Noise canceling not great
I like the headset and it works well however noise canceling is not as good as previous version. It picks up wind and also general background noise when I am not talking.

Sound, Charge, Range good. Then the 8-9th month rolls around people start complaining about poor sound quality, choppy etc. Too much for a product that costs this much. I am on my 4th unit

The battery lasts a Long time but I'm not on the phone all day is say 1-2 hours a day love the carrying case the fact that it's also a charger is just a plus to me !!

Very disappointed
Bought this headset a couple months ago it was fine at first, however when i hold a conversation with someone it echos. My mate has the exact same ear piece and when we talk to each other, the echo is even worse. Its so annoying, and the fact that i have to cut my bluetooth off and talk to him through speaker or hold my phone is ridiculous. I wouldnt recommend this bluetooth to anyone, for the price you would expect better quality!!!

Slight problem
I've had three Plantronic headsets. The first two (Legend Series) cracked above the ear. That was the only drawback and I do have to say that they were used and probably abused more than average. I purchased the 5200 series and am sure that it will split in the same place. my only problem is that it will sometimes cut out during a conversation. I did just update the firmware and hope that handles the problem. All in all I will stay with Plantronics because all the other ear pieces I have had did not compare with the quality sound from the 5200

Works Great
I have purchased several of these through PCM for use in the IT industry. We take a lot of calls mostly on android phone's NOTE8 and S8's. The sound quality is good and the battery lasts a standard 8 hour day with an average of 30 or so calls a day ranging from 5 min. to 60 depending on how in depth the problem is. I am lost with out during a day. This product gives me freedom to be away from my desk and still take calls while answering emails and text messages. The ear piece fits well for me and stays put (this a must as I have a mild form or Tourette's that manifests in from of a head jerk that flings lesser secure fitting ear pieces off into the street or sidewalk thus ending there life span) This unit has good water resistance also, it works fine after accidentally being submerged in a rain puddle during a mad dash in a down pour. It switches nicely between music play and phone use when a call comes in and handles taking calls from both my Gear watch and my note8.

Not worth the price
This unit has some serious issues.
The ear piece should adjust vertically to match how tall your ear is.
When on Skype for business the call quality is not good. Lots of digital packet drops.
If you start Google maps the voice won't go on the 5200 unless I make a phone call. This is quite annoying.
My jabra didn't have any of these issues, I lost if in Heathrow airport.
I should have replaced with a jabra.

Was a great headset, now...... not so much.
Had this headset for 6 months now. We started off great together. This thing goes through ear pieces like crazy! Now if my phone isn’t a foot away from my head set I can’t hear a thing, the connection is horrible. I’m sure this is a good company but this product is sub par. Maybe I got a bad one idk. I’m using an IPhone X so I know it’s not the phone. Good luck.

Great features but much of flaws :(
Bought this headset about a 2 month aho. I love the feel when its on my ear and i love how it connects to my devices and the way how it performs in windy situations is just brilliant ...BUT....
1. when you tur on the headset it sometimes says power on talk time 6h etc but for me... 80% of turning on it says NOTHING.. not a word
2. the phone shows headset as connected, but the sound is not going thru headset
3. it keeps disconnect from the phone every day... for a second... but enough to interrupt conversation.
So i really dont know for now... get back to Jabra or its just a bad luck with 5200 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Most comfortable headset!
I've had a couple of BT headsets and this one by far has been the best. The set up to my PC then with Avaya was extremely fast and simple. Connected right away to my iPhone. The comfort level is excellent, even with my glasses. The sound quality from both the PC and iPhone are crystal clear. The battery case that comes with it safely stores and charges the headset. The distance is pretty good as well as I can move around the whole house without signal loss.

1 year in service
This 5200 has performed well for the most part, with excellent audio quality including noise cancellation: warehouse, commercial kitchen, plant floor, wind noise including open window driving.
Why not a fifth star? Durability is one of our biggest factors in determining product value, and one year in service, the rubber at the very top of the unit has cracked. We are going to try another unit to see if this was an aberration, or a drawback of design and materials.

