Excellent picture!
Bought the s90d 77 inch tv a few weeks ago. My old led tv from another brand power stopped working. I have a unique situation that my house had a built in for tv in corner of living room, so 77 was almost a exact fit. Picture quality and sound are fantastic, i also bought a s80cb/za slim soundbar to bring up sound/bass and be able to use Q Symphony. Tv by itself sound quality is very good, I just wanted more. Getting used to menu and smart tv functions were only thing I had to get used to, coming from all android tv in past.

Power board died in 3 months
Ordered the 77in on August 27, 2024. Was loving the TV until it died on me. Went out of town for a week for Thanksgiving and when I returned home the TV would not power on. I tried all the steps to troubleshoot it. The TV was working perfectly fine before I left. I believe the power board is out due to the red light on the tv not turning on at all and from what I read online from other owners. Very disappointed as I have owned OLED tvs for the past 8 years (Sony/LG) and this is the first time I ever had any type of issue like this. I was looking forward to getting home to play on my ps5 pro and watch some 4k movies but this killed my plans. Picture quality is amazing but not sure about the lifespan of the TV which is worrisome. I will update my review once I figure this out with Samsung. Luckily I ordered the warranty
Update: I will never order anything directly through Samsung. Now waiting to see if they can fix a faulty tv I just ordered 3 months ago. They should be sending me a new tv overnight and taking this one back. This is ridiculous. I have a very busy schedule and do not have time to wait around like this. I never had to deal with this when I owned a sony a80j or my LG oled. I should have ordered through Bestbuy. They would have sent me a new TV already and picked up the broken one. I also paid for the samsung warranty. This is beyond frustrating and the service sucks for such a big corporate company like this.
Do not order this tv through Samsung. If it breaks you will have to go through their service thing and wait a week or two to see if they can repair it. If you buy this tv from Costco or Best buy make sure you get their warranty so you can go directly through them. This is the biggest joke ever with dealing with a company this size. Its like dealing with a bunch of amateurs. Really frustrating!!!!!!! They send you something that breaks then want you to wait around. I do not want a refurbished tv. I want a refund so I can go buy it at best buy with their warranty

This tv is great however we bought a Vizio sound bar and cannot get the mouth movements of the individuals to match up to the sound...any suggestions? your help is greatly appreciated!

In less than 60 days, the TV died no power no LED light contacted Samsung support curious to see how this goes. All I have read states that this is a common problem with this model TV so if buying beware of the problem, but when the TV was working. It was amazing the picture Absolutely stunning Hopefully Samsung will come through on making this right

TV was delivered damaged and reported immediately. Even paying extra for Samsung Care, any replacement was denied and my report was deleted. Samsung has refused all attempts to make this right.

Decline in Quality
I’ve always had good luck with Samsung TVs, but I bought a 77 inch S90D and have had nothing but problems. It took a month to deliver it and then it stopped working completely within a month of that. It another month to send a team to look at it to confirm it was dead and then another three weeks to have a replacement sent. When it came, it had two cracks in the screen and the team had to return it. We bought The TV in November and we’re still waiting for a replacement. Beyond this, the remote control is ridiculously small and does not have the same functionality. I’m not sure what Samsung has done, but the quality is not the same.

Absolutely an amazing TV. Picture quality is superb. Works seamlessly with my AppleTV device. Replaced a Sony Bravia TV, which also had a great picture, but the S90D blows it out of the water. QD-OLED is what I specifically purchased and highly recommend this TV. FYI...I do not game at all so cannot comment there but the refresh rate is very high so should be zero problems there. Movies, streaming and sports are all perfect! Best TV the money. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Picture Poor Reliability And Service
This is a replacement from my local retailer after the original TV went dark after 3 weeks. The TV has an exceptional picture and is reasonably priced, especially when on sale, but reliability is a serious issue. Samsung customer service is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. If you insist on buying do so only from an authorized dealer you trust and get an extended warranty. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on a good unit it will feel like you hit the jackpot because no TV in this price range performs any better.

as the title says, and samsung customer support is an oxymoron. I have bought a lot of items from samsung and I feel like Ive put up with a lot for good prices. I feel like Ive reached the end of my rope.

DON'T BUY IT
DON'T BUY IT! ZERO stars. After 1 month, the TV did not power on (like many other reviews here) and because I live in a "remote" location, they can't find an authorized tech to come out to repair it. I paid $3000 at Best Buy in total for the TV, protection, bracket, install, delivery and taxes and they are only refunding $2300 (TV and Taxes) so I have to EAT the rest b/c I'm under the mfr warranty and they only warranty the TV and taxes, not the other stuff to get the TV to the house or on the wall. Interesting-- they are sending out a truck to pick up the bad TV but not a tech and I will only get the refund AFTER the truck picks it up 7-10 days later. This $700 financial loss is in ADDITION to the aggravating and frustrating hours of calls, texts and emails with Samsung case managers that send bible long texts vs. emails and I've been doing this without a working TV for 3 weeks now. This is the last Samsung purchase for me and hope to prevent you from the same loss. Bye, Samsung.

Defective Product with Terrible Customer Service
I was one of the Samsung products' fans for the past 15 plus years until recently after my painful experience with Samsung. A couple months ago, I bought a brand-new high-end Samsung OLED TV from Samsung website online. After several delays the delivered TV was defective and non-operational upon the arrival. The follow up with customer service for replacement was a nightmare and terribly stressful. After another several weeks of waiting and over two dozen phone/email communications with customer service, the replacement TV was never delivered on time, and after almost two months of waiting and frustrations, I finally had to cancel my order. During this ordeal, I had to wait at home a couple times all day for the delivery, but they never delivered the TV as they had confirmed the delivery dates by their emails (total waste of my time). I will NEVER buy anymore Samsung products from Samsung website. It is a waste of time and money. All calls for customer service are routed to overseas to various countries, ending up talking to so many different people, and no one follows up with your issue other than receiving non-sense apology emails. The customer service support is awful and almost non-existent. Their delivery company is not any better either. I will NEVER buy from Samsung website. My experience with Samsung was extremely stressful, frustrating, unprofessional, and totally unacceptable. Their product and service sucks!!

S90D Great Picture
Had the S90D for a month. Picture is great. Colors very vibrant. Upscaling for 1960’s era tv shows is pretty good for a large tv. Sound is ok. If you are big into sound then invest in a sound bar. The best things are really the blackest blacks and the deep vibrant colors.

Slow Customer Help
Unfortunately my tv has quit turning on one month after I received it. Customer help has been extremely slow at resolving the issue. They have decided to replace the tv however it has taken over 60 days to come to this resolution. Longer than I owned the tv. Very disappointed at this point.

Great picture - however power supply issues
First let me say that I'm a Samsung TV fan (bought my first one about 20 yrs ago and they've been bullet proof) - I believe that they are best in market as far as performance and quality - this set has affirmed one of those however left me a bit lacking in one, thus only 3 stars. As far as performance and picture quality I believe this is the top set in the market at this price range. The picture is absolutely stunning. As far as functionality if your used to the Tizen interface it all works the same - one real positive is that the remote auto recognized the items I have (Roku, fire TV , .. etc.) and program the remote to control - this works flawlessly every time. There is a bit of delay in going to the last app on power up but I've yet to have it fail to on this set (not so with others). Set up could not have been easier and it functions really well with the Samsung line of soundbars
So now for the 2-star drawback and the only thing that keeps it from being a 5 star product - that is the power supply issues - the first set I had after 2 weeks developed a power supply issue that basically shut down the tv and tripped the circuit breaker in my home. It was within the return window at the big box store so I chalked it up to a one-off issue and returned it for a new set. I bit of a pain for a set this size but that's what I did - fast forward 2 and half months and the new set that I have does the same thing again - this time I use Smasung tech support and with about a week someone is onsite repairing the TV. I'm know a month or so out form that repair and everything is still working but just hope there's not an inherent design issues casing this problem. After review of only line reviews, I see other have had this issue but doesn't seem to be widespread so maybe I'm just the unlucky one with two of them :-(.
So all of that said I still recommend Samsung TVs to friends that are in the market however do warn them about this line.

The technicians were on time and very friendly They took care to remove the TV from the wall and replace the power supply. They installed the TV back on the wall and advised us to plug the tv into a surge protector. They were done within an hour.

Not Working
The TV was installed in December 2025. This morning it would not turn on. The power source outlet and breaker are in working order. I called PC Richard for service and the earliest they can visit is 2/12. I am hosting a party to watch the Superbowl this Sunday 2/9.

DO NOT BUY THIS TV OR FROM SAMSUNG IN GENERAL.
TV broke 2 weeks with screen flickering and the panel was replaced a week a later.
After about 2 more weeks the TV broke again. This time the whole panel went out. We set up a repair however the TV was unable to be fixed at the time. Another 2 weeks of going in circle with customer service, and sending a picture each time. They have no organization in their customer service. 2 months into owning this TV and its been broken 7 of the weeks with no repair in sight. Just aweful service. Save you time, money, and sanity. Samsung is the worst brand available for TV's right now. Also the generic message they leave on these messages may fill you with hope that they are responsive. They are not, they take you back to the same endless loop.

The technicians were friendly and professional. They took the TV down with care and replaced the power supply with in just a few minutes. They also hung the TV back up on the wall with care. My husband was very impressed with the speed they completed the repair. The TV works great again.

Good as long as the circuit board doesn’t blow
Purchased this on Jan 10, delivered a week-ish later. I had it installed and on the wall plugged into a surge protector (tap on) and a tapon energy monitor plug.
Bad first: 2 weeks on the wall, I wake up to a dead tv. I unplugged it, tried a different electric socket, different power cord, nothing. Energy from the tv spiked, not to, per the energy plug. Reddit shows others have this issue, something with a circuit board and quality control. Luckily, the place I purchased from redelivered a new one and took back the dead one. Hoping it was a one off.
Now The good: The tv is crystal clear. Everything jumps out on this tv and no blur, works well in a room with big windows. Added a Samsung soundbar Q990C. Syncs up nice. Gaming and atmosphere 4k movies are phenomenal.
Provided this 2nd one lasts longer than 2-3 weeks, I’ll give it a 5 star review.

