These items came with instructions on how to insert the batteries, which was obvious anyway, but no indication of what to do with the green buttons or how to set the items so that they worked with the computer. They were therefore useless.
Many attempts to find simple directions online were useless for this particular divtces

Keyboard was of poor quality. Too much force was required for keys to be actuated. Key stroke not recogized. Seemed like I was typing on an old manual typewriter.

The keyboard and mouse are adequate. The mouse is a bit compact but still functional. Keyboard backlighting would've been nice. Regardless of mouse size and no backlighting, I'd recommend them.

Too many unexplained keys.
Too many keys I never use. Both sets of vertical keys on the far outside left and right sides of the keyboard are unknown to me and I never use them except by accident. I have searched in vain for an explanation of them. The booklet that I got with the keyboard and mouse should at least tell me where to get an explanation of these keys. I am sorry I am such a novice (I really am not) that needs some guidance in this area. TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO KNOW !!!!!!

Works well but set up was a little tricky as I didn’t know which way to put the batteries in the mouse. I also wonder if I should shut off the mouse when I’m done with the computer. Does it sleep when the computer does? Otherwise I am glad I got this set as it gives me more choices of how I work.

Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Great Price
I had a little problem ordering my wireless keyboard and mouse. The one I wanted was out of stock. The one I have works for me just not how I have to use it being smaller and lighter. It does what it is supposed to. The mouse works fine too. I have a slight problem with the on and off switch being I feel it is not made well enough to last long. I could be wrong.

Keyboard works great, mouse works but very sluggish with the pointer movement. It was so bad I had to reverted back to my wired mouse. Could not find on the HP website who to call for support.

Nice low cost keyboard and mouse combo
This keyboard and mouse didn't cost much (on sale!). It was easy to install - batteries and USB dongle and it worked. Note, my PC is under my desk (keyboard and mouse are on top of the desk obviously) and a USB port in the back of the PC was too far away for the mouse to work - these things don't have a lot of range. My only other complaint is there are a few keys on the left of the keyboard with unclear icons. Experimenting with them sort of identified them, but until I found clear explanations on an HP expert web page, they were not clearly explained. You can't go to HP support and get a decent manual for this keyboard. Other than that, the keyboard and mouse feel great and work well.

This keyboard works for me!!
A great keyboard like my older model which is so much more comfortable and easier to type with than the newer smaller ones with the keys touching each other and not raised up, like this one and space in between keys! Couldn't get used to it either. My mistakes were off the chart and my speed much compromised. I guess I'm old school and don't like change much. But I love this one so much better!

Love My New Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Combo
My old wireless keyboard/mouse combo was dying, so I hopped on a good sale at HP and bought an HP wireless keyboard/mouse 300. Upon receipt, I inserted the batteries in both, plugged in the USB dongle, and hit the connect buttons. Setup and installation was simple, and both are working very well. The keyboard has a few keys that I haven't explored yet but am looking forward to learning the functions. I especially like the volume control keys - much easier than making volume changes from my HP monitor.

Only one concern
Everything works great, except when I put the USB nano receiver into the port to make the mouse work, I can't use that port for anything else. This is used on my desktop computer, which only has one USB port that I can find. I want to download some pictures from a memory stick to my desktop, but I can't.

My mouse had died...now that is sad...so checked into what I should do by asking the "Community" and it was suggested that I could get a new mouse but the best bet was to get the mouse and the keyboard. I have a wireless mouse and keyboard and when I got the new one the keyboard is smaller, which is nice since it gives me better positioning of the keyboard and the new mouse is easier to use. I am sold on HP products as they have served me well and ordering straight from HP is better because I know I will get what I need that is quality. I am so sorry my mouse died but the new mouse is doing just fine as I did not tell it what the other mouse died from. I admit I am hard on my mice as I sometimes knock them off the desk but it is not intentional as I am just very clumsy...Thank you...Maggie

Good Value for money
Pros: Price, sturdiness of build material, Keyboard has extra shortcut buttons that are very helpful, single USB dongle that works for mouse and keyboard and also works when inserted in the docking station freeing up USB slots on my laptop. Comes with all batteries needed. Keyboard buttons have a decent range of click.
Cons: Keyboard seems to be shrunk a bit in width - Home/Insert/Delete/End/Page Up/ Page Down group are 2x3 not 3x2 like standard keyboards, I feel that every time I try to type A I press Caps lock instead.
Caps lock light is at top right not next to the button.
The top left keyboard shortcut button is strange - I thought it was minimize all windows, but it seems to make them disappear. I then thought it is close all windows, but when I open task manager I find that all programs are still running, but I am unable to access them. a bit of a frustration when you hit it by accident and all your windows vanish.
Size of mouse is a bit too small.
Click noise on mouse is very load.
Mouse sensitivity is a bit too high.
Biggest issue: Keyboard is very light in weight, can't stay still on the desk if you push it with the weakest amount of power.