Makes multi tasking much easier
I purchased this item about 4yrs ago when the mic on my cell phone stopped working.
It worked pretty flawlessly as I only had to do a hard reboot once.
I've since had 4 more since then because I lost the other 3 which all worked as advertised.
It's very comfortable & easy to wear.
The only real issue I've had is recently where it will not take a charge anymore. Not sure why but i'll contact customer service & see what I can do.
I use it all day every day. I work in construction so it is definitely tested as far as durability.
I highly recommend it.

Excellent headset but missing only 1 feature
I've used many Plantronics and non-Plantronics headsets though the years and this one has been the best by far. It's comfortable enough to wear all day. The auto charging storage box makes sure it's always topped off and ready to go the distance. It pairs with Mobile & PC soft phones (via BT600) with ease. The only thing it's missing is an office phone base station like the Voyager Legend. If it had an available base station I could replace my current CS500 and wouldn't have to switch back and forth.

GREAT HEADSET!
I actually hate headsets and have been at my current job for 6 years where everyone in my office wears one except myself. I found this when we switched over to a different platform and boy am I glad I purchased it. I have since actually gotten rid of my actual telephone completely and use my headset only. It's as clear as it gets - does not bother me in anyway (I actually VERY often forget I am even wearing it and head home for the night with it on). The battery also lasts a very long time. I would not change this headset for anything. I bought my assistant one as well and got rid of her telephone.

Slight “initial” bulky-feel behind the ear
The only reason I give this product a 4 versus 5-star rating is for slight wearability challenge with glasses. If you have the opportunity to try this product out in the store BEFORE purchase would be beneficial if you wear eye-glasses since it has a slight “initial” bulky-feel, behind the ear, when paired with the temples of glasses.

Finally, fixes my Bluetooth connectivity issues
This is my 3rd or 4th Plantronics headset. I've had a Legend most recently and I've had problems. First, the software on the headset didn't keep pace with the phone updates. Second, I've had interference issues with competing Bluetooth devices, i.e. Bose speaker. Third, talking from my office was a problem...which is a bigger problem when you are a real estate agent and need to talk on your phone. So I saw the Voyager 5200 UC and thought it might cure my ills. Voila! It is so. All of the aforementioned issues are resolved. Love the new charger box too. It is great to be able to just set the headset into the slot for a quick charge. Also love the quality of the sound. I can be in some very noisy environments and no one complains. That's a real plus for me. Comfortable too. I find the Plantronics to be the most comfortable over-the-ear headset I've owned and I've had quite a few. I literally wear this 12 or more hours a day. Only drawback? People think I'm talking to myself.

Excellent audio quality
I've always used the standard wired headphones in my PC. My wife gave me the Voyaguer 5200 UC kit (with the BT600 and case accesory) and I'm sure it was one of my best gifts ever. It basically went beyond my expectations.
I have my headset registered to my iphone and to my pc simultaneously. On my PC I have my Cisco IP Communicator for my office calls. I even tested it with Webex and worked fine.
At the beginning I had a problem with the audio. Basically after placing a call using the IP Communicator it basically disconnected the audio from my iphone. Even if I was able to place calls through my iphone, they didn't hear me or I was not able to hear them. I opened a case with Plantronics support and they told me it was a RMA. But I was not sure of that, so I started investigating and realized that I needed to start the ip communicator as administrator. Then all went perfectly.
At this time all audio is working fine, the Plantronics HUB works very good as well.
The headset is very lite and sometimes I forget I'm wearing it.
In summary, this headset (plus the kit) is something I strongly recommend to anybody.