After 4 months the entire mother board had to be replaced. Mind you this purchase was to replace an 85” QN model that had lines appear in the LED screen after only 2 years of ownership. All of our appliances and tvs are Samsung. Never had a longevity issues with models outside of the QN model. Let’s get it together Samsung…replacements on $5000+ tvs that are 3 years old is unacceptable.

We purchased our 77" OLED Samsung TV from Amazon. Don't make that mistake if you're looking at this TV. I arrived damaged and had to be returned, not an easy task. We continued to get billed for this tv, after it was returned for 3 months. Called Amazon on credit 4 times to get a credit. Awful experience, over 2 hours wasted on the phone just to get to the right person to approve the credit. Never again!
We have had the TV for 2 months and now it won't turn on. Service is coming to replace the power source, hopefully that will fix it. We are required to take it down to repair, it weights over 130 lbs and my wife and I need to have it removed from the wall. I don't think I would recommend this TV to anyone at this point.

Great; just 1 problem
TV is great outside of one major problem I am having. I am having a huge problem with frame stutter on the S90D . It’s most noticeable while watching sports. Especially after a replay where the frame rate goes down then back to normal after the replay. Typically it will recover to the main frame rate but last night while watching football it would not go away. It was stuck at what seemed like 24hz or lower refresh rate when it should be at 60hz. A restart of the TV fixed it for a short time. I have tried other smart devices connected with top of the line HDMI cables. Internet is not an issue as I am hardwired to fiber. I played with all settings. Motion on/off (I leave clarity settings off by default). I tested match frame rate/range in smart device settings and nothing. Also tried apps from the Samsung hub. In my research I have found that this is a known issue with this TV. I am on the latest firmware but also observed this issue in past versions. Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a way to fix it?

Best TV I’ve ever had!
I’ve had this TV a couple of weeks. I am very impressed with the depth of color, and the blackest black I’ve ever seen. I had read that OLED wasn’t very bright. This S90D has no problem with brightness. I watch in Standard picture mode with three big windows open in the same room, and two more windows open in the adjacent room. I’ve seen no issues with lacking brightness. It’s just a beautiful picture. The up scaling seems good, although I have nothing to compare it to. Old shows look good. Better than my old TV which is a 2015 Samsung 1080p 47”. The sound is adequate. If you want a theater experience I think a sound bar is a must. But for me it’s totally fine. I like that it has an equalizer to adjust the sound so I hear better. I’m older and have a little hearing loss.
Overall, I love the S90D. A beautiful picture whether in a light room or a dark room. Amazing colors!

I bought a 77" OLED TV in December 2024, finally almost after 3 weeks it was delivered to my house. The TV was defective, there was sound but no screen light. After troubleshooting by Samsung technical guyse they told me the TV is defective and they will replace it. I waited another 3 weeks for replacement but no replacement and finally I had to cancel my order and get refund almost after 2 months of terrible customer service and terrible product. I will never buy Samsung again and will never buy directly from samsung website. It has terrible experience with terrible customer service, there is no one to talk to in US and all calls are routed overseas depending who you talk to. Too many emails but no one to follow up on your problem. It was very painful and stressful experience for me. Again, I will NEVER buy from samsung website again.

Great TV, terrible stand
Near perfect tv. I upgraded from a 55” LG OLED and this tv blows it out of the water with picture quality. My only gripe is the tv stand… it’s a center stand made of flimsy plastic… for a 77” it should at least be a wide stand.

True Picture Quality
Waited for a while to buy this tv. Glad I finally did. The picture is amazing and haven't had any issues since purchasing this in November. One note is the remote os tiny so don't set anywhere it could disappear. Where my tv is hung it does receive a little bit of morning light and I almost bought the S95d due this fact but this one actually does a great job. I would recommend this to anyone and I have several Samsung products that have been nothing short of dependable including two other Samsung televisions.

Want a 77” dead weight
Bought this tv 2.5 months ago and it won’t turn on. Thought it was the remote but the tv won’t turn on manually either. I spent this much for a tv and it already doesn’t work. How much did Samsung pay all of the “professional” reviewers to give this piece of junk a great rating?

Do not buy this TV, it will break!
I’m having a terrible experience with Samsung and this TV. We’ve bought the same model twice in the last six months. The first one was purchased from Best Buy and stopped powering on after about two months. We were able to return it, we bought a replacement from RC Willey in November of 2024. February of 2025 it stoped turning on, (exact same issue as the previous purchase) and I am not able to get service scheduled from Samsung through their glitchy online account.

I love this TV
I researched quite a while for a new TV. My old Samsung was 14 years old and a 55”. I’ve contemplated for years on a new one and I was going to get a 65”. I finally decided to go big and wanted a 75”. I had picked out a new Samsung online, but went to Best Buy to see it in person. Well, my wife fell in love with the OLed and so did I. I wasn’t expecting to spend the extra money, but I’m so glad I did. I was nervous based off other reviews, but I pulled the trigger anyway, and I’d do it again. The setup was super easy, the menu is user friendly. The picture quality is top notch. Absolutely no complaints. This thing is heavy though! Make sure you have a very strong helper.

100% HAPPY WITH THE INVESTMENT, AND LOVE THE SOUND
i BOUGHT THIS TV ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO AND LOVE THE TV, COLOR, AND THE PICTURE IS PERFECT. I HAVE 2 PROBLEMS WITH THE TV LISTED BELOW.
1. THE HAND HELD REMOTE IS WAY TO SMALL,,DIFFICULT TO USE THE MINITURE CONTROLS. IT IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO LAST 2 YEARS. IT WILL BREAK SOON; 2. SOUND CHANGES TO DVR AND IT IS A PAIN TO KEEP THE SOUND ON MY TOP DOLLAR SOUND BAR.

I bought this almost a month ago. The TV speakers stopped working in less than a week. Tech support asked me to reset the tv I did. They worked for another week. Then stopped working. Waiting for the tv to be replaced.

Awesome colors and sound!
I purchased this a month ago and I am pleased with the purchase. I had for a long time admired the picture quality of Samsung tv's at friends homes and in public locations. The color quality is excellent and the addition of the Samsung sound bar brings a theatre like experience to my home.

TV bricked in 19 days, only had 15 to return.
The TV died 19 days after receiving it. Power light not on, remote doesn''t work, Alexa says it's offline, smarter things app says it's offline. Worked fine last night. Tested multiple outlets. The replacement warrant only covers the first 15 days of ownership. Extremely annoyed I spent 2500+ on this and a soundbar and it didn't even last a month.

Everything went great with delivery and installation. Payment options were perfect. First start up of the TV was magical. But about 4 days in we noticed how dim the tv looked. Now I had a feeling this was going to be the case, I should have gotten a device to measure brightness to have proof. Yes I know all the settings to get all the brightness. Colors were so vibrant at first it was amazing. It’s funny how both me and my wife noticed immediately how it downgraded in colors and brightness. It’s almost like we had a free 4 day trail for color and brightness. Seems like a non OLED TV just like what he had before. It’s still a good TV just because of 120fps at 4K. Not worth the $2700 dollars at this point.

Great screen
Got this a month ago. Pretty solid. App screen is a pain to deal with so I’ll have to look more into it, but the picture is high quality. Also goes to sleep mode really quick but I’m happy with my purchase. Would recommend.

Horrible experience with product and Cust Svc.
Bought in August 2024. In November it shut off all by itself. Dead no power light. Same as other reviews on here.
Contacted Samsung, Never had an option to speak with a human. Waited days for a service tech to come. They came and said they had to order part. Waited 10 days or so for part. rescheduled appointment for install days later. Got call from samsung stating it was unrepairable. They would give me credit of $2600. (I paid $3016 after taxes) Long story short, after several conversations and hassles with sending them paperwork, (receipt, bill of lading after their trucking company picks the old one up and leaves it after waiting another 7 days) with customer service about the credit, I am now waiting 3 to 5 days for a credit that is only good on the samsung website, and delivery is expected to take 10 days after I order it, which may or may not be at my expense.
I ordered expensive Sunday ticket for NFL football, and have missed much of the season and counting. I paid for 4k content subscription as well. Thanksgiving and Christmas have both come and gone. New year's day will pass & Samsung does not care. Period. It has been Horrendously difficult process with many hoops and delays. I am 6 weeks into this with no resolution.

Great TV Horrible IR sensor location
We use the TV for watching shows but also for watching our movies. It does a great job at both. I wish it wouldn't dim on say hockey.
However the IR sensor placement is horrible. The older Samsung TV's we have the sensor is on the bottom right towards the front of the TV and have never had an issue using an IR remote (DirecTv) however with the new TV the IR sensor is in the very middle and further back so unless the remote is lower then the TV and closer to the middle it can have issues controlling the volume and turning the TV on and off.

I had it for less than a week and it shut off mid watch and wont turn back on. Screen went black and now I cant turn it on or do anything and am waiting for new TV. Less than a week and it already died too much money for a horrible product.

Stopped Working in 1 Week
We received the TV on a Thursday. I mounted it on the wall on Saturday. One week later on Saturday as I was just ready to watch my favorite college football team in the first round of the new playoff format the TV screen suddenly went black. I scrambled to get the football game on another TV and then realized that not only was the screen black and there was no power to the TV, but it had also tripped the circuit breaker for the outlet it was plugged into. I reset the circuit breaker in my circuit breaker panel box. Now the TV will not turn on. It is completely dead. I had to put my old 65" TV back on the entertainment center in front of the dead TV. I then had to take time having multiple conversations with numerous Samsung customer service representatives. EVERYONE THAT I SPOKE WITH WAS DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. I now have to get help to un-mount the TV and prepare it for return shipping. This is a time-consuming process that I cannot do alone and should not have to do. I am not happy. It is bad enough that this major purchase broke in one week. It is even worse when you can hardly understand the person that is supposed to correct the problem. This has been a terrible experience.