Better Battery Directions needed
A very good and responsive keyboard and mouse replacement for my HP ENVY 23 All-In-One. The keyboard is a bit noisy for my taste. Please print the directions clearer to show the direction of the batteries (+ and -) on both the instruction sheet and stamped on the keyboard and mouse.

I like the Keyboard and the Mouse. I like the 1 Micro USB works for both Keyboard and Mouse. Saves me from have using 2 USB ports since USB ports on my computer is very limited. The mouse works perfectly. The Keyboard keys could have more Spring Pressure in my opinion, but that may not be what you like. I wish there was a the old IBM/PS 2 Keyboard (springiness and heaviness) with a nice big grip mouse. I would pay a premium for that if HP offered it.

Few problems.
I bought it two months ago. Too often keyboard not responding to keys entering, need to press the keys several times. Also, the same issues with the mouth. Looks like the wireless connection not perfect. I think it will be better if I return it after purchase but I think it is too late and still need a keyboard and mouth.

If you are purchasing a keyboard and mouse for an adult, this is not the one for you. The mouse is about half the size of my previous Microsoft or Logitech mouse. The keyboard is quite a bit smaller; fingers are cramped together--not ergonomic at all.

The mouse will not work the first time I tried to use it. Turned off and then on and tried different batteries and still doesn't work. The light never comes on. Called HP and the replacement is on back order for two months.

Just received the wireless keyboard and mouse 300 and was using them within minutes. The keyboard does have a few keys that either stick or make inconsistent contact, which leads to more auto-correct entries than I would prefer. Continued use will likely break-in the key contacts. Very pleased with combo from a price/utility perspective.

Since I bought this keyboard, I have use it daily in my shop and find it to be a great purchase for the buck. It has all the functions that I need to use and being wireless, I can take it to the other end of the shop and still check items while still being able to see the monitor. Perfect to move between computers
I have a PC and Laptop (docking station) - all are HP. Both systems connect to the same monitors (multiple inputs), so I can only use one computer at time - one has to be in sleep mode or shut off. Too many monitors for a reasonably priced KVM - so just moving the dongle allows me to use same keyboard and mouse for both systems. They work great!

Stop working after 10 days
Returned, keyboard stopped working after 10 days, replaced batteries, reinstalled driver, did Windows settings reboot and all imaginable. Waste of time and money. Shame how such a simple device, not even Bluetooth fails in that short period of time. Replace with a Logitech mouse-keyboard combo about 1 month ago and not a single problem, no doubt why it is the leading and trustable brand.

Mechanically, the keyboard is fine. The mouse did not work, and I am in the process of getting it replaced. There is a lack of documentation. There are five special function keys on each side of the keyboard. The icon on the keys identify some of the functions, but not all. This is no description of what each key does.

mouse stop working after 50 days, poor performance
I bought this on January 12, got it on January 14. it's march 11.
trust me, I take care of my electronic products like it's my baby.
and that mouse, its scrolling function stopped working after 50 days.
even the keyboard is functioning weirdly. but, that mouse is garbage
I'm not comfortable with this mouse at all. I have used so many other popular brands' products & so many other cheap brands too, none failed so miserably.
I can't return it because they only accept returns within 30 days.

Mouse and keyboard do no good when there's no laptop. Ordered on Black Friday. Notified today that the order is delayed until 3 weeks after Christmas. Great replacement keyboard, less a Sleep key.
Nice keyboard complete with USB stick. Easy to setup even on an old Windows 7 operating system. After downloading updated drivers, I was up and back running offline in less than 15 minutes. Took off 1 Star as keyboard does not have a Sleep Mode key, which the original keyboard did and I used constantly. But for the price, this is a good value.

The instructions for loading the batteries and USB device were black pictures and not easy to follow. Words would have been most helpful. The markings in the battery cavities were not easy see. It took a person with excellent vision to help.

