Horrible experience. Cartridges were sent from a Co. In Miami, the Yellow one showed as empty. I returned the whole package and they issued a partial refund. They owe me $36 dollars. Had to dispute through my bank. I will never order it again, rather go to the store, as I did.

I have had my 8620 printer for years, only once did I try refill cartridges. They were a waste of money. HP oem cartridges are quite simply the only way to go. I contribute them for the excellent performance of my printer. You pay a little more but by in all you save time and money. HP was my best office machine purchase ever.

No More HP Printers
Less than one week after installing the Cyan cartridge I get the dreaded 8620 line "missing or failed Printhead" - Coincidence ? The printer also displays the "new" Cyan ink level as only being 2/3 full after printing less than half a dozen B&W pages.- Tried reseating the printhead no luck and no printheads in stock from the HP store.. Hmmmm ....and in any case from the community comments replacing the printhead on this common problem is not a sure deal. Looks like i'm out $176 on recently purchased ink as I will not be purchasing another HP printer

Colour cartridge 3-packs make so much sense! It's a "no-brainer".
When you need to replace a colour ink cartridge, everyone knows its just a matter of time before you need to replace the other colours also. That's why these 3-packs make so much sense. The fact that they are offered with a slight discount compared with ordering 3 individual colours is a nice bonus.

I'm leaving HP as a customer
It would appear that some remote software upgrade has changed the printer such that I cannot print black & white if I am empty on one colour (nor scan without a new HP account). This is new...being forced to buy replacement colour ink (when it's not needed) means that I will no longer be an HP customer - you've wasted my time and money. I am now going to buy Canon product and throw HP in the landfill.

Be careful this is the third printer/copier that has been ruined by replacing new cartridges. It was working fine until I had to change cartridge! In every printer the same message appears, that is something wrong with the printing heads, I followed instructions on what to do to clear this message and ran tests and came okay. Then I ran 10 copies and the same message came up! Got this message cleared again now it tells me one or more of the cartridges are damaged, brand new, also my blue cartridge is about out of ink, just replaced 2 days and only ran test and 10 copies. So lost 3 printer/copiers in 2 and a half years. Just bought this ink now I can not use it and you will give me a hassle for a refund! It seems funny this happened 3 times makes me think you did something to the cartridges to make it quit working! Defective cartridges!

Didn't Work
Printer ran on a black ink. We placed the black cartridge with this new one then the printer started giving an error that I could not clear. Tried to contact HP but it's not possible to talk to a live person. Try a whole variety of solutions based on a Google search. Nothing worked. The good news is HP accepted a full refund of the cost for this cartridge when I returned it.

Cartridges are too expensive and short-lived. "XL" versions only exist to charge more for full cartridges. Colors feel bland / watered-down especially for normal printing. Either poorly designed or designed to clog. Printer is CONSTANTLY "cleaning" and designed to continually waste ink even without printing. Watch the levels drop for no reason every. time. you turn on the printer. Now HP doesn't even want you to own your own printer. Far cry from the HP of 30 years ago.

The cartridges don't contain enough ink to print more than 10 8X10 color photographs. I find this to be disgusting considering what they cost. HP you should be ashamed. Just look at your competition. Using the Epson I am able to print over 20 8X10 color photographs and still have lots of ink left for other printing.

Poor HP product - color ink cartridges
The color cartridges mailed to me by HP did not work in my HP printer / scanner. Apparently, they were not made to work in the U.S. and Canada. After extensive time spent trying to find out what was wrong with my printer / scanner, I returned the cartridges to HP, for a refund. I then went to a local store, an Office Depot, and purchased another 3-pack color set. Two of those did no work either and I had to return that purchase to the store. With my 3rd purchase, I finally got 3 color cartridges that were correct for my printer / scanner. This is pretty abysmal HP performance and was a great inconvenience for me.

If you have an HP printer, you use HP ink. Been doing so for decades. Great results and when I order from them online, they include a bag to send the empty cartridges back in, free of charge. We need to recycle them, please, and this makes it so easy.