For the price needs to be much more reliable
I purchased this unit 4 months ago and have had problems with connections ever since. It replaced a Voyager Legend UC that I literally wore out.
I primarily use this headset for Skype for Business calls internationally. None of my peers have problems with their own headsets - just mine. location, time of day, laptop, connection type [laptop bluetooth or USB dongle that came with unit] in all these cases my calls will fade in and out so peers cannot hear me - some issue with the microphone, as I can hear them just fine.
As other reviewers have noted, I found the fit to be uncomfortable, whereas the Voyager Legend UC had a more natural fit around the ear. I had to ditch all the silicone ear pads as they hurt my ears after 10 min of calls. Now I have to constantly adjust the fit as I talk.
The case doubles as a cradle, whereas the Voyager Legend UC had its own cradle. The old cradle (which is not compatible with the Voyager 5200 UC) was a lot easier to use. Easy to place the headset on it, easy to pick it up. The case's cradle part is awkward to use - the headset sticks to it when you try to pick it up. It takes a certain technique to pick it up. Liked the old style much more.
For the price, I expected rock solid connectivity. If a headset cannot maintain a basic wireless connection, all other issues are irrelevant. Cannot recommend purchase for this price level.

Unreliable Audio
Ever since I purchased (1/18/17) the unit has not work properly. I've had at least 6 Plantronics Bluetooth headsets in the past without problem, but this one will not stay connected to phone and the audio randomly drops out. Unit will not always provide voice feedback (such as "Power On", "Volume Maximum", "Phone 1 connected", etc.). I've requested a replacement and if granted hope I just hope the one I have is just a lemon.

I decided to get the 5200 UC after a good experience with the Voyager. I passed it down to someone else in the family. I have challenges getting the devices to bounce between the PC and my phone but otherwise the quality of the sound and the features make this gadget indispensible.

Great headset - probably the best on the market
I used the Voyager Legend UC for several years and was very happy with it but sadly the rubber neck got caught in my keys and ripped. I must mention that both headsets are actually very sturdy and withstand a good amount of use and abuse, even rain, but I pulled too hard on my keychain. Not the headset's fault.
So I bought the Voyager 5200 UC and have been using it for about a year. I am in a good position to review it and compare it to the previous iteration.
In short, I highly recommend it. 5/5
Sound quality is great, voice quality is great, battery life is very acceptable even with heavy use. The range is also great up to 33ft; I do not have a device that can do the longer range so I can't comment on that.
If I were to nitpick, I'd point out that the fit is slightly awkward and takes some getting used to, whereas the Voyager Legend UC had a more natural fit around the ear. However, the Voyager 5200 UC has a built-in USB charging port, and that more than makes up for it. I can travel with the headset without even carrying the case, so that's one less thing to worry about.
Again to nitpick, the case doubles as a cradle, whereas the Voyager Legend UC had its own cradle. The old cradle (which is not compatible with the Voyager 5200 UC) was a lot easier to use. Easy to place the headset on it, easy to pick it up. The case's cradle part is awkward to use - the headset sticks to it when you try to pick it up. It takes a certain technique to pick it up. Maybe the magnet is too strong now.
Apart from that, the headset is stellar. It connects to my phone (Android) and PC without fail, and works flawlessly. The mute button doubles as an 'OK Google' button and puts the power of Google at your fingertips - very useful.
If you own the excellent Voyager Legend UC, you won't find the Voyager 5200 UC to be a major leap except for the USB charging port, but it's still an upgrade you won't regret. If you're in the market for a bluetooth headset, this is probably the best headset in the world right now. I have not tried other headsets, I am simply a happy customer.
The price might be a bit steep for many. I cannot live without my bluetooth headset, so it is well worth the price to me personally.

Worst Plantronics headset I've ever owned.
This headset seems to work well for phone calls, but if streaming audio or video it will start to delay. once the audio delay gets too long it will disconnect from all devices, then reconnect. My Voyageur legend has no issue like this. I was hoping this would be fixed with a firmware update, but I've given up hope. disappointing.

frequently loses bluetooth connection
I am a heavy user (>5 hours per day). I bought this unit because I needed the ability to easily go on and off mute and participate in conference calls in a variety of situations. It works well for that use case when it is able to connect and remain connected to my iphone 7. Often at the beginning of a call it drops the connection and transfers back to the handset five or six times. This is incredibly annoying. Especially annoying when I have placed my phone back in my pocket and am in transit. Not acceptable for the price I paid for this device. If it were not for this defect, I would rate the unit 5 stars easily.