It does work - at least when received.
I was hoping for a keyboard that would enable typing documents. This was not it. Funky keyboard with poorly responsive keys. I put it aside as a backupp keyboard and dragged out my old logitech. It is unfortunate as I had a HP keyboard that I really liked - but apparently no longer available - that failed after about a year of use --- just stopped typing/responding.

I will look for a more expensive product. This was cheap, but it also feels extremely cheap. The keys are loud, and feel very cheap. The mouse is not much better either.
Pros: only one usb receiver for both devices. I used it for one day thinking I might get used to it, but hated it.

They make the use of my first laptop effortless.
Having this special wireless combination of mouse and keyboard is making the use of my first laptop so easy! I had learned to type decades ago, and need that "cushy" feel of the keys in order to keep up the typing speed I had before with my PC. The wireless mouse lets me do my tasks with breakneck speed as well. Both items are godsends.

The wireless keyboard works very well and was very easy to set up. The mouse works well, nut it is small and slippery. Overall this was an excellent value.

Love the one USB to work both the mouse and keyboard. The tactile feel of the keyboard is awesome. The design of the mouse is great, it fits perfectly in my hand, and operation is amazing. If I was able to add anything during the build-out of the keyboard, it would be to add a piece of rubber or tactile feel substance to the front of the keyboard to help with ergonomics and wrist resting.

No wires gives you the ability not to worry about losing your connection in the middle of a project. The mouse and the keyboard had trouble responding. I was constantly having to push the keys more than three times to get it to type. The pointer would not move when I moved the mouse or delayed in it's response. It got to the point I plugged in the keyboard that came with the pavilion computer that I purchased and hooked up my logitech wireless mouse which worked perfectly. So disappointed with the wireless keyboard and mouse.

I purchased the HP keyboard and mouse in January 2022, and the mouse stopped working yesterday. I followed all the troubleshooting suggestions, changed the batteries etc., and still nothing. The pointer is frozen in place, so in order to use my desktop, I had to hook up my old wired mouse. The keyboard works fine, but the mouse is dead in the water.

It feels nice. I am more accurate than with a. Laptop key board. But it really looses points because it should have a light for caps lock especially because of how sensitive passwords are. It really messed me up.

Trying to type out this review is a real trial. I purchased this keyboard and mouse with a new gaming level computer. The keyboard will type OK for a while and then stops sending the characters to the computer. Example: I was trying to type an exclamation mark. The random key drop this time was the shift key. It typed a 1 instead. I hit the backspace key 84 times, (yes, I counted) before it finally allowed me to get rid of it. Then the shift refused to work again, another 1. A few more key presses, and finally after 4 rounds, the ! was finally in place. This is with new batteries and a fast and capable computer. So far, I have had at least 40 dropped characters trying to post this review. Not very funny. Oh, the mouse works fine, BTW.

The quality of this keyboard is shoddy at best. After a month or so, some of the keys started to become unresponsive. Logitech and Microsoft I've use that are around the same cost are much better quality. I chose this particular keyboard based on the quality of other HP keyboards I've used over years. I guess I'll think twice before purchasing another HP keyboard.

The set was cheap and the quality seem to reflect that. Clicking withe the mouse is very loud compared to my old mouse and the same kind of goes for the keyboard. For the price I guess that is what you can expect.

Keyboard is too light. Slides around the desk too much. I prefer paying more for a keyboard that is ergonomically friendly, has some weight to it and is more robust and reliable on the wireless connection. If you plan on owning this keyboard, you might want to have a wired keyboard handy to get you out of a jamb from time to time. Also as the batteries get week, the keyboard needs to be closer to the CPU or it will not work.

The nano receiver is only 3-4 feet away from the mouse/keyboard combination, utilizing a USB port on the front of my brand new HP ProDesk 600 G6, and the connection is beyond spotty. Reconnected/reset numerous times... ; (

I purchased this for my husband because his was worn out. The keyboard and mouse work good, was a snap to install, and the keyboard is a lot sturdier than the last one he had. I like the fact that it has a wrist rest as well. My husband has Parkinson's and this keyboard is easier for him to see and use than the last one he had.

Easy to set up and use. The only drawbacks is that it has rather loud key strikes, which gets annoying. he keyboard arrived with a Hot 'X' key that will not reset. Unable to use for work processing but am able to play some games online. Will return for an exchange and update review accordingly.

