The SM58 is probably one of the most well-known microphones currently in use. Is it the best? No. Is the sound quality perfect? No. Does it do pretty much everything you need at a decent price? Yes, yes it does.

Shure is a stellar company that makes top-notch equipment. I have used a lot of their mics and headphones and have had no issues with them. I highly recommend them as a quality audio equipment company.

Simple, no frills mic. These work well for live presentations and are pretty durable too. We've had plenty of these and they've all been champs!