Do not like how on every cartridge (all colors) you have to cut the orange tabs down after you take off the orange cover. Sometimes they will work fine when you do that just very time consuming. Other times you just can't get them to work at all because of the left over orange spots on the cartridges. The business I work for has had to throw away or send many full unused ones back to be recycled because of this problem. We just got a new printer by HP, but haven't had to buy any new cartridges yet. Hopefully we will not have the same problem with the new cartridges.

Not thrilled with these ink cartridges. I'm sure there's some long, involved process to adjust ink input or something, but as it stands, the images I've printed have been mediocre at best. Images look faded and unclear. If I thought the printer wouldn't give me major issues, I would've have spent MUCH less to get generic cartridges.

My last purchase of ink and paper was in January. I'm still having the rime of paper and the ink is gone. They supposed to print up to 2500 pages. I did not print 500. And it's gone.

The ink was very inky. Just the way I like it. What I don't like is that HP, like other companies these days, asks for a review of every single thing--even the smallest and least important--that I buy online.

Saving money
With the high cost of everything related to technology it is always good to find something that offers you a discount. Particularly supplies and replacement items. I haven't used the new cartridges but will be implementing them into the normal "changeout" routine this week. If that goes well, which I expect it to, then I will be buying all of my cartridges and like items directly from HP. Look for updates in the near future.

Sadly almost immediately Cyan and Yellow showed a loss of ink from full. It might be about 5 and 3 percent respectively. Magenta continues to show full from installation. Why would that be and should I get replacements?

Why did you change the ink so it needs a region? It made it so this ink doesn't work for me. I get you don't want people reselling ink or whatever it is they're doing to make you less money, but this is making it so my next printer will not be an HP printer.

Magenta was a bummer.
I placed an order on December 8, 2018 order# HC326729945. I put the yellow in, it worked fine. About 2 weeks ago I replaced the Magenta with your cartridge. It did not work at all and therefore I could not use my printer at all because it kept telling me to replace the cartridge. I had to go to WalMart to get a replacement cartridge. I would like to send it back for credit but since it was in the package I am not quite sure how to do that. It was made in Malaysia with warranty ending 2019/11. The other two cartridges were made in China. The Cyan (blue) has not needed to be replaced yet. Actually, I have experienced cartridges from Malaysia that have not worked in my printer before using this particular one. I need information to return this faulty cartridge other than the recycle envelope, thank you.

I have used HP inks for the various HP printers and find they create a clear and crisp copy. For the first time I installed the cyan color and had it run out very quickly. I put in the other colors at the same time and are still using them but was definitely caught short in the middle of an important project when this one color ran out so quickly. I wonder if it was dried out to begin with. I hope this was just a one time situation.

Genuine HP Cartridges
HP is the printer and ink source of my choice. I have used other sources for replacement cartridges; although cheaper (up front), in the long run they do not last as long and are of poorer quality making them more expensive. I totally recommend using only original HP cartridges.

High cost- don't last long- can buy entire copier
I don't make copies every day- yet the inks disappear- must not be the inks are evaporating- I can feed a family of four for a week on the amount spent to buy all the inks needed to make BLACK ONLY copies. I like my printer, but will probably look for a different brand when a new one is needed. Can buy entire hp copier for less than inks.

I installed each cartridge at one time and Paid $70. The Cyan went out of ink on the first day. In three days the ink was used up. I printed slightly over 400 copies. It surprised me because I got more than this from the XL cartridges, which used up in three months These were the smaller version. I was not too pleased. That is a lot of money for the number of copies. 17 cents each (with just a line in color) is a lot to me. I AM on social security. and am a shut in. I have not worked since 1998. And I use my talents writing... and have four books in the process now. SO I NEED TO PRINT, but not like this.
I recommend this product in the XL size only.

I received my order timely and the order process was smooth. However, when I installed the ink, one of the cartridges (Cyan) was only about 75% full. I called and the only thing HP would do was make me order and pay for another one, receive it and then start a return to send the bad one back and get my money back. What a hassle!!!!! I have not even had a chance to to get the return done yet.