Great headset, with room for improvement
For some years I have been using the Voyager Legend and as the 5200 became available, of course I needed it.
Mostly I am happy, some of the design features, e.g. the volume-control are clear improvements. The fit is basically the same... if you remember to change the ear"plugs" to the right size. It seems the voice-controls have disappeared, this is a little bit annoying as I often wear the headset and forget about it, so when a call is comming, I would like to just say "answer" and be on the call.
The charging case is also a clear improvement if I could just figure out how to place the headset correct to start charging, it works like a lottery... meaning that I loose 99 out of 100 times, but points for the idea.
It seems as if production quality is slightly lower that previous version, the earthing just broke of leaving an interesting view into the impressive microdesign inside.
I have been using it with the BT600 which works just fine and as it is paired with my Voyager Edge, UC8200 and voyager Focus, I clearly appreciate the functionality allowing me to use the same adapter for all headsets, which I use in different situations.
So a lot of points for the good ideas and intentions and a little minus for the lack of quality in build and usability.

Outstanding Piece of Hardware and Software
My father is in his mid 80s and has a difficult hearing my brother in the car. While on a long trip, I decided to give my father a call to get caught up. Midway through the conversation my father asked me if I was on the road because it was late and he know I had a long drive - he said the sound was so crisp and clear he did not realize I was on the road. I was very surprised because from where I was sitting, it was hot and noisy and I was certain my father was having a difficult time hearing me. I told him about the headset and its features - especially the noise cancellation and speech processing. He was stunned and would swear that I was sitting across the table from him - the audio was that crisp and clear. I have a brother that calls our father from the car but the conversations do not go nearly as well. My brother has a birthday coming up and, my father suggested that we get him a headset just like mine so that he can hear and have a meaningful conversation with him. So, congratulations to the hardware and software engineers who designed and built this headset - you did an outstanding job! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Through 20 states and thousands of air miles, many airports, cars and any other form of transportation this unit has survived the abuse and is still running strong. I wear it so much I sometimes forget it is there. Seamless connection to VoIP and Cell and being connected to both at the same time is key for me. I am thinking of getting another to keep in a safe spot in case Plantronics stops making this one.
The only drawback is when you are connected to your cell and on the phone via VoIP through the laptop...when your cell phone beeps, it cuts the sound from the laptop instead of blending them together.

Great Feature - Almost Perfect
Call quality is amazing and all the right features are there. It does have some issues with call waiting from a second device. There is no way to mute the incoming call immediately as to not leave the conversation you are currently having for a short period. The person you are on the phone with gets a loud buzzing noise on their end as well.

Best in Business, With Room for Improvement
Prior to purchasing the Voyager 5200 series, I owned to Voyager Legend, and was very satisfied with the device. The call quality was incredible, and the headset did a very good job of blocking out background noise--which was a must since I live close to a train.
After an unexpected trip to the laundromat, the device was not the same (nor should it be). Though the inbound quality was still very strong, others indicated that they had a hard time hearing me, which prompted the upgrade to the 5200 series.
So far, I have been very impressed. The quality seems to pick up where the Legend series left off, the added microphone enhancing the quality of inbound/outbound communications, while also improving the device's ability to block out background noise.
The device is a bit clunkier than it's predecessor, though still very comfortable. You can go hours without noticing the device in your ears (warning: your friends will make fun of you). The button layout is a significant improvement over prior models, with the volumne buttons on top, and the device switched to a micro-USB charging port, which is more convenient than prior models.
The downside: I am a bit underwhelmed by the BT600 bluetooth adaptor. It works great if you are making calls from the computer, but I was under the impression that there would be more synergies between the mobile device and the adapter. I was recently notified that the mute indicator only works if you are using the computer, which is unfortunate because far more calls are made through mobile devices than PCs. Though the "you are muted" indication is great when you talk on a muted device, it would be nice to have a visual right in front of you.
Plantronics needs to figure out a way to connect the mobile platform to the Bluetooth adapter and I would be happy to modify my rating to a 5 star.