This product is crap.
I bought this Samsung 77 inch TV in July of 2024. It worked great until it didn’t. It won’t turn on now. Even though it’s under warranty Samsung repair service won’t repair it unless I remove it from the wall mount. I am a 67 year old woman who lives alone. it is impossible for me to take down theTV it’s too heavy. . It’s not my fault the Tv doesn’t work. Now I have to involve other people to help me. Now it’s just a black box hanging on my wall. I wish I never would have bought this TV. I will never buy another Samsung product.

Samsung 77 “ class OLED S90D television died within two weeks of purchase
Took it out of the box as a Christmas present for my family and it worked great -
One day - just watching TV and the screen turned black as if someone shut it off.
No power at all to the television - brand new- less than a month owning and using it and it was completely and suddenly dead.
Called the store of purchase and was told these televisions are prone to having a fuse break and the screens do in fact just black out and the TV dies unpredictably.
The store is sending me another exact television to replace the one that died suddenly but
I do not want it - I am forced to take the replacement and see how long that one will last.
Horribly disappointed. Have been a Samsung customer for many years and owned a previous Samsung TV that lasted over 10 years. I do not know what they are producing now- but the quality is below standards.

Dead After Only 2 Months

I purchased this tv based on great ratings from numerous online review websites.
The tv was fantastic until it died after only 2 months (won’t turn on)
I’m in the process of getting a replacement from Samsung; however, the TV died on 12/15/24 and the estimated date for the replacement to be in my home is 02/01/25, perhaps longer.
I’ve now read the reviews posted on the websites of various retailers and it appears that this type of failure occurs frequently with the S90D

My worst Tv ever, dead after 2 weeks
Bought from B3$t By3 in Dec 2024 worked for two weeks and Christmas Day it stopped working. Same power issue as everyone else. Luckily I had bought it during BBs extended return season, otherwise I would have to go through the fiasco of not having a tv for a few weeks, getting a new tv, it breaking again, waiting again. Samsung TV business has lost a 3 decade customer. My last samsung was UN55JS8500, also a premium TV and that wasn't designed well and has a known diffuser issue that melts the TV. I just took apart that TV and can see how it is melted. Shame on Samsung and its leaders for shoddy engineering since at least 2016 thinking word will not get around. Looks like you are about to become the next Zenith. Congrats to the executives and senior engineers for making lots of money while tanking the company.

Great TV and picture but i do have a couple of issues.
The feet / stand is very cheap and does not come with any screws to fasten in place. they are just cheap plastic pegs that are supposed to lock in place.
Was also very difficult to get the tv to work with Sonos.
Other than that i'm happy with it.

Great tv but sound issues
I bought this S90D 77inch the Sunday before Xmas 24 price was a little higher then I wanted to pay but the pic and specs were worth the extra $$. But less then 24hrs in I started having sound issues, it sounded like my tv was under water. Only way to solve the issues was to do a reset of the tv. This happened multi times in a few days. I contacted Best Buy and they sent me a new S90D. New tv has been up for 1 day so far great let’s see what happens. With that being said tv is awesome and worth it. Let’s hope no more sound issues or I will go with a different model. Iam giving it 3 stars but could go to 5 if this tv has no sounds issues.

Broke after two months.
The rating is based on the issue I had after only two months of use. The TV would not power on. I verified before I ever contacted Samsung that the power to the TV was fine, I also did all the things that the website says to do; unplug, then plug back in and try, use the tv on/off button, etc. Nothing worked. I then contacted Samsung, and for over TWO hours they had me do the same things. In the middle of this, they disconnected me with who I started with, reconnected me with someone else, then asked me to do all of the same things again. I also had to send a picture of the tv’s on/off button to apparently prove I was doing it correctly. Finally, I was told they would contact a repair company, who would then contact me to set up an appointment. This was on the weekend, and the email I received from Samsung said the repair company would try to call me three times, on three separate occasions. I called them on Monday to expedite the process. They set up the appointment for that Friday, and said they would contact me between 0900 and1300 with an arrival time. I was then asked if it was wall mounted, which it is, and then told that I had to take it off the wall because the technician is not allowed to do it, or even help. So I had to get people to help get it off the wall and laid on the floor. The technician arrived, took the back off and started the repair which was replacement of the main power board. I asked him if this is a common problem with this tv, and he said no. So I asked him if he had ever replaced the power board on any, and he said he had on one that was a couple weeks old, had mine, and then had another one to do the same day. You can read into that as you wish. After the repair I then had to get my help together to get it back on the wall and everything reconnected. Tv is fixed, has worked fine since, and it does have a wonderful picture.

DON'T BUY on Samsung website, they LOST MY TV!
I recently placed an order. I was able to pick the delivery date, which was a week out. I took off work to be able to accept the delivery and so that way I won't have a 77 inch TV sitting on my door step potentially being stolen. ON the day of the delivery, I received an email saying that my TV delivery was being delayed. I contacted the delivery company (RXO) and they stated that Samsung never sent out the TV. I hung up and contacted samsung and they said they sent out the TV to RXO's distribution center 3 days ago. Now I'm going back and forth on where the TV is, they told me to give them 2 days to locate the TV and now it's been 4 days and they still don't know where my TV is!!! I've paid over 2k for this TV and they can't locate the product. I told them I want to cancel and samsung said they can't cancel the order because it's already been shipped out on their end! Crazy thing is I took off work so my TV wouldn't get stolen , I guess that was the least of my worries! I've been going back and forth with RXO and Samsung for 4 days and they keep blaming one another. I don't care whose fault it is! I just want a dam update on when I'm getting my TV! It's been almost 2 weeks now and I don't know anything!! Then all samsung customer service agents are Asians and don't 100% understand! This is so frustrating, never buying through them again! Save you some time and buy at BestBuy or any local electronic store!

Have not received after ordering over 1 month ago
1. I purchased this TV from Samsung 11/26/24 and have still not received it as of Friday 1/10/25
2. It was received by RXO on 12/4 (In a warehouse in the town I live in) and scheduled for delivery 12/9.
3. RXO texted me that the delivery can't be made on 12/9 and that they haven't received it yet.
4. No one reaches out to me so I call RXO several times and they finally tell me they lost it and will reschedule when they find it.
5. I call a few times before Christmas and they still don't know where it is but it hasn't been lost long enough for them to ask Samsung to send another.
6. RXO texts me 12/24 and we schedule the delivery for 12/27, but they text me on 12/26 saying it has been delayed and I must reschedule by using their site or calling.
7. I schedule it for 12/28 and receive a confirmation text that the delivery is CONFIRMED, but they don't show up and don't call me to reschedule. no call, no show.
8. I call RXO and we schedule delivery for 1/3, but text me on 1/2 they can't deliver it and to reschedule again.
9. Call RXO and schedule delivery for 1/4, but they text me that day saying they can't deliver that day either and to call and reschedule again.
10. I rescheduled again for Friday 1/10 and again receive a confirmation on 1/9 that the TV will be delivered on 1/10 only to be canceled again on day of delivery.
I've called and used the live chat feature with Samsung and RXO several times throughout this ordeal and they keep telling me it's been escalated to management, and when I speak to management they say the will stick with the issue until it's delivered but I never hear from them again, and each time I get a new manager that says the same thing. I have no confidence that the people that answer the phone or live chat can reach out to the warehouse to actually find out what is going on. The warehouse is in the same town where I live so it shouldn't be this difficult.

I waited until today to write this review of this TV for a specific reason to be shared below.
This comment has NOTHING to do with the seller or the actual delivery and setup. Both of those parts of the purchase went without issue or headache.
This TV was delivered December 9th and on Sunday December 29th the TV would not turn on.
I first thought it might be the remote not getting enough solar charge, but that didn't seem to fix the issue after letting the remote set in light for a while. Not a reason I am giving this TV a score of 1 star, but there should be a way to see if the remote is getting enough power or is charging at all. I find it a bit ridiculous that there isn't a couple of LED lights on the remote to just let you know where you are in the charging aspect.
I then did what any normal person would do and went to the Samsung website for assistance. The Samsung website was so useless that I don't even understand why they have the help section.
No red light?
Try a different plug>You think!? It worked yesterday, but sure.
Push the home button on the remote>Okay, but I don't know if the remote is charged, but nothing changed
Hit the power button on the TV to see if that fixes the issue> Okay, where is the power button? Since I have no manual and couldn't seem to find it on the website, I could only find "For newer models it is usually on the right side of the TV" > Only HDMI/USB ports on the right side of the TV.
Out of options, I went to chat and got the automated chat that took me through the same steps. I get that for people who didn't read the help section. Then I requested to chat with someone, that person just wrote down what the help and automated chat stated before. I had to provide the SN of the device prior to them proceeding. When we got to the power button part, I kept saying there isn't a power button over here. Then I would ask through chat, you have my model, where is the power button? I just received the can answer of it being on the right side of the TV. I asked to escalate it to someone who wasn't going to provide me the canned answers and could actually help, I was directed to the Samsung in house support.
I decided that trying chat again was not going to be useful. I then thought about returning the TV and purchasing something else, but got a good deal on this one for Black Friday. I decided to move forward with the in home support. The first day that they had available was Friday Jan 3rd, meaning 20 days of owning the TV it goes out and I have to wait 6 days with a broken TV equaling a 76% uptime on a brand NEW TV!
I went back and started watching my 14 year old Panasonic Plasma TV ( I know old, but it was working) until the repairman arrived. I made sure that it was accessible per their instructions. When HE arrived to work on it, he informed me that I had to HELP him take it off the stand, place it on the floor for him to work on it. I asked him if he had a blanket for the floor and he seemed shocked that I wasn't going to provide my blanket for him to repair my device. He went and got one from the truck after he remember he had one. We put it down for him to repair the device and put it back together and back on the stand. He left in a rush that he didn't realize that he had left a part in the back of the TV. We had to do the same steps again to get HIS part out of the back of my TV! Before him leaving I asked if he had anything to clean the screen and he said no and left.
This got me starting to think where else do we accept this type of behavior? Would anyone go to get an oil change and need to help the mechanic drain the oil, because he couldn't? Then when getting back in the vehicle it is covered in oil and they just skip away! What about the people at home that cannot assist the in home support to get the TV down and on the floor? Do they just cancel and say, that is on you to get it on the floor, because that isn't the instructions provided prior to them coming out to fix a BRAND NEW TV!
My impression?
The TV is Junk
The Chat/help is worthless
In Home support is slow and lacking forethought
BTW the power button is in the middle of the TV at the bottom...

