The Nintendo® Switch™ Joy-Con (L)/(R) Wireless Controllers feature an ergonomic shape and can attach to the Joy-Con grip, available separately. Split the gamepad into two independent controllers, each with a separate thumb stick, a full set of buttons, an accelerometer and a gyro. the Nintendo Joy-Con gamepad allows 2-handed play or sharing with a friend for multiplayer action. You can also connect both of them to your Nintendo Switch console to play in handheld mode. The Joy-Con controllers feature a comfortable wrist strap for long gaming sessions and function horizontally or vertically.

The Nintendo wireless controllers are battery operated. They each measure 1.41 inches x 4.02 inches x 0.55 inches, and the left one weighs 1.7 pounds while the right one weighs 1.84 pounds. You can connect up to 8 left or right controllers to the console. The Nintendo Switch device has rails to attach your controllers for handheld mode and is Bluetooth® compatible.