Due to being unable to get assistance when needed,
Keys too high, no light for number lock and when doing a math problem, then hitting enter, sometimes worked and other times didn't. I tried to get help from HP and couldn't as usual. I can't believe I bought another HP product after having went thru five printers in a year, always having trouble getting help from HP. I would have paid extra to get the wireless mouse and keyboard with my new HP computer, but it wasn't offered. This is a good product and upgrade to the wired keyboard and mouse. Unfortunately the first one arrived and the keyboard worked but not the mouse, both using a single USB transmitter. The website was not friendly and the first customer service rep not helpful. It's plug and play and it works or it doesn't. I communicated with a second customer service rep a few days later and once they saw the degree of my frustration they immediately sent me a no cost replacement without all the red tape, which works fine. That is how Customer Service should work.

Now after it would not set up for me, and retrying battery replacement 3 times in both units, I put it back in the box.
My Son Came over and asked to set it up; I told him It didn't seem to work for me. He did it and voila It worked. That darn on-off switch in the mouse was the culprit. I thought I flipped it.

Good, but keep these in mind
I personally did not like it but it just depends on what you like. The one star off is because you have to keep the keyboard quite close to the USB or it stops working. Before you purchase this one, realize that the sides being moved in and the keys being a tad smaller to accommodate it may take some getting use to. I kept kidding the edge because I am use to having keys closer to the corners.

I bought the HP wireless keyboard and mouse because I had purchased an HP 17" laptop because my HP AIO desktop will not support Windows 11. I don't much like touchpad navigation of the cursor. I thought that I was getting equipment smaller than what I was using for the desktop, but was mistaken. the mouse is smaller than my current HP but the keyboard is larger and to me not as well designed as the one used with the desktop.

I received this keyboard a few days ago and it did not meet my expectations. This is a new style keyboard for me where there are side panel keys for quick access shortcuts. However, there was no information to decribe these keys. Only instructions were 4 pictures showing how to install batteries and the USB port. A call to customer support was not helpful. I called technical support who was helpful, but he was not familiar either.
In additon the keys are not responsive to typing. I have had to hit the same key serveral times before it would recognize the indicated key. While typing I am thinking my words are there only to find words are missing. The mouse is noisy and sometimes not responsive either.

I did not like the keyboard in the fact that it is raised too high off the desk. I like a flatter keyboard. The keys are not comfortable. The mouse if using up batteries ever week and I not using the computer more than 2 hours each week.

Conmfortable Touch and Convenience
This is my first experience with a wireless keyboard and mouse. The touch of the keyboard is just right and the mouse scrolls smoothly and is comfortable for my hand. I no longer have to worry about catching the wires with my foot while sitting at my desk. Also no problem with the mouse being accidentally pulled off the keyboard tray when my house is being cleaned because I put both devices in a file cabinet drawer.

Does not work... Mouse quit working completely. Keyboard works sometimes. After an hour and 10 minutes on with technical support, they did not solve the problem and wanted to send me a new one. I asked for the money to be put back in an hp credit so I could buy something else and was refused.

Wireless mouse 300 tracks poorly.
The big problem I have is that the mouse doesn't track well after a bit of use. This is a problem even with fresh batteries.
The keyboard has the keys cramped together. The Insert/Home/Page keys are in unusual locations, not where my muscle-memory expects.

Two bad HP keyboards.
The keyboard doesn't work. One tech (Geek Squad) said it was a hardware issue with the keyboard. I had another IT tech come to the house to check it out and he found out that the keyboard drivers were no longer there. He also said I should buy a Logitech keyboard (combo). I did that and now I have a working keyboard. This is the 2nd keyboard this happened with recently.

Keyboard and mouse wireless arrived quickly and well packaged. They even put plastic film over the shiny parts of the plastic. It's lightweight but not cheaply made. Buttons are sensitive and reception is great. I would recommend this product and buy it again.

The extra keys on the sides take a little getting used to. It’s a challenge transitioning from my work keyboard or laptop, to this one because of that. Besides that, it’s been working well. Ive had mine for about a year and it was okay at first but now it constantly stops working. Its very frustrating because I can be in the middle of working and have to stop for a few minutes to adjust it or take out the usb and hope it will work again. I guess you get what you pay for. I'll be going back to Logitech for my next wireless combo because I haven't had any issues with them.