Broke within one month. Samsung repair process took 2 weeks to repair and the the repair broke within a week and a half. currently have been passed around and hung up on tier 2 support with no repair scheduled. Samsung customer service has been a nightmare. For a high priced TV look else where.

So far having this TV has been a nightmare. I bought it 2 weeks ago and have only been able to use it for one day. It didnt even take 24 hours once i set it up for the tv to break. The screen turned completely black while watching tv and only the sound would work. I contacted samsung about this and waited a few days for them to have someone come take a look at it. When they came they told me they needed to order a piece to fix it. So i waited a few more days for them to come with the piece, only for them to come back and put that piece in and find out the tv still doesnt work. Now i have to wait almost another week for them to order a different piece and hope that they know what they are talking about and they actually fix my tv this time.. Not to mention from the samsung support people coming out and trying to fix it twice now I have finger prints all over my tv. I would have never expected this while trying to buy something expensive that i was planning on enjoying but now I am just here waiting impatiently…. Ughhh

Great Picture and sound. My only concern is that my original tv quit turning on completely after 2 weeks. Best Buy was great to work with and replaced the defective tv. I’ve been a Samsung AV customer for 20 years and have always had amazing products so this was a surprise.

Power failure twice now
Purchased this tv new from Best Buy on August 15, 2024. it died on October 15. I purchased the protection plan from BB and they replaced it with a new one as it was just within 60 days. Replacement arrived on Oct 31, and it just died last night Jan 17. BB says I have to deal with Samsung now that its still under the manufacturer's 1 year warranty, thanks BB. I contacted Samsung today and they are sending a local repair company to replace the boards/power supply. I wish I had done my research the first time and just got a refund from BB after the first failure. Now I have to have it repaired at least twice before Samsung will issue a refund or, more likely, send me a replacement. At this point, I just want my money back as its obvious this model has issues as evident by the many reviews here on Samsung's site, Best Buy's site, and Reddit. Buyer beware, this model has major issues and Samsung knows it but their customer support will deny it.

Terrible faulty TV
I bought these OLED TV back on October 31st 2024 and two weeks ago around December 27th 2024 it completely fused out ! It no longer works ! I can’t believe I spent $2500 on such a useless TV.
Even trying to get a technician out to fix it is a hassle , no one has responded or reached out

They took 2 months to deliver the TV. RXO their shipping partner for last mile delivery is the worst company to work with. They rescheduled at the last minute twice and I had to take off work 3 times as the delivery windows are all day. I asked to deliver first thing in the morning but they ended up finally delivering at 5pm. Do not buy from Samsung online. Lots of advertisements outside of the shipping issues. TV itself looks good.

Terrible Experience
I ordered this tv 77" directly from samsung. It was delivered Dec 4. It was great until Dec 13 when it failed and would not come on again. I believe it was caused by a one connect failure. Then things really got bad. I call samsung to start a repair/replace ticket. Around a week later I recieve an email saying my repair ticket was canceled. I call them "we don't know why it was canceled whoever did it should have made a note" so start up process again. Around a week later " there's no one in your area capable of repairing the tv" i knew this would be the case but it's "the first step in the process" so now we go to replace. A week later " when we made the replacement order it showed stock, but when we went to fulfill order no stock" so now we go to refund. So first they tried to offer me store credit in an amount that was less than I paid, and less than the current price of the tv. I said no thanks then I was offered the amount I actually paid but It won't be given to me until the tv is picked up and returned to samsung which the process for that was supposed to have started when they were offering replacement. It is now Jan 19 I still have not been given a pickup date for the old tv nor a refund. I bought the tv thinking samsung was a premium brand and I wouldn't have any trouble. When my tv failed I thought well samsung is a top tier company surely they'll make this a quick and painless process after all they definitely need to maintain their professional image? Amazon could have sent me a refund/replacement like 10 times by now. I'm incredibly disappointed and this is coming from a customer that's always bought samsung phones, earbuds, and computer products.

Support failure
Turned it on setup a few apps. Turned it off for the night and it never powered on again. I put in a ticket. Someone contacted me and said there are no technicians available in my area. Sent me a text to respond with my reciept did not hear from them again other that an email stating they closed my ticket. I am returning as we speak.
I was not impressed the picture when it did work appeared to have a lot of smearing with fast motion.

Good picture but operating the TV is extremely difficult. TV comes with pre-programmed apps or programs, good luck trying to change them or add new programs. If you do not like the ones loaded on TV. Not worth it shop around.

I'll keep it short and simple. BEST TV EVER MADE. Where it shines is in the blacks. True, pure blacks on screen. If you're a fan of scary movies and horror films, you need this. Another thing that's impressed me is how easy it was to set up and connect to everything else. When technology works, it's amazing. Would highly recommend

Dead in 2.5 months
If I could give a zero rating, I would. I bought this thing in July of this year, and it died less than 3 months later. I’m going on month 2 of waiting for Samsung to “repair” it, so I’ve got a $3000 77” black slab on the wall. Completely unsatisfied

If I can give zero stars, then I'd. This is a piece of crap! Do not buy. TV is broken in 40days exactly and Samsung is trying to repair this! Imagine, 40 days old TV needs to be repaired. And they don't have the parts to fix either and they don't have a timeline. You pay $3000 but you are sitting with a black board. I'm going to dispute this with my credit card and be done with the piece of a company!
Their customer service keeps repeating that they can't refund or send me a replacement because their policy doesn't allow it. WORST COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Power Board Problems
I bought this TV 3 days ago and it already broke. Red standby light wont power-on even with a working outlet. I'm guessing something must be up with the power board...Samsung said they would have someone out in a week and a half...I kind of expected better service for a product so expensive (and was bought 3 days ago)

Avoid Samsung
77” S90D broke within 10 hours of use. Samsungs thinks I should wait around for repair men to fix my tv. Yeah right, I’ll be sending this one back. Go with another company until Samsung learns proper customer support.

Professional Mounting Installation
I recently purchased this television and have no issues with it whatsoever at this time. However, DO NOT purchase the professional installation. Samsung hired a contractor through Angi and guy arrived at my house and was gone for 45 minutes because he did not have a stud finder. Installer then mounted the TV but damaged a cable wire. Due to this, we lost power in our living room, dining room, and upstairs hallway. I had to hire an electrician to fix and run to electrical cables in the affected areas. In total, I had to pay $1450 out of pocket. When I called Samsung they stated they would not cover this cost and to file a claim with Angi. I am currently in the claim process with Angi to be reimbursed. Hopefully this can me remedied but Angi is not very reputable so who knows. In conclusion, DO NOT purchase professional mounting installation as you deal with random people on Angi to get the “job done” and Samsung will not cover any damage even though they are the ones who facilitated this installation.

Great picture
My family thinks it's a perfect size, not to big or to small for our movie room. The color is great and the picture is awesome. I like that you can pic the contrast depending on what you want to. Of course the teenager loves the gaming hub option. I like that the remotes are solar n USBc chargerable .

This is a great TV. I had bought a LG OLED TV but did not the the picture. It seamed to be blury at times and the up scaling was not the best. LG does not support Direct TV app so if you you stream it you are of luck unless you get a rough or fire stick. I also use a Tablo stream device and it works perfect on the TV. The picture is amazing and with the new processor the speed is very good. I would recommend this TV to anyone that wants a great picture and sound is good too.

Vividly bright TV
I upgraded from a 65” QLED Q80 to this TV. I was looking for something a little bigger and brighter and boy did I find it. I mainly stream movies and play PS5 on it. The frame rate is fast and no skipping as footballs are thrown or movie pans out.
The only complaints I have are the remote is small and solar powered or C connection. I would prefer the AA battery option. And the TV speakers are pretty bad. You definitely need a sound bar to compliment this TV. I got the Samsung 9.1 and the TVs Qsymphony autosynced everything together which was really cool.
Overall, this is a fantastic TV and is very bright. Love it.

Delivered on June 13th, installed a week later. Dead on August 2nd. Shame on you Samsung for sending out $3400 dead TVs. At this price point expect a class action lawsuit soon.

Terrible build quality
Last samsung (75" Q800 8k) lasted right around 3 years until a full main board failure. Purchased a 77" S90D to replace it. S90D looked great but the build quality is total junk and borderline unsafe to have on a wall. Frame flexes and creaks with the slightest pressure. Center of tv somehow developed an approximate 2" crack and a 1x2" black spot. Samsung offered $50 towards buying another one. Total slap in the face! Purchased a 77" Bravia 8 and it is solid and the picture, although not as bright, looks much better.

No power after 3 days
Well I got my tv and 3 days later it would not power on. Placed a warranty service call and after waiting a week to get a tech onsite I get an email saying parts are on back order and no date of when they will be expected. So great investment??

Very best OLED TV
I primarily use my OLED for streaming movies or gaming. Has an absolute beautiful and well defined picture in some of the most detailed games (Diablo 4, COD). The sound leaves a little to be desired, the bass of some movies and games sometimes makes the tv rattle or the speakers sound like they waffle.

Perfect Picture
Picture quality for me was the most factor when deciding to buy a TV. This TV had the best picture quality of any TV that I reviewed. The picture on this TV is absolutely crystal clear and the colors (both blacks and colors) are stunning. I like everything about this TV. The remote control is simple and it does not need batteries. I also like how easy it is to get the best picture in the settings of this TV. I highly recommend this TV.

