Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I have chosen the Evolve 65 MS Stereo because we are using Skype Business in the company worldwide and I am on the phone at least 4 hours per day. The Evolve is easy-to-use, has a great design, long lasting battery power and - the reason why I bought it - is cordless so that I can walk around in my office during phone conferences. I connected the Evolve to my company and private mobile phone as well, but it turned that the Evolve can handle only 1 connection at a time. I was hoping that it would ring regardless which phone is ringing. That's why I reduced the rating to 5 Stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null These headsets really help filter out background noise. Work in a lively setting with a lot of phone / conversation activities; the Evolve 80 fits completely over my ears and the noise reduction work magic to where I don't hear anyone else's conversations. My last headset didn't fit over my ears or offer noise cancelling - and I found myself compensating by talking louder during audio conferences. Now I can hear myself and am back to speaking in a normal (inside) level! Like being able to switch to my smart phone as well as music. Really impressed - and now a few other coworkers ordered a set as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null This is a review of the Jabra Evolve 80 (BETA). Wearability One thing that should be instantly noticed is that the headset is not lightweight. It is bulky, but not in a bad way at all. The speakers themselves make up the most of the weight and the headband is a lightweight plastic / rubber material that is flexible. The rubber on the headband acts as a cushion when wearing the headset. It is also molded in such a way to prevent it from shifting on your head. I find this to add to the feeling that you are wearing quality audio gear. There’s plenty of material to cushion the ears. My heads not small, but so far these are relatively comfortable. If you are used to wearing high quality stereo headphones, these should not come as a shock to the head. Audio Quality This is where the headset really stands out. Jabra has added noise cancellation technology to this headset which can be activated with a small sliding switch on the bottom of the right earpiece. With the super soft padding encapsulating your ears, even without the noise cancellation, outside sound is dampened which ultimately enhances the audio experience. I LOVE the noise cancellation feature. Music, phone calls, webinars all sound far better than previous headsets I’ve tried. Upon letting a friend use these temporarily, one of the first things they noticed was how quiet the headset is once it’s on your ears and that the sound quality was a tad better than their Beats headphones. I’m not sure what kind of drivers they use, but they sound good. Usability One pain point I discovered during my initial testing was with the microphone boom. The boom is very stiff to manipulate. It was so stiff that if you attempt to move the boom while wearing the headset, it’s not easily done with one hand. It’s not impossible, but the whole headset will shift and twist, making for a really awkward adjustment to something that should be easy. For me this is probably the only design flaw I noticed with this model. The boom itself is flexible, just getting the boom to rotate into position is difficult. This stiffness lessens but not by much after regular use. THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I GIVE IT 4 / 5 STARS. The headset has a mute button on the same side as the boom. It’s large, doesn’t have a lot of play and only requires a light press to activate / deactivate. To me it felt very natural to use my right hand and press to mute. Maybe that’s because I’m so used to answering my bluetooth headsets this way, but it still felt natural. Snug fitting, yet comfortable. Finally, the DND lights on the headset are a nice touch too that can be enabled with the USB UC adapter. So, if you are looking for a quality headset that is good for more than just UC, The Jabra Evolve 80 is what you want. I've been using this headset for a little over a week in various situations, and it's been consistently good. I can't stress enough how the noise cancellation feature has improved call quality for me and has helped me enjoy webinars and music even more. My primary use was with Google Hangouts (pc, tablet, phone), Join.Me, WebEx & cell phone calls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null The product has an extremely strong bluetooth radio. If I forget to switch it off it continues to send > 10 meters. I bliev you could do better in pressure against the ear and make it more comfortable. It is tireing after 4 hours of use. Otherwise an excellen product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null My desk was recently moved to a very noisy location & I was looking for a headset that was Skype ready, had Active Noise Cancelling, could play my Spotify music Bluetoothed from my Android phone and had an easy interface to the PC. I tried several Bluetooth headsets, but the PC Bluetooth lower layers are unable to get both the music from the phone (employer blocks Spotify in all forms) and Skype to dance together. The Jabra80 was USB - which I was/am OK with. The ANC is AWESOME. I can now quietly concentrate & work without feeling like I'm in a Chuck-E-Cheese's restaurant on a Saturday afternoon.