Terrible keyboard. If I could have rated "0" I would have. Didn't work right out of the box. Multiple skips and missing characters during typing. Tried to find the latest driver online and it was nowhere to be found. In fact, the Wireless Keyboard and Mouse 300 combo sold to me is not even manufactured anymore, let alone supported by HP. How can HP sell an item as "new" that they don't maintain anymore. It came right from the HP Store. Unthinkable !

I usually buy a Logitech keyboard and mouse combo, but thought I would give HP a try. Big mistake. Even when I was sitting right next to the pc with the wireless right next to me the keyboard would miskey and drop the mouse connection constantly. I have a Logitech in my bedroom and the keyboard an mouse combo work perfectly at 8 feet from the pc. This is not a good Keyboard & Mouse combo.

Set up was easy, but I'm finding issues with the keyboard skipping characters after typing a string of text, especially when numbers and letters are mixed. The skipped characters seem random, as if it is a connection problem. The desktop is literally less than 2 feet away.

"HP Wireless Keyboard and Mouse". There is a keyboard. And a mouse. They are wireless. Both worked out of the box in simple Plug-n-Play fashion.
My reaction is "flimsy", and not "just right".
They just feel "cheap". Light weight is nice, but it comes from using less material rather than better materials.
"Medium" size. Essentially a full sized keyboard. No ergonomics; no extra keys; no padding. I could accept a real full sized keyboard, or a mini keyboard, over this.
Mouse is also "medium". 50% larger than my travel mouse; 30% smaller than my desktop mouse.
And, what's with an on/off switch for the mouse, but no on/off for the keyboard.

It does free up a USB port which is pretty cool. Also too, you have to appreciate the keys on the keyboard. What I mean by this is the keys are not like those on laptops of newer keypads. Hence, do not give this keyboard a bad review because you didn't look closely at what you were purchasing. The mouse is typical mouse that slides nicely on mousepad.

these are junk, poorly made, light, feels like a toy made in Taiwan in 1960, so much worse than my old HP keyboard and mouse I didnt even bother installing. Annoyed at myself, HP sold these in a bundle with a new screen, I should not have bitten on this marketing promotion, but also annoyed at HP for pushing such substandard products.

Entry Level Wireless Keyboard/Mouse Combo
I consider myself an average sized adult male with average sized hands. I use a computer for work and am a touch typist. My computer and keyboard were placed on the same desk.
I found the mouse to be too small, smaller than a standard mouse.
The shortcut keys, especially on the right side of the keyboard, interfered with my ability to use the number pad without looking. Only the caps lock has a light.
I think this will work well for casual users who want a wireless keyboard and mouse combo for hunt and peck typing and general web surfing. It falls short compared to other full size mouse/keyboard devices. If you plan on doing a lot of typing and need an ergonomic mouse, look for a higher end combo set.

Key board is good. In this model, the space between the keys are reduced which is I felt some difficulties while typing fast, as the functional keys are placed on left and right side. It should have been placed on top. Otherwise it’s good.

A few inches more in layout would help considerably. The numeric keyboard is very close to the control keys at the right. The control keys at the left are helpful, but other options could be added, e.g. calculator.

Great product. Much nicer than the keyboard and mouse that came with my computer. The key are much better and the action and travel feel more positive. I like the keys on either side but I will have to get used to not pushing one of them when I want to press enter on the 10 key pad. I will be glad to get used to that. My old computer has a similar set from a competitor that is not nearly as good.

Which direction do batteries go into accessories?
I wish there had been photo instructions to illustrate which direction the batteries should be inserted. It was hit and miss on both the keyboard and mouse. i did know that the mouse needed to be turned on because I had one before. I still don't understand why you sell a superior, quality computer and pair it with an inferior keyboard and mouse. Couldn't type on the flat keyboard and mouse was extremely slow and cumbersome with a cord. Non-wireless accessories should be obsolete and replaced with wireless ones issued with all new computers. Wireless accessories are faster than a direct wired connection. Usually wireless is a slower connection. This just shows you that you include an inferior keyboard and mouse with all new computers. this could influence my next computer purchase. I do appreciate the no hassle replacement though. Thank you.

Received wireless keyboard and mouse the other day with new PC. Went to set up them up and to use the keyboard you need to push the keys through the desk for them to work and the mouse will now work at all the piece for the mouse to connect to the tower is missing. Both are junk will use wired one until I am able to get these replaced.

