They are quick with transferring files and reliable. I've had the note since they first came out and love Samsung products. They stopped using SD cards :-( so this was the next best thing. My Samsung S23 Ultra has been overloaded with photos and videos, plus documents, and I needed to make more room. Then, this flash drive came into my life! It held every single transfer from my phone and I STILL have tons of room left on it. It transferred everything seamlessly and made my life so much easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great 256gb USB 3.2 at a bargain rate EXCELLENT! It does what it says it does. The 400mb says "up to" because few systems will support those speeds. This is the fastest USB drive I've experienced. If you want faster, go to a SDXC UHS-I Card like sandisk extreme.

I work with a lot of large sound systems and they have giant magnets which have ruined my flash drives time and time again. This one holds huge amounts of data as well as having been dropped in a fryer full of catfish nuggets and after drying it out, it still worked like new!!! Actually, I have 7 of them because I want all my personal data backed up in them and the one I got from work in the first place is still going smooth after lots of abuse and rewriting and formatting every other day. No problems ever!!!

I like that I no longer need an OTG adapter to carry around extra memory for my S24 Ultra. I loved the Note 9 with it's OTG adapter included, but products like this one make the need for such additional hardware virtually obsolete. While cheaper options are available I like the rapid read and write speeds, it's so fast it seems like there is no difference between read and write. Will buy again! Five stars

The fact that I had to order this in the first place because samsung is to cheap to put the same speed reader in their phones any longer is utter and complete garbage and a money grab by samsung! The tech is there obviously if you can sell this device for that price and the phones can read it at reasonable speeds using the USB c port they could make it inside the phone and give us back our internal expandable memory. 8k photos and videos take up way to much space to only have 256gb internal storage. This drive is fast compact and quite frankly easy to lose lol. Just recording my best friends wedding and only the vows in 8k everything else in 4k and it took almost 100gb of storage! Combine that with the apps used daily and there is no more space on the phone. This external memory and money grab by samsung is required!

I bought this on sale a couple months ago through Amazon when needing an easy and quick way to plug directly into my Samsung Galaxy movile.phone to back up everything. This truly gave me piece of mind to have this data back up on hand, in addition to cloud backups for various services on my phone. It made it easy to copy all my documents and photos for transfer to another device.

This was tested on 2 Macs, A 14" M1 MBP Pro with 3 Thunderbolt ports and a M2 Mac Studio with TB3 ports and USB-C 10GB/s ports. Results are the same with all port

I used it on firestick for a while before replacing my tv with a android tv which gave me tons of storage. Then this USB saved me when I built my computer. The motherboard didn't have updated drivers for the wifi , so I plugged this USB into my S23 ultra and downloaded the files needed and it fixed everything. Now I keep 2 laying around because I've found so many uses for these .

I don't like to keep a bunch of photos and documents on my phone, not due to internal storage, but due to backup cloud storage and incase my phone becomes obsolete from damage. This fb does not disappoint. It gets the transfers done quickly. It's takes more time getting it out and plugged in than the actual transfer.

There is no delay in accessing data, what I want to see shows up immediately on screen. This drive is awesome fast and re-write, formatting and accessing newly stored data is great and it's compact enough that it does not stick-out, crowding my other components. Kudos Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fragile I purchased this in July and placed it on my Keychain about a month later, being that is is advertised as waterproof and portable that seemed like an intended use. I noticed the cap would come off on my pocket fairly often but hadn't been an issue. What has become an issue is the back plate of the drive came undone and the entire drive came out of the enclosure and thus becoming lost. If you are planning on using this as a portable drive I would recommend super gluing the back plate ahead of time else risk losing the entire drive, along with its contents.

If you're buying this for a Note8 don't waste your money as it will continually tell you it is "charging" and if you're lucky it may actually let you transfer files, which typically it won't let you. After 21-minutes of charging and 8% of my battery power I finally gave up and disconnected it for the third time. There no instructions in my Note8 user manual, in the Flash Drive package, or on Samsung's website to give you any answers to this issue and Samsung Chat has no idea what to tell you either. I know it's only a small expense but they all add up to wasted money if you don't do something about it. Next stop: call tech support and MAYBE they'll have a solution . . however; I'm not counting on it.

Purchased this about a month ago to save and clear up space on my phone from the thousands of pictures and important files I had saved over the years. Both being samsung products took the capatibility worry away and with it being type-c i didn't need a computer or another device as an additional step to the storage which was beyond convenient. Im not the most tech savy person but it was as easy as plug and play can be to get all the information transfered. I also like that its not a bulky space consuming item and is very portable. I put a lot of information on it and still have plenty of space for more.

This one I specifically bought to use as a backup for my phone and it worked very well for that task. My phone is 256GB so I bought this USB-C 256 GB flash drive just to use as a backup wheras the other I use to move large files between my phone and older computer lol. Using Smart Switch (which I absolutely ADORE) I was able to transfer about 80GB of files and the Smart Switch estimate was 1½ hours. On my computer that would take about that long and it's old so that kinda bummed me out. I take my eyes off of it for about 5 minutes and that estimate went down to like 12 minutes lol so the total time was way less than 20 minutes lol. Backup is it's only purpose but since I have a case on my phone that I don't enjoy removing I had to use a USB-C extender so that probably limited a bit of my speed so it prolly would've done it in 10 mins if I didn't use that extender. Either way I love it. Just like ALL of my other Samsung stuff! My new Samsung TV is downright amazing but that's another review...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable, fast transfer and beautiful design. Love the design, how portable it is and the most i love is how fast i transfer media to it. I have a few i use for making backups of my sd from my camera and other fews im always buying to deliver final edits videos and/or photos to my clients. Also i have one connected to my blink at home and its working 24/7 for almost a year and is working amazing.
