The Vertiv KVM Avocent Cat 5 Integrated Access Cable is designed to reduce cable bulk. Use this USB cable to convert keyboard, monitor and mouse signals from a server through a single integrated CAT 5 cable to your switch. This 7 ft. cable draws its power from the server and uses a Keep Alive functionality that will keep your server working properly with or without connectivity to the Avocent KVM switch or serial console switch. It supports USB 2 peripheral devices (Virtual media and Smart card/CAC) with Avocent Mergepoint KVM switches.