It didn't come with written instructions which is convenient if someone doesn't read English. I plugged the USB port the wrong way and thought it didn't work, but then I flipped it and I did have to push it a little bit and they both work great. I bought this combo with a new desktop PC. The keyboard missed random characters while typing. HP support was very helpful and replaced the combo. The replacement combo has a problem with the mouse. When I click and hold, the mouse intermittently releases the hold before I have released the button. Inexpensive but unreliable.

I suppose I should be ok with it for the cost. It is nice that both keyboard and mouse us one usb receiver. The keyboard is comfortable enough. I don't like that the right side is not a standard key layout. I'm constantly having to look for the key I need. The mouse is responsive but has no side buttons with practically every mouse built these days have. I use the back-page button all the time so this gets annoying. Only because I don't need to type much on this computer makes it acceptable. For the price I am happy but would not have spent any more for it.

Bought this to replace the OE that came with HP aio computer. This is a standard quality keyboard and mouse with white letters on black keys. I could not get used (or see very well) the faint black letters on white keys that came with computer. (I am a hunt and peck not a touch typist.) This keyboard is better than the OE but I really liked best the model 51870341 HP that came with an earlier computer

Weak adapter
So, I do not have a laptop, but a pc and I put the little wireless adapter behind the tower in a USB port. And for two weeks I have tried to get the keyboard to work. Finally, I pulled the little adapter out from behind the tower and plugged it into a USB port on my monitor stand. Now the keyboard works. My recommendation is to make sure the adapter is close to the keyboard and mouse.

I bought this keyboard with the wireless mouse combo in June 2022. It is now September and I’ve changed the batteries multiple times, only for it to NOT work. It goes in and out, working sometimes. Sometimes the CAPS Lock is on even when I haven’t pressed the button. This was a waste of money.

The keys identifiers are stickers
The keys identifiers are stickers and reflect light making them difficult to see exactly which keys are which. This is especially true for keys for the comma, period and numbers on the number pad. This is the first time I have had a keyboard that had stickers for the keys and hope to never have another one. The mouse and the unified USB dongle work okay.

Perfect for Long nails
Iiiiii LOVE THIS KEYBOARD. My only complaint is that it isn’t RGB. I tried very hard to find the sister keyboard that has lights but was unsuccessful. This keyboard is SUPERB for me and my long nails. I mean 1inch and up. Other keyboards come close but I strain my knuckles. I tried it at work and had to have it. Price point is fab. Easy to transport. You can’t lose. So when are y’all gonna give me lights ;-) thanks a ton! Get this gadget y’all!

Keys are so stiff, hard to push and extremely noisy. Even the mouse! There isn't even a light for the caps lock or number lock to let you know if it's on or off. Volume buttons were on side of keyboard which I thought I would really like. I would have if they weren't so hard to push. Even though I purchased this on sale, I wouldn't buy it again or recommend to others. Extremely unhappy with the set.

Don't buy it.
This was delivered on 4/20. By 9/20, the letters on the keyboard began chipping off. By 10/15 the mouse had control problems despite the batteries being valid until 2029, so I stopped using it and went back to my 11 year old Logitech mouse which still works. Now there is a problem with the keyboard registering ghost key strokes on the esc key which causes the PC to go into the Boot screen upon start up.

I bought this to replace may old HP combination that I have used for over five years. I went with HP since my old one was a work horse and had no problem until the switch in the mouse died. I was very disappointed in the quality of the new one. The biggest problem is the mouse roller is very sloppy. If you shake the mouse the roller bounces up and down and side to side and the feel is the same. When I use it to scroll down a page the roller feels loose. As I pull my finger back across it the roller lifts slightly, lifting my finger for the next scroll, the roller drops back down with a chatter. It is very distracting and you feel like your not in control. I have looked closely at the mouse and this is the way it was made. The keyboard also does not feel correct. The distance you have to push down a key is greater, I could get used to the keyboard but it is not worth it. I had to go back to a wired mouse at the moment. Disappointed in HP with this one, and will scrap it as soon as I research and find a better one.

Excellent value for a full function keyboard and mouse which arrived in mint condition. The mouse is a bit small for a large hand but adequate. The addition of function hotkeys (copy, paste, etc.) is a nice touch but not all of the symbols are intuitive which could have been rectified by including them in the documentation.

Sometimes Old-school Works Best
I may be a stick in the mud, but this keyboard not just takes me back a few years, it is a full size one with a full laid out keyboard. No more guessing with combination of keys to generate the key I need. A mouse thrown in on the same dongle is a big plus too. This generation "old-school" is happy and knows that sometimes old-school works best.