Horrible TV Quality
I would have given 0 stars if I could.
After 2 months of having this TV, my screen went black when I tried to turn it on. I could hear the sound but no picture. After spending hours on the phone with technical support, which was horrible (they kept hanging up on me), they sent a technician to my house. They told me I had to take the TV down from the wall for the technician to replace the panel. I had just paid $150 to mount it and now I had to pay another $150 to take it down. The technician resolved the issue by replacing the panel and told me that this is a common problem with new Samsung TVs. He also told me Samsung doesn't replace defective TVs; even if it was broken same day you received it. They will continue sending technicians to replace the panel if this problem persists until my 1-year warranty expires. After that, it will be out of pocket. I have been a loyal Samsung customer for the past 20 years, purchasing 15 TVs from them, but this is my last TV from them. I am extremely disappointed and will never purchase Samsung TVs ever again. "Good" job Samsung. You went from having awesome product and service to horrible.

My 77" S90D stopped powering on within 2 weeks of having it professionally mounted by Geek Squad. Best Buy had it replaced but it took about 3 weeks to swap. If it fails again I'm either going for the LG G4 or Sony Bravia OLED. Hope it lasts for at least 8 years before it needs to be replaced. I've always trusted Samsung until now after this incident. If you read through the other reviews you'll see a common thread of S90D screens going black or not turning on. Please consider a different brand if this happens even once. Also, I'm skeptical if the 77" is a part of the panel lotto. Do I have a QD-OLED or W-OLED @Samsung!?

Horrible Experience with new 77 OLED TV.
I bought this tv last month directly from Samsung while I was having a built in media cabinet done. I finally had the tv mounted on Saturday, removed from the box and there is no picture being displayed....only sound. Samsung sent a repair man who let me know that they will order parts and have to replace some components in the tv which should be here in a couple of days. The customer service rep tells me that this is the process and that once the parts are replaced I will have a "new tv". I paid $2800 for what will essentially become a refurbished tv....and one in which I have never actually watched. This is absolutely ridiculous that I pay full price for what is going to become a refurbished tv. Please do not purchase and if you do you should open as soon as it is in your home and perhaps you can send back immediately. I am planning to dispute the charge with my credit card once these repairs are finished, because the product I purchased and what I got are not the same. I have never heard of such craziness.

I have been a loyal samsung customer for years for both tvs and phones since the first galaxy was released. After my Qn90A qled tv died (only 3.5 years after purchase) I gave them another chance purchasing the S90D on 1/13/25. The picture quality was amazing. 7 days later tv shuts off and won't turn on. This has been a common issue and is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung's quality control is absolute garbage and their customer service is lackluster. Avoid all samsung tvs until they get their ish together and start building products that last like they used to. I truly liked this tv and wish that samsung invested more into their quality control to make a great lasting product.

Bad power supply issue
Bought in December, and power supply just died while on vacation over Easter break. Now I imagine I will be waiting 2 weeks or more to get fixed and since this seems to be a very common problem that keeps reoccurring even after the power board is replaced I am worried that this will happen multiple times. I loved the picture quality, but as an engineer Samsung should find the root of this design flaw and make a revised power supply board to solve this flaw. I have little confidence now in that this TV will last a year without multiple failures, and then worry even more after the 1 year warranty expires. Samsung should offer refund, replacement with the new model S90F, or 5 year extended warranty to appease there customers who have to deal with this issue. Its a shame that they wouldn't do more to appease their customers and to keep them as loyal customers.

The power boards in this model do not stay working
This model has a known power board issue. The one in our TV has been replaced twice now in less than 8 months. What's sad is I had such high hopes, the viewing size, clarity are great. It also works well paired with my Samsung Q series sound system.
At this point I would not recommend this Samsung TV to anyone!

Incredible Picture and Software
I love this TV - the picture is fantastic - so glad i bought this technology vs something less advanced. The software is so responsive as well - very quick. The remote is also a truly simple tool and i love that it is rechargeable.

Samsung S90D TV has broken twice within the first 6 months. Complete loss of power and it won't turn on. Ive confirmed with electrician that the wires, outlets and surge protectors are not the issue.
It has the worst picture quality. You know, since it's dead. When it did turn on, it was a great TV. It's hard to remember that though.
Maybe this is why TV's have gotten cheaper. They dont work half the time. Its a gamble. Its too bad because Samsung was the best. Ive had 1 out of 10 Samsung TV's over the past 15 years work properly indefinitely. Terrible. 10% success rate. I've spent so much time with Samsung customer service. They should be paying me by the hour to waste my time. At least there's the number you can call and someone can answer. Whether they are competent or not is another conversation.

Long story short, the TV was really amazing but the power supply blew after a few months and now, after more than a month of back and forth to get it replaced under warranty, Samsung is just ghosting me. They won’t respond on the text thread they setup, the trucking company they supposedly contracted to drop off the replacement and take the old TV has been totally MIA for a month, emails get no response, I’ve worked with multiple representatives to figure this out and all have now ghosted me.
I’d heard horror stories of Samsungs customer service, and after having bought many phones from them, three TVs, and a high end refrigerator I guess I’ll have to become someone else’s customer. Back when they would still respond to me they told me over and over, “Thanks for being the best part of Samsung.” Now I guess I’ll be the best part of LG or something.

Clearest picture yet.
New home with a little larger tv room. Went with the 77 inch OLED and it’s great . Hooking it up was no problem and it’s working just fine. Needed a new av receiver and the sound is amazing. I think I got a fair deal and just maybe a pretty good deal . This is my 6th Samsung TV.

It was fine for the first two months then suddenly died. No warning, etc. I'm now dealing with support. I had other Samsung TVs in the past, in fact, all the TVs I've had for the past 13 years have been Samsung. Quality control must have fallen off.

Great TV but ..
Pleased with the TV so far but after hearing other users who had the TV longer than I did saying the s90d have been getting nerfed with updates to make newer models look significantly much better so I’m skeptical about future Samsung products . Also my TV had some production dust near HDMI ports like I can tell where the trimming was done so a minus for quality control but looks good to me so far. Samsung bring back the old service menu.

Great TV, when it works
When the TV is working it is great. Bought the TV new from Best Buy the first week of December. With in the first week the power board went out and the TV would not turn on. Best Buy exchanged the TV for another new TV. Less than 90 days latter the power board went out again. After contacting Best Buy, they told me I had to contact Samsung, Samsung created a service ticket for a third party service company to service the set. Service person came out and within a hour switched out the power board. The TV set worked the rest of that day but next day the sound became muffled and lost the picture, shifter about 10 service came back out, first time needed to order parts and two days later replaced a majority of the set. As I type this I hope the TV will continue to work.

Next Level TV
I had been looking for a bigger TV for our open concept living room. I compared all the best rated TVs in the 75 - 77” range and based on features and video reviews landed on the S90D. However, during the evening I could see the reflection of our kitchen lights behind us and occasional shadow as people past in front of the light.
I couldn’t stand it so I bit the bullet and upgraded to the S95D with anti-glare screen…BEST decisions I could have made!
Now we can have all sorts of lights on behind us and the worse thing you see is a little clouding but doesn’t ruin the picture enough to even notice!
Game changer for our wide open living room!

This product has great AI picture features
Being IT challenged, it's nice for me to have such a large TV that has so many AI features for selecting picture clarity and quality. It sure made set up process a lot simpler. For those individuals who like to tailor the view to their own desires, there are plenty of settings to help make their picture unique to them. Samsung has always provided me the most reliable TV, so I didn't even look at other manufacturers when I selected this TV.

The resolution is great and the it’s easy to use. I use the screen mirroring a lot and Samsung makes it easy. I’ve had Sony and I can never get the screen mirroring to work. From now on I am purchasing Samsung.

This is a great TV! The picture quality, contrast, and brightness are outstanding.
I have only two minor quibbles. I dislike the interface at large. In my opinion, it's not very intuitive and a bit more complicated than it needs to be. My only other issue is that there isn't enough granularity in the Anynet+ HDMI CEC configuration. I need to be able to set it so that it doesn't send power on/off to my receiver, and it isn't an option.
Overall, I really do like this TV, and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose this TV again.

Exceeded My Expectations
This is the first time I’ve purchased a Samsung TV, since I’ve always been partial to the other brand all these years, the name of which also starts with “S”. I’ve had my 77” Samsung OLED 4K TV since Thanksgiving 2024. Very simply . . . I LOVE IT! Excellent picture quality with its 4K resolution. With the additional options I purchased with it, such as a speaker system and faux fireplace cabinet stand, it expanded my viewing experience to a totally higher level. I’m not a technical geek, but I’m also fascinated by its slim profile and how it can still deliver excellent picture quality. Was it worth the price I paid? YES, and hoping it still will beyond its warranty period.

Great TV, different remote & stand for 77
Not sure if it's because the odd size from 65 to 77, we are still struggling to find a mount since the one of the stand pieces seemed to be missing. Also we tried using another remote since it's somewhat difficult to use but tv will not connect to any other samsung remote unless its your phone via smart things app. The specs indicate 400x300 vesa but this does not seem to be the case.. as of right now we cannot enjoy the brand new tv purchased due to difficulty in finding parts or mounts that'll fit.

Not my favorite Samsung purchase
Purchased in September of 2024
Positives - picture and features are great even in a bright room.
Negatives - I had to get warranty work within the first 4 months since TV wouldn't turn on. And now 3 months later the issue has returned and TV won't turn on.
I have multiple samsung products including appliances that have been great because they have lasted multiple years and were dependable. This TV is not dependable and may affect future decisions when considering Samsung products.

We had originally bought the SD 84 and gave us a lot of issues, I upgraded to the SD 90 and this TV quality is great, sometimes the processor can be a little slow but overall it’s a great TV, if you find it on a sale is totally worth it,

I knew oled was supposed to look better, I didn't know it was that much if a difference. I am blown away everytime I turn it on. Even the menu screen is unlimited contrast ratio. If you are on the fence about upgrading to a oled. Just do it. You will never have a thought about wonder if I did the right thing.

