Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't work I bought several of these for use with a USB keyboard, to connect it to a computer with PS/2 ports. I tried this on 3 different computers, none of the computers recognized the keyboard. I know the keyboard works because I use it on a computer with a USB port

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great if you understand what you’re buying Another reviewer said it didn’t work at all… which is not the case if you use it with a keyboard that inherently supports PS/2 and USB (i.e. the IC of the device needs to be able to communicate using the PS/2 protocol. This adapter is a purely mechanical converter. Many modern keyboards don’t support it, some do. Your mileage might vary. Don’t blame StarTech for this though since it’s by design.