This keyboard/mouse is excellent as to its functionality. However, whoever designed the ultra small and recessed off/on switch should be forced to use it constantly for eight hours one day.

Haven't bought a keyboard in many moons and had worn the letters off the keys on my last one... the palm rest on this keyboard is a significant improvement over what I had. This is a basic set up but I'm quite satisfied with it. I'm a touch typist and have had no issues transferring over. The key placement and touch / feel is perfect. The mouse is quite a bit smaller than my last one but I found I didn't mind. It sits in the front of my hand from mid-palm forward and honestly feels quite comfortable.

I have to keep reviewing what I input because the response time is slow especially with the number pad. This is extremely problematic and frustrating when I am inputting passwords etc. I work with numbers and the accuracy of my work is extremely important so this is not a very useful keyboard for that.

MY MOUSE HAS DIED
I needed the new keyboard because the letters were worn off the old one. So now I am happy with the new keyboard. Unfortunately I only used the mouse two days and it rolled off the desk and now the wheel is jammed. I will try to fix it later but right now I am back using the wired mouse. I am 90 years old so I manage to be patient with things.

I'm not happy with the products. My keyboard snd mouse stopped working Monday. I put new batteries and didn't resolve issue. I have switched around the dongle to different USB-A ports and didn't resolve issue.Bluetooth on laptop works because it finds my externsl devices. I figured because it was only $20 it's cheap items.

Great Keyboard and Mouse Combo for the Price
The keyboard and mouse combo work just as they are supposed to work. The keyboard is not top-shelf quality, but it definitely gets the job done. I have experienced zero lag time in responsiveness and the mouse works perfectly, not too fast and not too slow, at a 50% speed setting (my preference).
Prior to my purchase, I read comments posted by others such that the keyboard is flimsy, and that the mouse is too small. But, for the price, the products are great. Anyone wanting functional add-on hardware, with an understanding that the products are not the best things available, should be very satisfied with purchasing this combo. The appearance and quality are exactly as I expected, which is good enough for me - and it should be good enough for anyone else seeking functionality over style.

Bought this to go with a new HP PC. Like the PC a Lot, but some of the keys will quit working occasionally. This is frustrating when you are trying to tap out a long scathing review of a keyboard you are not very happy with. I was tempted to leave all the typos from the missed keystrokes, but it would have been nonsensical.
Also, I'm not using the mouse it shipped with; it was horribly slow and glitchy. Went aftermarket with an old Logitech I had at home.
Always been an HP fan and when everything is working, it works pretty well. When it isn't, I use bad words...loudly.

First of all I caught it on sale with a monitor I rated already during a Memorial Day sale. The keyboard is wireless. It is a lightweight keyboard but I don't have any thing to compare it to. I was going to buy a keyboard anyway but when I saw the special sale with the monitor and keyboard as well as the mouse combination it was a good deal in my opinion. The keyboard does what it is supposed to do. I use a desk mat large enough for my keyboard and mouse to maximize space and keep my keyboard stable. The keyboard is not back-lit but I have a desktop light so it is not a problem for me. I have no complaints.

First off it is really big, second I don't get that much distance maybe 10 feet tops, and third I could not find any indicator lights to let me know if I had caps lock or num lock on. Typing in a password that you can not see was pretty challenging.

Constantly Disconnects - Very Frustrating
I'm very disappointed. Despite trying multiple batteries, USB ports and computers, the keyboard and mouse will often disconnect. Sometimes together, sometimes one will work but not the other. My USB receiver is about 6-18" away from the mouse/keyboard at anytime, so that should not be an issue. I'm not sure if my unit is defective or if this is a more pervasive issue, but these will have to be discarded. :(

I love the functionality of the wireless keyboard and mouse although, from a learner's standpoint, I would highly recommend including documentation as to what the hot keys on the left and right of the keyboard are for. Instructions would be greatly appreciated for first-time HP users.

I am always having to press the Num Lock Key button to get the numeric keypad to enter numbers. One would think that the default on a numeric key pad would be that the numbers are on. It is a nuisance having to press it all the time to enter numbers.

Wireless convenience isn't worth the frustration
Constantly having to change sensitivity settings. The wireless connectivity and lack of cords is convenient, but actual performance puts us on the verge of going back to the wired keyboard and mouse.

After a month of trying to type on the wiwred keyboard I found it to be cumbersome and not a good fit for me. Love my new keyboard and the keys are so much easier to strike!