The three pack HP ink cartridges are great. Can't find them cheaper than on the HP website. However, they do seem quite pricey. Seems to me to the best time to buy ink is around Christmas/end of year. HP usually has a bunch of sales then. Next Christmas, I'm going to make all my ink purchases for the year.

I installed this new cartridge set a few weeks ago. My 6-year-old HP Officejet Pro 8600 took off like a champion, not showing its age and frequent usage. My husband's printer showed it was out of ink, so I ordered a large size in black. Still, the printer would not work and showed it was still out of ink. Although we almost never print in color, I ordered the three color cartridges (is there somewhere I could have learned which colors, specifically, were empty?), and, at considerable expense, now have the printer up and running.

LOVE the genuine HP ink. It does NOT leak or have a bad chemical smell like the refillable cartridges do (non HP). I have asthma and this ink does not make me wheeze like other brands. Great price and colors are used about the same time so one won't expire before others. I print many photos and the colors are superb.

I am an Hp person and have always had good results with the products. The only reason I did not give Excellent is that I cannot find an XL pack for the Color Cartridges on the HP site. Buying separate is ok if you use one color printing. But my experience has been they all run out around the same time and the savings always helps.

I also purchase the larger single ink cartridges at times for use with my business and church needs but don't want the ink to get dry and not be as useful as it needs to be for my photos. My printer used to run when one of the inks ran out; that has been changed to becoming inoperable even if I don't need color to print what I need. My next day delivery came 6 days later left by the road in 10 degree temps in the snow. My calls to India were to very poor English speaking people who we could not communicate. My attempts to chat were so complicated to get started I gave up trying. The machine was great, the ink great, previous service great but now I would love to find another brand.

I always use genuine HP Ink. Aftermarket ink cartridges are unreliable and never full.
The instant ink program will not work for me because I print over 300 pages a month and after that number, you charge by the sheet.

HOnis the most difficult to set up, the most buggy, and has the lowest print quality in the entire industry. They have the most expensive ink and they have chips in their ink refills that prevent you from trying to use a 3rd party ink supplier. Never buy HP products. They’re garbage and the competition is a better value. Buy a Brother printer instead.

HP 951 was good. Problem is - it shipped in brown kraft paper envelope, offering no protection for the product. So, the HP packaging was crushed. It was a gift; I didn't like giving it in a crushed box.

Long Lasting Ink
I only the HP brand of inks because whenever you try to use an off brand it doesn't work as well. With this ink I never have issues printing and the ink lasts a lot longer with a genuine HP cartridge than it does buying off brands. I only reccommend the HP brand to my colleagues.

I've used these in my HP Officejet Pro 8620 for six years now. In the past I purchased them on Amazon but now stick with direct from HP. No cost difference and no chance of counterfeits.
By the way...the HP Officejet Pro 8620 has turned to be the best printer for home over the past 35 years.

Small print deceiving.
I purchased HP Ink # 951 for my printer. The product was purchased from Sam’s Club, In Mexico. After trying to install it in my printer and getting a error every time, the only issue I find is the “SMALL PRINT ON THE BOX” says z10 For use only in US and Canada.
Why would HP make 2 different cartridges for the same machine. Sam’s will not take it back because it was opened. I am out 68.00.
I AM NOT HAPPY WITH HP..

Obviously, the only time you notice your printer ink is when something goes wrong. Otherwise you take it for granted. I can not recall any problems at all with the 951 ink, and it makes it even better that I have no problems getting access to a new set of cartridges. I do not use enough ink to use the HP service that sends it automatically, so i have to initiate it, but it is mighty easy nonetheless.

Color quality is good
I had to buy the color cartridges to be able to print, even though I only print black and white. Apparently the machine still pulls ink from the color cartridges to print b/w and won't function if the ink is depleted in any of them. Good revenue for HP but unfair for the customer.