Amazing TV, when working
Go the TV on March 27, it is an amazing tv. Visually it was great for games which is what I used it for mainly. Went to turn it on the morning April 18th and the screen is already blown out. I can hear it, completely black screen after spending 2400 or so after taxes and the Samsung customer service has been absolutely abysmal. I’ve called 3 times and still have no appointment for them to at least look at the tv which inevitably will need to be replaced. I’ve had only Samsung TVs since 2010 and never had this issue. And for them look at the tv I’ll have to unmount it because their technicians apparently aren’t capable of that, so if you’re older or disabled you’ll have to pay to have it taken down (if you ever get an appointment) and then put back up. I’m probably going to end up going 2-3 weeks without a tv that’s only 3 weeks old. Just for them probably to send me a replacement that need to be mounted on my dime. This might be the breaking point for me not to ever buy another Samsung in the future. Every tv prior to this has been awesome, be aware that you could get an amazing tv today and the next day it’ll just stop working and you have to wait at a minimum a week, probably 2-3 weeks just to get it fixed after giving them thousands of dollars.

Faulty TV & Horrible Support – Avoid This Product
I purchased this TV in November 2024, and just two weeks after delivery, the power supply failed. What followed was a nightmare of customer support. After my initial request on November 26th, I was stuck in an endless loop of phone calls, with no resolution in sight. Samsung's technician center in the NJ/NY area was impossible to reach — I could barely get through to them, and when I did, they didn’t pick up on most attempts. Samsung support itself struggled to get in touch with the technician center for the longest time.
My technician call was canceled, even after I was promised it would happen. I had to chase down both Samsung support and the technician center, only to get no communication for days. Finally, after multiple follow-ups and over two weeks of frustration, my issue was resolved on December 12th.
Fast forward to today, April 24th, 2025, and the power supply has failed again. This is the second time in just five months, and I now know this is not just a one-off issue. Many other reviews share the same frustrations with this TV’s faulty power supply.
I feel terrible for recommending this TV to my best friend, thinking my initial issue was just bad luck. But clearly, this is a recurring problem. The TV might look great, but the faulty power supply and poor customer support make it a nightmare to deal with. Avoid this TV unless you want to experience the same frustration I’ve gone through.

Breaks after 3 days
Bought this TV 9/15/24. Died/ did not turn back on after 3 days. Exchanged for the same one on 9/21/2024.
And today 11/21/24. Same issue. Does not receive power, does not turn back on.
Beyond frustrated, 80lb tv mounted twice and now have to remove twice and rent vehicles large enough to transport back to the store.

I am absolutely thrilled with this TV. Believe Consumer Reports and everyone be else who says this is the best tv on the market. The picture quality is absolutely stunning. The real depth feature completely changes the way you watch. You’re going to want to rewatch all your favorite movies. The AI upscaling is super cool. Even old movies look amazing. Seriously, watch Star Wars on this thing. It will blow your mind. Plus it’s the sanely easy to set up. I’m news all prepared for a long process of screen after screen clicking a tiny typewriter over and over again with the remote. Nope! The app works like a dream and it took me maybe a couple of minutes to get it going and I am NOT tech savvy at all! Plus, I paired it with a Samsung soundbar and that was a breeze to set up to. I really didn’t do much more than lug it in and the sound is mind blowing. I can’t say enough great things about this TV!

90D is a great TV but isn't..
Let me start by saying the 90D is a great TV but this wasn't my original purchase.. I originally had purchased the Samsung 95D OLED and it's what I wanted. When I went to pick it up at the store Samsung identified the store manager stated didn't have it and Samsung wasn't making it anymore (which I felt was a lie). They only had the the 90D in stock at BB and I bought that as a consolation. The 90D is a very nice OLED and I can't take anything away from the rave reviews it gets. This TV is a recommended buy but how I wish I could've gotten what I saved for and wanted. I mounted the 90D on the wall and also purchased the 990C soundbar which pairs great with it. This replaced my Samsung 55 inch curve screen UHD and a Viso soundbar.

Poor Customer support
After buying 6 new Samsung tv in August I am very disappointed at Samsungs warranty response. It will be over a week with out use of the tv. Actually, I was expecting an offer to replace the TV on my initial call. To find out it will take a week to have a service repair tech come to the property was very un expected., I finally got the service company to answer. They are not able to respond until Friday.i waited all day and they did not show. I call Samsung all they promised was to resolve the probably thanksgiving… two weeks away. L looked up the service company. They have a one start rating on yelp. Says a lot about Samsung customer support.

TV is broken again...
I loved my 77" OLED S90C enough to buy another one. They only had the 77" OLED S90D as the "C" was last-years model... In 5 months, the 90D's power board has fried twice. First time took 1 month to get repaired. Now, Samsung cannot even schedule me an appointment to get a second repair. Both the website and the 1800 SAMSUNG number have not been able to help and have taken hours of my time. I'm again with a broken TV and not able to get an appointment for repair. This is very frustrating...

Worst product quality and worst customer service
TV turned itself off when we were in the middle of a game on Xbox. Cannot power on afterwards (red light next to physical power button is not on after we tried multiple working outlets). We suspect the model has serious defects with hardware. Customer service was denying responsibilities even though the TV broke only four days after delivery. Stay aware from making purchases with Samsung directly. Costco, BestBuy, or other retailers may be safer.

I bought this a month ago and while the picture quality is amazing, the TV is now dead. It will not turn on! Seems like this is a recurring issue with so many people who have bought this TV. Samsung you need to rectify this problem. We’ve paid a lot of money for this TV. Clearly there is a problem with your quality control and electronics. It may well be the power board inside the TV that eventually dies pretty quickly. But you need to do something about this as it’s not fair on us people who’ve paid thousands of dollars for this TV for it to die after a month. Please let me know what you will do about this.

TV won't turn on after less than a month
I bought this TV about a month ago, the screen quality is lovely but after less than a month of occasional watching, we heard a pop sound and now the TV won't turn on at all. There was no power surge, the outlets are fine, all other devices are fine, previous TV was fine for years. So yeah this looks nice but it's so brittle that I wouldn't recommend it especially at the premium price it commands
To make matters worse as soon as I tried to make a support request to get it repaired, the site was "of course" closed for regular scheduled maintenance

The television will not turn on AGAIN!!!!
I purchased it on December 1 ,2024. It was delivered Decently 17, 2024. A repair order was issued by Samsung on January 11,2025. A technician came on January 27th to repair it. Now on April 1, 2025 I came back home at 8 pm and the television will NOT TURN ON Once again!!

Power board went after only having it for 3 months and couldn’t turn on the TV. Tv was tied up for a week until it was fixed. Also had to take down the tv ourselves because the repair company would do it. I am 71 years old and shouldn’t have had to do it after I paid Best Buy to install the TV. Not happy with Samsung right now!!
They knew what the problem was without even looking at it and said they would give us an upgraded one so we wouldn’t have another problem. They shouldn’t have sold us the tv if they knew there was a problem. Thank you for listening. Not a happy customer.

77" S90D was a Valentine's Day gift in 2024. I am writing this review on April 1 2025.
Overall, the TV is excellent. We also have a recent model 77" Sony OLED. It's a very good set, and beats the Samsung in sound (without a soundbar), but the picture on the Samsung QD-OLED is so much brighter that it immediately became the living room TV, and the Sony went upstairs to the playroom.
We were afraid to play games on the Sony, but we regularly play PS5 Games on the Samsung with no issue. The picture looks amazing and there is little to no lag time.
The remote control is excellent, and being Solar we save on batteries.
The only drawback is the fact that Samsung now makes you sign in to use the smart TV functions- even minimal functions, such as accessing apps (Netflix, Prime, Youtube, etc.). I absolutely hate this. Why do I have to sign in to watch a TV I own? Sony does not make you do this. I can access the apps from the remote control and no sign-in is needed. Samsung, if you are reading this, in a day and age where privacy is in question, and many people are concerned with everything from personal info being sold to being a target for whatever political side you watch, why are you forcing this?

Picture is great as I am accustomed to in all Samsung TV's. Have not bought anything other than a Samsung TV in years. The reason for the 3 star rating instead of 5 stars is after only having the new tv for 3 months it would not turn on. After calling Samsung tech support and going through all of the internal checks, it still would not turn on.
I was referred to a repair company that would come out and take a look at it. I called to make an appt and I was told it would be at least a week to get the parts and they would call me at that time. I was also told they are not responsible for taking the TV off of the wall, problem is I cant get it mounted or dismounted without help and that is why I had techs from the place I bought it from mount it. So had to get my neighbor over to get it off of the wall for service.
Two weeks later the repair co showed up and had to replace one of the circuit boards under warranty. Yup had to get the neighbor again to mount it back on the wall.
It has been working great since it was repaired however a lot of hassle to get a new expensive TV fixed that was only used 3 months. Def not what I would expect that from a new TV from Samsung.

Known Power Board Failure
DO NOT BUY. Unless you want to deal with the terrible power board failure this TV has. They are continuing to sell this TV with a KNOWN power board issue. They are refusing to refund until they fix it 3 times. I have two repairs in less than 3 months of owning this TV and I had to wait 2 weeks each time. This is a terrible purchase and especially the price point. Samsung needs to allow people to return this TV.

I'm blown away by the picture quality!
I started having family movie nights on Saturday nights, and it's really been an amazing experience to say the least. I purchased a soundbar and subwoofer with rear speakers for full immersion. I never get shocked or scared while watching movies. The first time watching a movie on this TV, I jumped about 10 times! The picture clarity and quality with the depth on screen are all amazing features.

I had the TV for less than 60 days, and the power supply went out. It has been almost 30 days since I called customer support, and I am still waiting for the refund. TV looked great when I worked, but I'm second guessing on getting another due to this experience. They are a big company with many customers to serve, but I got the VIP Advantage plan, and I'm still waiting for the warranty and refund 30 days after I reported the TV went out.

I purchased this TV just 5 months ago, and it has already stopped working. I’ve been told I have to pay out of pocket to have it dismounted and remounted after the power supply is replaced. This doesn’t seem fair, especially for a product that failed so soon.
I’ve looked online and found multiple complaints from other customers experiencing the exact same issue. It’s clearly a common problem, and I no longer feel confident that this TV will function reliably, even after repairs.
At this point, I feel like a refund or a replacement with a more reliable model would be a more appropriate resolution. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience for what should have been a quality purchase.