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I think this device is the best option to sit in front of your desktop/laptop and manage handsfree calls. Especially in loud environments this headset is a MUST! Maybe without cable but with this awesome control button on the table it would be even more cool. Otherwise you're never going in to low batterie problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Easy to install and use. It is a comfortable headset with very good audio and microphone quality. I use it daily and are very satisfied. One thing has to be criticized. The plate on the headphone on the side without microphone vibrates. It is minimally loose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I expected a seamless experience when paired with my iPhone and surface pro The sound quality came out worse than average when pairing using the windows 10 Jabra app I don't get it.... I thought my Skype for business experience would be better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I work primarily from home and use the headset almost exclusively for Skype audio teleconferences. The sound quality is quite good. However, I have people tell me I break up frequently even though my headset and the dongle are only a foot and a half away from each other. Seems to be when I turn my head to the right, which turns the right earpiece away from my computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Very nice offering. A little wanting on the low-end, I think. But, this isn't engineered as a studio monitor headset. So, I suppose we can forgive that. As a workplace noise solution, it works very well. The headband is comfortable, and I am able to wear the headphones for several hours at a time without discomfort. The audio pass through on the right ear-cup is a pretty nice touch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Build quality overall is very good but for a few design faults. Earphones are too small and also one gets hot if using them for any length of time. They can fall off if you bend down say to a low drawer or pick something up. The microphone retaining magnet is not strong enough. The slide mechanism is not strong enough or long enough (by a cm).and the grip on the head is not as tight as it might be. But ...... I do love it and would recommend them to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Karl sent me one of these a while back, asking me to review. So it's been a year or so.... I won't let the kids touch these. The sound is fantastic. Great highs and lows without killing off the mid-range (so many off the shelf units do that!). Microphone pics up everything I say, but leaves all the background noise out. The pads are comfortable, but the headband is kind of tight. So while comfortable, I can't wear them for a long period due to the 'over-squeeze', if the tension was adjustable... these would be perfect headphones. The tangle-free cord and 3.5mm to USB adapter (which also charges the noise-cancellation battery works in Windows, Mac, and Linux without any user intervention. :) Additionally, the buttons on the USB adapter "just work" in Skype, Hangouts, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null So with lots of snow yesterday and working from home i got to put these things to great use. When i would put these on i could slip into a silent workspace. Could not hear dogs barking or anything. I was using a Softphone application and everyone i spoke with said i was crystal clear and they came through just the same. While for me they will not replace my on desk Pro 9470 (No desk phone support) they will be a go to when ever i am traveling or not at my normal desk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Clarity These over-ear headsets are perfect for my call center reps, especially those with hearing disabilities and/or hearing aids (HA's). The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of the headset is second to none, blocks everything out, even in a loud call center. You get about 12 hours ANC with continuous use, which is more than enough for my reps. Con: it doesn't come with a micro USB cable to charge the internal batter which manages the ANC feature. Once the battery dies, the headset seems to stop working, but once you turn off ANC it works like a really good quality headset, just without the ANC. Once it gets a charge in, the ANC can be turned back on and everything is good. I recommend also buying a 6ft Micro USB to USB cable with these so you can charge while you use it, and have room to work at the desk, for when you need to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I received one of these from a contest and I couldn't be more pleased! The noise cancelling feature is absolutely the best, turn it on and you wont be disturbed by anything. The sound quality is amazing, the earphone pads are the most comfortable of any headset i've ever owned and the microphone sound quality is really awesome. The only negative on this headset for me is the way that they mic is attached and how it feels like i'm going to break it when spinning it down for use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Music quality is excellent. The headphone's ear-cups do a really good job cutting out constant noises (like background talking, air conditioning noise, noise from white noise generators) while on the phone. What's great is that you can switch the ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) on and off so you can listen to some talking to you without having to take the headphones off. This headset worked well with Skype, and it would be an even better product if they were Bluetooth compatible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Sensory deprivation chamber! Blocks out the rest of the world and has music sound quality that, (IMHO) surpasses Bose. Noise cancelling microphone blocks out a noisy environment, even in the datacenter. Wish it was wireless, that may be coming soon, I hope.