Genuine hp cartridges with "fresh" dates!
I learned long ago that inkjet cartridges are not just boxes with ink in them! Your printer will tell you (if you ask) the date the cart was installed, how much ink remains, the "expiration date" of the cartridge, etc.
Expiration date? Yes, Martha; they DO expire. I recall watching an exchange on a hp forum where the user said, "I just put the cartridge in two weeks ago." The hp tech replied, "The cartridge is probably expired; replace it." The verbal exchange went back and forth until finally the user put a new cart in and the printer went happily to work!
I once purchased a set of color carts for an hp printer and noticed they were expired alreay well before I had ordered them. I did not accept them because I remembered the forum discussion.
I have been ordering ALL my ink directly from hp ever since that day because I KNOW I will get fresh product. AND they provide a recycle envelope with pre-paid postage so I don't have to put my "empties" in my household garbage.
Fair and competitive prices, free and fast shipping, free recycling envelope. All good!

A reliable and longlasting source of ink
As a writer, I have always preferred to edit on paper. Thanks to HP inks, I am able to print out countless drafts of an article before submitting it for publication, and to do so without fear of ever running out. The cartridges seem to last forever, and the printer itself--an HP 8610--gives me ample warning of when supplies are low. As a result, I always have back-ups on hand. The cartridges are easy to install, and thoroughly reliable.

I replaced the toner in my printer with an identical Brother toner but could never get my computer and printer to cease telling me I had a low toner. Recommended that I purchase a backup—hmmm? Finally after trying for 2 or 3 days had to turn off the toner signal. It is a brand new Brother toner—apparently.

Purchased these ink cartridges and the 950XL black cartridge directly from HP store. Recieved all z10 type cartfridges. Inserted them into my printer (Officejet 8600 Pro all in one) and got the message "Incompatible ink cartridges". I'm dead in the water, printer will not print and I'm not happy.

A bit disappointed in the shipping department. Ink came in a slightly padded envelope. Boxes of ink not pristine; bent here and there. Came USPS. Temperature is also high. I hope that the ink is not dried out. In addition, paper out-of-stock on line. How can that be? Cannot even reach anyone by phone these days about paper.

I placed this order on July 13th and I kept checking the tracking for delivery but nothing was recorded for over 5 days. The package finally arrived on July 24th. I think that amount of time wasn't acceptable. To many days from initial ordering.

Too expensive. HP printer will not function if one of the three cascetts is low. Free shipping is a plus but selling a “regular “ size and a fuller size is disingenuous. ALL 3 colors should be filled to the max. Would you buy a tire only half filled with air? Far too much profit when selling mandatory ink.

I damaged the charger cable for my laptop. The battery of course was dying fast. The HP representative immediately identified the correct part and guided me through the order process. I opted for fastest shipping (estimated 1 to 3 days). Fortunately for me both HP shipping and Fed Ex were on the ball and I had the new charger in less than 24 hours! I thought I could save money by using ink from an online source other than "HP". Biggest mistake of my life. The online substitute was so inferior. It caused printed items to appear spotty, faded and when it was time to change a cartridge, the ink leaked like a sieve. I've come back to "HP", never to venture off again.

For several years I've purchased HP ink each time my OfficeJet Pro HP printer, with one exception. Recently I knowingly bought an off-brand ink only because it was a little cheaper than authentic HP ink. That ^%&^$$#$ ink lasted about two weeks before it started going bad on color graphics, followed shortly by faint and blurred black text. What a gyp ! I purchased ink cartridges for my 8600 printer pro all in one .HP ink is the only way to go, clear printing, great colors, and no ink bolts or smears like the generic ink cartridges or the ones you have refilled. I tried purchasing refurbished ones and what a waste of money, plus they may have ruined my printer. My prints started coming out with blobs of ink on the paper. Then my printer started acting up. You know I took them all out and threw them away and purchased HP original ink cartridges. I always get fantastic peinring when using them.

