor and full size keyboard in both locations, sparing her from having to look down all day and the neck pain that accompanies. She has no problem undocking from one location and docking at the next.