We bought three 77 inch tv and within 3 months of buying , 2 out 3 had burned mother board. Really bad quality product. Even technician said this is the known issue. I didn’t buy the warranty and if I want to add one , Samsung wants to charge $500 for 2 year extended warranty. What kind a bad quality product are they making. I bought this TV in Nov of 2025. I took it out of the box and hung it on the wall Dec 16 due to being out of the country. Approximately 245 hours later (according to my smart things app) the tv died. So the tv lasted from Dec 16th to Feb 15th. Samsung customer service is the worst experience of the whole deal. It's really hit or miss if you will get a person who's not rude and actually wants to help. I received incorrect guidance, conflicting stories from different representatives, no updates, and for me to be patient and wait 7 business days for any action on my resolve. I've called every Monday and Friday since Feb and it seems 7 business days resets itself each time. I gave up and asked for a refund and I was told it would take even longer to receive my money back. I finally got a notification from the shipping company that they will deliver a new unit on March 25th. I hope this actually occurs since I now had this TV for 3 months and it had broken more than half of that time. I know things happen and there are defective units every once in a while but Samsung (yes your employees speak for your company) handle this whole situation in a disappointing way to say the least. This unit was not cheap (price wise) and I expected more from a big name. Looks like I will have to do my homework and see what brand is actually reliable!

Great while it worked. Terrible after ~60 days. Impossible to get a repair person, what is the point. TV just stopped turning on one day. Which after post purchase reviews..is apparently the norm.

Beautiful TV... Died in 36 days
Our new 77" NEO OLED 4K SMART TV has great color, great resolution and everything you could want in a TV. BUT... the TV totally died instantly after owning it for 36 days. We're into our 2nd week and no service. Samsung states they will only replace their product for the first 10 days. So now we have to wait at least till Monday (4 days) to get service because their authorized service doesn't have the part and Samsung has not told when it will be there. I'm old, I'm tired and had enough.

Power Supply bad within 3 Months
I purchased the 77 inch Samsung in December 2024. The power supply was defective and tv stopped working and wouldn’t power on. Samsung refused to replace tv. Would only offer repair. The Tv was on wall and had to be removed. Samsung wouldn’t pay for that. Seventy five year olds can’t left a tv like that. Nor do I think most people could. Repair person came out first time to verify the defect after I was told he would be there instead to replace the power supply which they order. ‘Was told the power supply was on back order. Took two weeks to come in and finally replace. Was without a tv for that entire time. Customer service was terrible. Repair person said he has been replacing a lot of Samsung Power supply boards.

First OLED Experience
This was the best Samsung TV we have had in color. We has power-on problem within 60 days of delivery but was fixed under warranty. We had to live without TV for 3 weeks for service schedule.
There were lots of adjustments and image enhancements schemes avaiable. But, most standard setting and without enhancements fit best for us. The screen brightness is not as bright at the brightst setting as I would like in day time viewing.

Amazing quality for home theatre
I have been excited to buy a BIG TV for some time now and this one does not disappoint. Easy to navigate, amazing picture, even in the day time, and crisp, clear quality.
I paired this with a Sonos surround sound system and the display and Audio sync amazingly and crystal clear.
I ran a test when I first installed it by playing the opening sequence to Star Wars. WOWWWWW .
It sure did win me over.

Beautiful picture, interface could use some work
I purchased this TV to replace my LG Plasma, which recently died. I was hesitant to get an LED/LCD because I was concerned I wouldn't be happy with a TV that couldn't match my old Plasma's black levels and contrast. Boy, am I happy that I went to this OLED. The brightness, contrast, and overall picture quality are stellar.
The only gripe I have is with the interface. It seems needlessly complicated and lacks some setting granularity that I would expect from a TV in this price range.
Overall I am pleased with this TV.

Do not buy - dead in 70 days. No Samsung support
Dead in 70 days. Research on line, power board is designed poorly. Called Samsung support, multiple times, no support. They open a ticket, Samsung says someone will call in 24 - 48hrs, must call 72hrs. no one calls to fix it in 72hrs. Call Samsung back - after 18 minute run around - the representative place you on hold for 10 minutes then hangs up. Terrible stuff. $2,700 down the drain.

Power board failure twice since September 2024
The TV is fine when it's operating. I've had to have Samsung take the TV apart twice now in six months because it shut off on it's own and never restarted.
Both times it was a power board failure. Is it bad power boards or something else within the tv causing me to be without TV for a week, both times.
I have been told, a evidence shows, that this is a common problem with this model. I have requested a replacement to no avail. Samsung said that I am not eligible.
Remember this review before you buy this model.

TV stopped working after just one month of use. Samsung provided a repair service company to come to house and fix it rather than replacing the lemon they manufactured. Samsungs quality isn’t what it used to be. Used to be a dedicated Samsung customer but no longer after this last poor experience. Their warranty customer service department is a nightmare to communicate with as well. Spent almost two weeks trying to get issues resolved and still no response even after they told us it had been “escalated”. Future buyers be aware. They won’t stand behind their faulty product and you will waste weeks getting lied to.

Tv came damaged and doesn't turn on after 3 months of having it. Samsung won't cover their trash products. Save your time and money. Go with an LG and avoided the headaches and waste of time customer service from India. DO NOT BUY FROM SAMSUNG you will 100% regret it.

The TV is great. However, we also got a samsung HW-S50B/ZA sound bar with the TV. We are not happy with the sound we are getting. Tryed all the adjustments recommended, but sound is still bad. lipsync is off and cannot reduce the base. Look like we need help.

I bought this before the Super Bowl, and I was amazed. The picture is clear, sharp, and with terrific color definition. The motion is clean, and watching anything in 4K, HDR, or SDR lives up to their definitions. It is worth the money. The screen size fits our room perfectly. Good image quality - good TV - only when it works
1. TV quality OK , when it works
2. The "smart audio" keeps changing the volume so many times and at the wrong time that I had to disable it. Annoying feature.
3. I'm getting "server under maintenance" error code and the TV trying to load "terms and conditions" without letting me do anything else. My broadband internet works well; only when I connect to my cell phone WiFi the TV becomes responsive ... and then I have to switch back again to the normal broadband WiFi, which always works .... annoying experience with no resolution from Samsung team ( they are sending a technician ... but this is a SW problem ).
4. Some apps are slow to launch, but I don't know if this is an issue with the app developers ( i.e. ESPN ) , or with the Samsung TV.
5. I have to "hard reset" at least once every week to have the TV become responsive. No big deal, I can live with it, but I'm not 100% sure if this is expected.
The 2 stars are because , when the TV works, the image quality is really good in my opinion. But only when it works.

The reviews are accurate. You're taking a chance with the Samsung 77" S90D OLED. I purchased mine on January 31, 2025. As of March 9, 2025 it has already died. That's just 38 days, and the power supply has already failed. For 38 days it worked beautiful, and the display was beyond amazing!!! I read reviews before buying it, so I can't be upset that it happened. It's just sad that it only lasted 38 days. Samsung said that since it's under warranty the repair fees and all are covered by Samsung. I would hope so! LOL! I didn't just spend $2200+ for a TV that only lasted 38 days. HA! Thankfully the online support was very helpful in getting me where I needed to be to start a repair request.

Good picture, poor quality
Purchased this TV less than a year ago and while the picture quality and features are amazing, it has managed to break, twice, while it was turned off. There are some quality issues going on with the electronics in this model that causes them to burn out. Samsung is typically a reliable brand so I’m a bit disappointed to say the least. Especially since it needs to break a few times before you can be issued a refund or some other accommodation. Back to waiting on a tech to come and refurbish it, again.

Problem w/black screen/no power. Ge insurance!
I bought about 3 months ago and it's broke. Black screen no power, no repair guy around me, no protection plan. Customer service is pretty good at listening and is going to send cash back not an E-coupon like they suggest w/o telling me up front about a Citibank check that I found out later about, to just get Samsung online products only. So I'm getting the protection plan from the seller choose to buy from.

Good picture terrible durability
I wish I would have done more research on the durability of the tv. I always do a lot of research on picture quality and that is why I landed on this tv. I own 13 tv's in my house currently and this is the only tv that has a serious issue that it will not power on at all and only after a few months of ownership. After researching the issue for potential fixes, I found too many people having the same issue I am having. The tv is under warranty, but the warranty people are terrible to deal with, I am on day 17 of submitting a request and still have no repair date. I will definitely not be buying Samsung for my next TV's.

Great Features
Overall, the TV has all the features we need, it looks great and is a good size for our room. I have a Polk Soundbar (about 5-years old) that frequently goes silent. Not sure why but maybe it's outdated or not compatible with the TV. I disconnected the Polk and just use the TV speakers, for now, and we've experienced no loss of audio. The only other issue is when streaming (i.e.: Netflix, Prime, Paramount+) via AT&T fiber internet. I contacted AT&T and they "reset" the modem and it seems to have corrected the issue - we'll see.

A new edition to my man cave. The first week, everything looked fine. As soon as I had my furniture delivered, it stopped working. Only got to watch one or two movies. Geek squad came out and declared it dead. Seems to be a common issue with a faulty power supply.

Color is indeed really remarkable. However my whites all have a pinkish hue and after all the adjustments it still remains. Also I have nothing but issues with ARC port in identifying and retaining my sound bar after OFF/ONs. So much Geek Squad is on their way today for the verdict. As of right now kinda wish I stuck with LG.

Love it, but ..
I love the beautiful picture and size of this TV and would have given it 5 stars, but right now my set is broken. I watched a show earlier in the day and switched it off. When I went back to watch, it was simply dead. No standby light, no nothing. Dead. I contacted warranty services and have a repair ticket in the system, but after four days, I haven't been contacted by the repair service to schedule an appointment.

If any consumers that are looking to buy a new TV reads this BEWARE! I bought the TV barely two months ago and already have issues with it. The TV will not turn on whatsoever. I have lower end TVS that I have owned for years and have no issues. Waste of $3000 dollars.

We bought this TV on December 19, 2024. It stopped working, as in completely dead, on February 26, 2025. We found out, after 45 minutes with the Samsung department, that there is a known recall on this TV. Why I had to go through all that they made me do when they knew about the recall and the fact that there wasn't a red light was the tip-off. When I was finally referred to a service company over an hour away, he knew as soon as I said there was no red light, that it was the recall piece. He said the piece will take 7-10 business days to arrive and then he would call to schedule the repair. With all that said, the TV is wonderful! I just wish the company would have been more proactive about a known fault.