Extremely Durable
I had left headset in my jeans and ran it through the washer and dryer. I pulled it out and prayed that it worked. I had to charge it up first, that was my first test. It charrged up. When it had enough juice I turned the headset on and it paired immediately with my phone and worked!!! Amazing!!!
The only nagging issue I have is that when my phone changes wifi next work the headset pauses(no sound can be heard for 3 seconds) and i miss parts of a conversation

Improvements but at a price
I had a Voyager Legend. I upgraded to the 5200 UC. The headset itself works great. I have to say slightly less comfortable, but you barely notice that. However, the charging base (enclosure) doesn't work. It only charges when I plug it in to a charger using micro-usb. I think I have a defective unit. The connection between the headset and base isn't as solid and fault tolerant as the Legend was. Overall, I like the headset.

Some bugs seriously undermining the quality of the
First the good: nice fit, good build quality and the battery in the charge case is a nice touch. However, the device seems to be seriosly let down by its software. I can receive calls on the headset on my iphone but the second I try and make a call the bluetooth drops out, consistently. Often on Bkype for business calls I can hear but the mic doesn't work. It is a very frustrating device because of this as you're never sure what is working and what is not. So far unimpressed and if I don't see an improvement in the operation I'll be returning it as defective.

It really works
I was able to buy it as a NFR (Not for Resale) for testing purpose, but what shall i say, after some tests i kept it and i am using it for 2 yrs now. I am not an avid wirter of reviews, but i thought, i should give a little insight, after quite a long time of daily usage.
Pros: Well, lightweight, brilliant noise filtering. Being on a crowded train station, and my call partner thinks i am in the office ... :-), easy to handle and the transport case, which also holds a battery for charging the headset twice, giving you a tremendous 18hrs+ talking experience is way good. Also the BT dongle in the box provides high quality BT connections. I am using it in parallel usually with my mobile and my bluetooth DECT phone for my landline. I do not have to switch phones, just pickup the call by telling the headset Yes or Nor, when it asks: "Peter calling answer call? Yes or nor" and this really works. And you can have up to 6 devices paired to it (for me: My three mobiles, my PC, my DECT landline and my laptop) Which two devices it detects first, will be connected. Usually i have my landline's Bluetooth and my business mobile Bluetooth activated, when i leave office, i activate Bluetooth on my private mobile, having both mobiles running on the headset.
Cons: The only con i have is, that the BT connection sometimes drops calls back to the phone. On some days it is working like a charm, and on some days it looses the BT connection by picking up the call. Which is bothering, but i tried everything the supporties told me. Someimes it helps powering of, waiting a little bit and powering on again. It might also help, doing re-pairing. This is a nuisance, therefore it only gets 4 stars. I know other users, which also have the same problem, and they cannot get it fixed either. I am using a Galaxy S8 and a Blackberry classic on it.
Summary:
I love this one, and without that BT connection issue, it would be perfect for me.

Great Headset - Awful Charging Case
It is a shame that such a wonderful headset is marred by a charging case that has a poor, hard to use charging connection. I initially thought that the poor charging connection was due to my carelessness putting the headset on the cradle. But, it happens so frequently and even when I take the time to carefully place it onto the cradle (causing 3 lights to confirm the connection). I will try to put the headset inside the travel box for charging and see if that makes a difference.