The keyboard seems to work well. I looked in vain for a way to turn it off when not in use. I fear the batteries will quit prematurely. The mouse, although it seems to work well, is difficult to turn on and off. Since the on/off button will not accommodate my fingers, I am using the tip of a ball point pen to reach it.

Don’t waste your money. This keyboard while wireless as it claims it’s also flimsy. The keys stick and it’s loud. Just purchased a two weeks ago and I’m already over it and looking for a new one. If you are looking for something cheap to get you by on a budget then this is your keyboard but if you want quality and something functional and sturdy look elsewhere.

This deserves a five star review because it does exactly what it's supposed to. However, I would have considered another model if I did my research first because I frequently use side buttons on the mouse, which this doesn't unfortunately have. The mouse is considerably smaller than mice you may be used to, but somehow it doesn't impede my usual work flow. I like how I can put the dongle inside the mouse so it doesn't get lost. I purchased seven of these for a nonprofit I run, Sobriety Sounds inc. We recently had an event, the first of it's kind, where we made music recording stations (fully configured audio production laptops) accessible to the addiction recovery community. With so much stress trying to get everything ready for the event, it was nice that the keyboard and mouse combos worked well and made our stations complete.

Total keyboard was shorter than the normal regular full-sized keyboard, so made it a bit hard to use. Mouse was small and would go to sleep quickly so you had to be constantly double clicking. I will keep it as a last resort backup, but overall pretty disappointed

The mouse right click doesn't work. I was trying to reach the support team, I entered the Product model number and the serial number, first for the mouse and then for the keyboard, but it didn't pull up the products. It had come with the desktop that I had purchased back then. Thanks for not discontinuing this model and making it cordless. The mousse is a little smaller than my previous one but I can cope.

Buy their higher end product for a few $ more.
Product is inexpensive and does what I expect except there are times when keyboard and mouse appears to conflict if too close, even after changing channels using the connect buttons.

perfect for those tired of wires
i needed a second screen and ended up with this bundle of the monitor and the wireless keyboard and mouse. i have to get used to the big floppy keys again since i've been working on the nice, low-profile keys on the laptop for the past four years! it was easy to get together, but two of the four batteries didn't work so i had to use my other mouse for a bit. otherwise, it's a great set.

Not a good set
The keyboard worked for about 2 weeks. Then the keys would get stuck and between the mouse and keyboard, they made a mess of my work Excel spreadsheet.

Defective! Terribly annoying! Keys randomly don't work. It can take repeated attempts to type passwords. Have change batteries twice but issue persists!

Product damaged No Help
It is still in the box and I want to return it, the Mouse is broken, something rattles inside and it fried 2 sets of batteries and burned us trying to remove the. I have tried to get help for return or exchange but I just want my money back and you can have your stuff

Not what I was hoping for.
The backspace button has a louder clicking noise than all other keys. I have to reset my connection multiple times throughout the day. I am not thrilled with this purchase. I will be switching back to my wired keyboard. The mouse works as expected.

Cheap way to replace the wired Keyboard and mouse!
Keyboard is great, has many special function keys to make navigating you HP quick! the mouse however is small, it will fit a child's hand more than adult. This was easy to setup and was working right of the box. The special pricing made this a great deal.

Better than I thought…I had a HP keyboard for years so long the letters were starting to wear off, so I decided it was time to purchase a new this one has all the side functions I need for my job so it gets an A+ in my book.

Reversed Mouse Issue
Happy with the product once I received a replacement. The first order had a reversed mouse - e.g. if I moved the mouse up it went down, if I moved the mouse to the right it went to the left. After working with an HP rep via email then via phone (remote access to my computer's settings) it was determined that a replacement would be sent. The new keyboard/mouse work as they should - Yay!

A good fit
Seems to be a good product. I don't use most of the quick connect keys, but that's okay. I like the fact that the Caps Lock button has an indicator light on the opposite side of the keyboard.

No wires!
The wireless keyboard and mouse clear my desk from all the wires that come with them. This way, my desk is less cluttered and simply looks cleaner, sleeker. It's easier to clean my desk without the wires. It works just as well as a wired keyboard and mouse but is more efficient without the wires.

Ok keyboard and mouse
You can feel cheap plastic and clicking keys, not quiet or smooth. But over time these become unimportant. I’ve used many keyboards over the decades. This is about middling. Not sure about durability.