Tough to navigate
TV is great, but I am 83 years old, and I need a grand daughter to tell me how to use it! It seems our old minds don’t have the ability to navigate the intricacies of adding apps for whatever reason takes many steps and watching you tube videos to get your new Samsung to where my old Sony already was.

Like so many people here I bought this and was not aware that there is a known issue with the power board. I bought the TV in Nov 2024 and got delivered Dec 1, 2024. And noticed it died a little over 90 days. And the part was replaced by Samsung; however based on recent reviews here. Now I am extremely concerned that this model may died on me just after the 1year warranty runs out, with my luck. My cheaper tv last years without any issues. I think Samsung should do a recall or replacement of this tv. It’s expensive and it’s really does not do well for the Samsung name. I lost my confidence in this TV’s ability to withstand the test of time.

TV puts out a great pic.. but...O had some issues between my TIVO and the TV and had requested some 'level 2' tech support from Samsung.. NEVER heard from them. Very disappointing.
The 'solution' from Samsung was to send a service person to the house but if he felt that the issue wasn't the TV, I would be charged $180. I finally came up with a workaround for my issue. Samsung doesn't care...

Purchased the 77 inch back in August and has been great until today. It randomly died and won’t turn on. After reading review it seems this is a common problem. Can’t recommend this TV unfortunately. Luckily it’s still under warranty but if this happens again outside of warranty that would be so unfortunate. From how many reports Samsung has on this I’d wish they’d do something more to address this issue. I have service scheduled for the repair. Be warned.

So good, I bought it twice
I originally purchased this set in November and absolutely loved it. It replaced a Samsung 3D set that did not have a very bright picture after 10 years or so. This set offered a brilliant picture with easy controls. Loved it! Sadly one day it failed to turn on. After some calls to Samsung Care, I finally received a full refund and they sent a carrier out to pick up the defective set. I was hoping to just have it repaired, but Samsung did not have any local service shops. I was able to purchase the exact same model and have now been enjoying it for several months. Love the picture!

The Samsung SD90 77-inch TV is the best thing I have ever brought into my home. The moment I turned it on, I was completely blown away. The screen is so big and clear, it feels like I’m inside the movie. Every color is bright and full of life — reds, blues, greens, everything just pops like never before. The black levels are so deep, it’s like the screen disappears when the scene gets dark, making it feel extra real. HDR10+ content looks amazing. Who needs Dolby Vision? Tizen is pretty good compared to other TVs on the market. Serviceable and responsive.

Beautiful Picture
We bought a Samsung TV in 2017 and we loved it. It was finally time to get a new one though and naturally we had to get another Samsung. This TV has such good picture. Video games, movies, TV shows. Whatever you enjoy doing, this TV is great for that. The dark scenes in games or movies look fantastic. Color is great also!

5 Stars – Amazing Picture and Smart Features!
The Samsung OLED has blown me away. The colors are incredibly vibrant, the contrast is perfect, and everything looks sharp and lifelike whether I’m watching movies or gaming. The deep blacks and brightness really make HDR content pop. The smart features are easy to use, super responsive, and give me instant access to all my favorite apps. Samsung knocked it out of the park with this TV!

Great TV When it works
I chose this TV over competitors due to good reviews and for it being able to communicate directly the Hue Play Strip for ambient lighting. Setup was easy and it quickly tied into my existing home theater setup sending audio via the ARC port. The Hue feature that I had been searching for worked great, adding ambient lighting to the TV apps (Netflix, Youtube, etc.) that was missing from my previous TV. I was able to turn off the ads that pop up (which shouldn't be there in the first place on a TV this expensive). I also wish that input switching was more straightforward (there is no "input" button on the remote).
Unfortunately, less than 30 days after purchase, the TV powered off and would not power back on. Scheduling service was relatively easy and quick - it was serviced within a week. Weird, but maybe I just got a bad TV.
Fast forward 4 more months and the same thing happened again, TV powers off and will not power on again. Service scheduling is straightforward but now I have a TV that has broken twice within the first 5 months of ownership. I like the TV but have some serious concerns towards its long term reliability.

Best picture ever
When I first turned on the TV I was totally blown away. The picture was awesome. The colors jumped out at me. I have never seen a TV with such beautiful colors. And the detail was extremely sharp. I play a lot of games on the TV. The action was extremely smooth and everything was as if I was actually there. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone wanting to experience the ultimate in television viewing. I would also recommend a Samsung sound bar to go with the TV. I have always used Bose sound bars but I got the Samsung sound bar and I am so much happier. The sound bar syncs up with the television for much better sound than I ever got with a Bose.

I wish I had bought this TV Sooner
I mainly use my TV for watching live sports, gaming and streaming like HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Apply TV+ etc etc.
The COOLEST integration for me as a gamer, was the fact that after about a month I kept seeing Xbox in the gaming tab so I got curious... turns out, SAMSUNG and XBOX have a built in integration for the Xbox Cloud servers!!
I was able to buy a wireless controller and an Xbox Live Ultimate game pass, and I can play Xbox games right off my TV without owning the system!
I absolutely love the TV overall, and the picture clarity is on point. I would recommend this TV to everybody for all uses.

1st tv lasted 3 months took it back I received a replacement and it lasted 4 months it took 2 weeks to get service man to fix .we will see !

Very clear picture. So so, presets
The picture is great in terms of clarity, brightness, lack of motion blur, deep blacks and other details I'm forgetting. I've seen 8k and without being side-by-side, I cannot tell the difference other than 8k is currently in QLED and so is not as accurate with the blacks. The built in speaker is decent but a soundbar is a very noticeable and worthwhile upgrade. The color presets are pretty good though they can be a bit too much in terms of color contrast for some things (some games, some movies, some TV shows), but these can be adjusted; would be nice if presets were more aligned with actual use rather than first install "wow" factor. Overall I really like it and have no wants for anything more, even knowing what else exists on the market.

Always broke down or slow
The s90d models that we have are very slow and do not seem to work as well as the s90c models. Also my 77 inch s90d had something break and cost me $400 to repair. I waited three weeks for a Samsung repair man and finally got a call after I’d already had it repaired. Probably won’t be buying Samsung again. This is sad because we have loved our previous models.

Avoid the Samsung 77” S90D – Terrible Product, Even Worse Customer Service
I bought the Samsung 77” S90D in November 2024. By April 2025—just five months later—it completely died and would not power on. Since it was under warranty, I contacted Samsung for support. What followed was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
First, troubleshooting didn’t work. Samsung said they’d send a technician—only to tell me three days later that I’m outside their service area. Since I’m not in a service area, they couldn’t replace the TV either. I was then transferred to the refund department, which took another two weeks just to approve the refund.
To make matters worse, I bought the TV through AAFES (Army & Air Force Exchange Service), and Samsung questioned whether it was a legitimate store. I had to get on a three-way call with AAFES customer service just to prove my purchase. After all that, the refund was finally approved, and I selected a CITI Bank transfer, which was supposed to take three business days. It’s been over a week now, and I still haven’t received my money. No clear answers—just delays and apologies.
The TV failed in under six months, and I’ve spent over a month trying to get my refund. Samsung’s warranty service is a nightmare. I expected better from a major brand, but I’ll never buy from them again.

Samsung just gets better.
We have always bought Samsung displays, either for our computers or televisions. When it was time to upgrade, we chose another Samsung and the S90D OLED 4K TV did not let us down. The ability to connect to different types of inputs made it the perfect display to show movies, presentations or anything that falls in between. Looking forward to this television presenting great media for the years to come.

Horrible tv
Six days after purchase it would not power up. Power board took a dive. Many many others have the same problem. Look it up. Can’t believe they haven’t recalled this thing.

Absolutely Blown Away!
Just upgraded to the S90D and it’s a total game-changer. The QD-OLED display is jaw-dropping — deep blacks, ultra-vivid colors, and buttery-smooth 4K at 144Hz.
It’s perfect for gaming (HDMI 2.1 + VRR + FreeSync), and movies feel truly cinematic. The design is sleek, and Samsung’s Gaming Hub is a nice bonus.
No Dolby Vision, but honestly, you won’t miss it. This is premium OLED quality without the flagship price.

I can’t say enough about this TV. I had a Samsung Q80 75”. Even my wife said she could tell the difference. Everything on this S90 77” is awesome. I have it paired with the 9.1.2 Samsung sound bar system and I now have Q symphony. Such an awesome setup for sure!

Tv has not worked correctly from new
I bought this tv in December 2024. Thought everything was going on till one day i realized the coloring was off then I started noticing it all the time. Played with some settings thought I had fixed it but nothing. Then 2 weeks ago turned the tv off on Saturday night. Sunday morning woke up and wouldn't come on at all completely dead. Guy came out to fix it under warranty thankfully and said they have had a lot of these lately with bad chips. Then i also noticed the coloring is back with this new chip. Pretty sad that 6 months in the tv has never worked right from new because there is no quality control. Its just shove them out the door and screw the consumer over.

Panel had to be replaced after 3months
Panel had to be replaced after 3months(I just replaced another Samsung with a bad panel after 3 years). It doesnt do 1080 very well. Cant find the hidden mic button and no instructions online anywhere for this tv. All the manuals and instruction are vagure and for multiple models of tv.

Less than 6 months and no power.
I bought this about Thanksgiving 2024 when my 9 year old TV stopped turning on. This one just died in May 2025. Can't get service because everyone is blowing me off. So, Garbage TV doesn't turn on and No service. I'm not sure if this could even get upgraded to a 2 star.

Have the TV for two months and the Power blew
Had the TV for three months and the power blew on it already went to the store to see if I could return it and the salesman told me they have big problems with this model TV that they went through three TVs that were in the showroom because they kept on having a problem with it Try to contact Samsung all as they want to do is just replace the circuit board in the back, which is crazy because something is going to happen very soon again definitely don’t recommend this particular model TV