2nd Replacement and the case still gives me issues
Charge case to PC or USB wall charger -Charge the case for 90 minutes before docking your headset. Once the case is fully charged, it can recharge your headset twice while on the go before needing connection to a charge cable providing up to 14 hours of talk time."
My case does not charge by itself through USB, UNLESS the headset is docked. I have tried on various PC Windows and Mac computers, but then if I plug it in on a wall charger it does...how can it be that the USB doesn't charge?
To be honest, I have wireless sport headphones BB FIT, and Backbeat Pro 2 headphones - both of which work without issues, but this Voyager line by Plantronics is terrible to say the least. I have had Voyager Legend which need to be changed 3 times now, so I have changed the model to Voyager 5200UC and this has been changed already by your company. That is a total of 5 headsets of the Voyager line and now this one does not work...which will bring me to my 6th headset! Not a good advertisement for quality of product.
I just want the product to work without giving so many issues most of the time, is that too much to ask?

Best Headset Ever
My company ordered this headset for me for use with Skype for Business as well as phone calls. Its ability to switch between the the Bluetooth dongle with my PC and my phone is fantastic and seamless. The audio quality is excellent on the receiving end and on the transmitting end, my colleagues can't tell that I'm not on a landline. I have since recommended this headset to three people who have all purchased it and experienced the same!

I love the desktop charger but it is no longer
I am using Voyager Legend in past and love the desktop charger so much althought the material of the headset is not durable.
After bought this 5200 UC, the portal case also acts as desktop charger is useless to me.
It lost the flexibility as I need to bring the case travel around but at the same time when I work in office, I need take out the case and plug and unplug the cable to the case everytime.
Very troublesome, annoying and user unfriendly.
Very disappointed once again and shouldnt continue to use Plantronic products when my Legend is damage because of poor materials of the rubber. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I wish it performed as well as it looks...
First, I want to say this was my first Plantronics purchase and I had big hopes for this particular product.
I was setting up a new office and wanted something to use as a conference calls audio tool that would allow me to use my hand freely in the meantime. Read a quite a couple of reviews and looked at the presentations and really seemed like a premium product. When it comes to my workplace I tend to not spare any expense (and quite fairly this is one of the more expensive tools out there), so I decided to go for it.
The positives:
- The product does look outstanding and seemed pretty good quality
- Quite a lot of features and connectivity options
- And... that's pretty much it
The Cons:
- The product does look great, but seriously for so much R&D that's gone into this product I wish they really did their research on how this tool wears. I found it far from comfortable to say the least:
First, it is quite fiddly to put the product on - it literally took me min. 20 seconds to get a good fit and by that time the caller usually had hung up
Second, 80% of the cases I tried to insert the eartip I got a horrible pain in my ear
Third, and probably the one I just couldn't tolerate was that the earpiece, as much as it was hard to put in place, kept slipping out of my ear. Which is quite annoying if you are on a 3 hour call and you need to press this in your ear every 20-30 seconds. Honestly, I really wanted this product to work, but with time it just got unbearable
- Connectivity: Pairs, but it's not very reliable. I used the product mostly with my iPhone and tended to not be very reliable. E.g. didn't always pair when I need it (especially when receiving a call and it should have already paired).
Needless to say, on the single most important conference call that I had to take it kept not pairing with my phone and I had to switch to my XXXXX speaker ... Quite frustrating and embarrassing!
The Verdict:
- After using the product for 2 mths, yesterday I just got super annoyed (mixing cases 1,2,3 and 4) and I just smashed the thing... Seriously... EUR[xxx] down the drain, but you can imagine the extend to which this was annoying...
I really wish it worked like they say it should, but it didn't... The product does look the business, but has some serious flaws.
Why the low mark?
Because when you bring to market a product that expensive, you just can't not cover the basic ergonomics. It's like buying a Mercedes S class, but with really, really bad seats (or no seats for that matter) - it just wouldn't work, no matter what gizmos you have in there...
I'll probably see to buy the piece again at some point (I still have my docking station), but something tells me it's a recipe for another massive disappointment...
In the meantime, I will probably look for an alternative headset.

