I have a total of 3 Samsung SSD drives, one is super-old, more than 7 years, but working very nicely. I will definitely choose Samsung products again when I need them.

I've had it for a month now and I'm glad to say that it's still performing well. I also have a 980 evo plus 1TB SSD, and with both of them being Samsung it made transferring data incredibly easy. There's also samsung's storage software that makes monitoring both SSDs effortless which I'm grateful for.

I have enough knowledge to understand the processing capabilities of these. I get no issues when I push my system with downloads, data transfers, and game time loads. I rarely see much heat increases too. And I am impatient when it comes to processes in pcs. I do extreme multi-tasking and push my pc to its limits. Even when I upgraded my cpu I just added more multi-tasking. I'd recommend this card without hesitation even for gamers. True gen 5 may not be utilized but gen 5 is still rarely used on boards anyways and you wouldn't be unhappy with the speeds of this card. Specially if you get this on sale. Can't beat price per performance per watt.

I've been through all the nonsense of deleting system files anything else I could find to clear space. I did a little research and quickly found that this was a good economic replacement. with the SSD technology things run much better system loads faster, read writes are much faster as well. I've always had great luck with Samsung products so it was no brainer to purchase this device been completely, 100% satisfied with its performance to value. and install was a breeze.

Large world games require a lot of loading from storage, so I upgraded my hdd to this ssd, and the difference is insane, just this one ssd, and I went from being unable to enjoy my PC, to having zero complaints on performance.

I had a 980 Pro but couldn’t pass up the opportunity for the 990 Pro’s speed boost. The difference on paper may seem negligible but in reality those speeds vary greatly from one motherboard and CPU combo to the next. Mine gave me a whopping 1000MB/s increase in performance. That’s not just a little bump. Transferring to and from it has been unnoticed while in use whereas it used to slow my games or cause stuttering during media playback. The warranty process and length are noteworthy. Samsung makes it simple to register your drive and start the process. My biggest love for this drive is the hardware encryption! Any of my friends and colleagues will tell you I’m a sucker for hardware based encryption. Samsung does it right. With the warranty and encryption make sure you get photos of the barcodes on the sticker.