Good with a couple quirks.
I like the headset very much and it worked as a headset well. Volume is great and so is the connection. Quirks are on the older models and the 3200 series you would press and hold the call button to tell the phone to make a call. Now you have to press VPA. Also previously you would press VPA once and could tell it to pair. Now you have to hold down the call button. These changes make no sense to me at all and require a learning curve to retrain myself which is lousy since I still also use a 3200 as well, so I have to go back and forth. This should be effortless from one unit to another. The old way was more intuitive and holding down the VPA button makes the headset move out of place as you can only use 2 fingers unlike holding the call button where you can hold the unit with all of your fingers. Who tested this?.

From the first..
I have purchased the Plantronics Voyager series from the first one marketed to this one. I totally loved each one. They worked as promised and my friends always asked what bluetooth I had. However, there is only one situation that made me have to purchase each next in the series. Unfortunately the earpiece is not Doggie Chew Proof! If they could fix that! My Beagle has chewed each in succession so I'm off to buy another.

I'm dissapointed ;/
I was a happy user for a year. I valued the noise reduction and high-quality sound the most. For the first replacement of the handset. At the moment, I send the headset back to the Netherlands for the fourth time. Three more pieces that I received have a problem with the quality of sound. The sound has a matte reverb in the earpiece. The service told me to change the phone, the computer and even the place where I am staying. None of these activities brought the intended effect. I am already afraid if another handset sent to me will be working.
At the moment, air shipments to the Netherlands are worth more than this device; / [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Works with Ubuntu 16.04
I pre-ordered and got my 5200 with USB when it came available in Finland. I can only say that it is the most superior hands-free ever.
USB led works with Outlook, changes color etc. It also works like a dream with Ubuntu 16.04 what I use mainly at work.
It is very lightweight, sound quality is excellent and I just don't know anything how to make it better.
I totally recommend this everyone who drives a car, uses Microsoft or Linux products like me, also when walking windy and rainy days.
My phone is Sony Xperia X Performance and bluetooth range is also wow.. Also Google Voice commands using handsfree works totally great. I also like the Charge Case and material of it. Both handsfree and Case are not slippery at all. Good materials.
After I received this device I can only think how I managed to work without it before :)

Not all features listed work...
I initially tried to use this with my Polycom vvx 601, using BT as the connection mode. When a call came in and i attempted to answer using the button on the headset it would either do nothing or hang up on the caller. Additionally, if i physically pushed the button on my poly for headset connection, once was done with the call and i pushed the button the headset it would just switch my poly to speaker. I then installed the dongle on the polycom and it worked as it should.
Part of the features listed is Multi-device connectivity. The website says "Work seamlessly across smartphones, laptops, tablets, and Bluetooth-enabled desk phones"... It does not. If i am using my headset on my PC and a call comes in on my Polycom, it will pause my PC media and allow me to answer the call. Perfect! Now, if i using my integrated sound card to listed to media over my pc speakers (not headset) and a call comes in it pauses my media. Again not too big of a deal but if i want to keep listening to my media on the pc speakers while on the call, it keeps pausing the media on my PC when i unpause it. Sometimes in the line of work i do, i am on hold for long periods of time. I should be able to unpause my PC media and be on the phone at the same time. The website description should say "In most cases, Work seamlessly across smartphones, laptops, tablets, and Bluetooth-enabled desk phones" because unless you are using the dongle, it doesnt work seamlessly with my polycom device and according to plantronics support "it can be a compatibility issue, using Built in Bluetooth (on my pc which is an Alienware Aurora R8) is not very reliable, it might be triggering multipoint and that is why this is happening. Unfortunately we can not guarantee they will go back and ford correctly." That's direct from the chat transcript i had with Plantronics support.
The headset was just not all that is described on the website. In addition to the above, at most i get 4.5 hr of talk time, the mute button sometimes wont keep the mic muted, it doesn't always make a connection when charging both in case and even worse in stand up closed case, and the stock eartips are not very comfortable (i bought the CHOCKALOTTA in ear buds, they feel a lot better).

Good sound, Less comfort than desired.
The over-ear piece could be a little more comfortable. The plastic is too hard and there is not enough cushioning or pliability. The sound is good and I like the apparatus other than it is a little hard on the ear for long meetings or all day wear.

Great for open-space office and continues meetings
I bought this a year ago as a replacement for the 3200 model. Best noise cancelling ever even if you are in the open-space office with a lot of people speaking on the same time or on the road with traffic noise. Light enough to forget it and combined with the case that I bout together you never run out of battery. Important also the build quality that has been improved compared with 3200 UC model.
As product is a little bit expensive but what it offers is well spend and explained.
Used together with an iPhone and Windows 10 PC over skype with great success, when need to switch calls.

A very reliable product. The charging case you can get with it really extends the life of battery without having to have it plugged in. As a farmer, the ear piece sits in the ear nicely and doesn’t fall out while under equipment or fixing things. The one thing I don’t like is the volume. It isn’t very loud. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t quiet by any means but I wish it could be louder.

Odd noise interference
My husband and I have had Plantronics earpieces for 10-15 years. All have worked perfectly for many years and well worth the money UNTIL hubby got me the Voyager 5200 thirteen months ago. The unit would pick up odd sounds like banjo playing random notes which cancelled out the voice of person I was talking to. This happened at various places in my house as well as around my pool. I couldn’t find anything about such interference online. I called Plantronics customer service and they instructed me to attach it to another iPhone to check if it did the same thing. I did and IT DID! Plantronics was great to replace it for me. I sent it back and got a new one in about 4 days!! I was so excited that I would have an earpiece again to work in and out back if my house. The new one dose the same thing. Maybe I need a Legend instead? All my older ones were Legends I believe. I would like for someone to explain to me what is happening and how to remedy the situation. No one at Plantronics seems to know. I don’t know if they will take my replacement back or not. If not we’re out over $100 and still no earpiece.

Makes my old phone and VOIP sound great
I have been using the Voyager 5200 UC for over a year for 2 to 3 days a week wearing it for up to 10 hours working from home. It took a few weeks to get used to wearing the headset for extended periods and now I have no issues. I talk up to 2 hours a day [and on standby for up to 10 hours] so I only need to charge once for 2 to 3 days of use. When the UC bluetooth dongle is plugged directly into my laptop, metal trays block the signal so I put the UC blue tooth dongle on a 1.5 metre USB extension cable so that is is up high and not blocked my desk to extend the range significantly. This is not a hack but a necessity I recommend to everyone. Get a good USB cable as I had issues with a cheap one.
After reading negative reviews I thought the headset would be destroyed after the first drop but I am happy to report all good after dropping the headset over 20 times (all unintentional. Maybe I'm lucky.
I have an old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 which still works well after 5 years but sometimes background noise and the over sensitive [non original replacement] microphone make conversations difficult. I connect the Voyager 5200 headset and the improvement in clarity is instant to the point where people often ask: "WHAT DID YOU JUST DO?"
I think the Voyager 5200 UC is a state-of-the-art modern miracle of technology and recommend it to everyone who can wear this style of headset "comfortably".

Very solid, needs better noise cancelling
I have had mine for 2 years and work in an open concept call center. A lot of background noise, but for the most part, it does a decent job of cancelling out most calls, but that is still something that needs work. Very happy with the headset over all. I hate over head, I want in ear so I can play music in my other.

Quality multi use headset
Comfortable, clear and functional headset which you can wear for hours if needed. Very easy connectivity to hardwire phone, soft phone and computer audio. Excellent all around device.

plantronic voyager
I got a plantronic voyager, since the beginning can't used it as i want . Each call, my correspond tolds me that he/she barely hear me, the voice sound is very weak. I end the conversation by disconnecting the voyager. I've done the upgrade. No more sound when speaking. really dispointed by this product

Support team review only
We are experiencing bluetooth connection issues, between the base unit and the headset. Your customer support was fantastic as always - Thank you. To date we have not resolved the duplex communications problem. Trying firmware update, may have to send the unit back to factory - still testing.