Before I bought this printer I used to use off brand, refilled inks. They seemed cheaper but they weren’t. They gummed up my printer and didn’t last long. For this printer, I am a loyal HP ink fan. Priced right. Lasts long. Printer never clogs. And with free shipping for any number of cartridges, I don’t have to stockpile cartridges and watch them dry up, as I am not a volume user. I feel that, all things considered, HP inks are the best value for my printer.

My replacement cartridges were ordered from Hp and arrived quickly. It was an easy and great process. I will order additional cartridges online via HP again.

It works good and HP's price was very competitive.
To purchase such an item locally in Honolulu would take about 90 minutes of fighting traffic, finding a parking space, looking for the item, and standing in line at the cash register. I bought the item from HP Online in less than 5 minutes during the evening hours. And lo and behold, "faster than a speeding bullet" ,it was at my door steps the following evening.

I have used HP Products for over 40 years. I have owned: Desk Top Computers. Laptops,
Printers and all of the accessories that came with them. I would say that the primary reasons I go back to them is that the product, service, price, support, has been consistently superior to the competition. Why go anywhere else for computer products!

950 Black Cartridge not recognized as authentic
I have had my HP Office Jet Pro 8100 for several years and have really liked it. About two weeks ago I bought from the HP store four replacement cartridges (one for each color). The black one was not recognized as authentic. I went through their troubleshooting and bought a new HP Office Jet printer. When I tried to return the cartridges (the color box was not opened) I could not find how to get a return material authorization -- or even a message that they cannot be returned. Customer Service just dropped in my opinion.

I have had the same HP printer for YEARS... Not one clog or head issue. Just put in the cartridges and it works. Wound I use it for archival art photos or prints? If course not. But my wife is a professional illustrator and uses it for her work all the time.

No substitutes work for me
I tried the less expensive off-brand cartridges, but my colors were garbled, the wrong shades, and too dark. Had to go back to HP cartridges to get the quality I need. HP makes ordering very easy, which is a big plus. But we're all under the sway of Amazon now and expect to get our orders sooner. I would have preferred free or very low cost overnight shipping.

I have an Officejet Pro 8600. It's probably the best printer I've ever had!!! It's so good that I bought another at an Estate Sale just in case it hits the end of life. The cartridges are easy to replace and work great. I'm a retired EE and ISO/Quality guy so I've logged in many hours on PC's with various printers. My company also bought several HP printers/scanners so that kind of says it all. Very good products!!!

Prompt service but not XL ink
I ordered the color ink as XL and thought the price was competitive. The Web Page froze before I could complete the transaction and needed to call Customer Service. They handled the transaction efficiently but when the products arrived they were not the XL cartridges-- only the black ink was XL but they charged the same price as stated on the web site for XL. Probably just human error related to the manual assistance. As I understand it the XL ink would be expected to last longer.

Wrong cartridge suggested - No return response
When we needed new ink, I went to the printer app on our computer and it suggested that we get 951 ink, when really our printer takes 952 ink.
When the ink arrived and I realized it didn't fit, I immediately emailed the HP Ink email to start the return process and get a refund, and I never got a response.

i thought my printer was bad
my printer started acting up even though there was ink in the non-HP brand cartridges i had in it. it gave me an error saying something was wrong with the ink system. many suggestions online was to buy a new print head whose price ranges from $80.00 to over $200.00. HP does not sell the print heads anymore, so I did not want to take a chance in buying one, and it happens to be not the problem. so i decided to try buying a HP branded ink. as soon as i installed the ink cartridges, the printer became a brand new printer again. it works flawlessly now.

I have been unable to ascertain the situation with my auto-replenish (?) thing. Too much information but nothing succeeds. Do I have an instant ink plan ( ref order # H331535819, code C3ZA-RK33-WYSH-HYXZ Pro 9010) ?? Code would not work - many attempts !! I have received no ink, you got the money !! Too many 'if you have this feature/model questions', with no end in sight when I pursue on line !! Now to prevent the printer from going "off Line !!??.

The amount of ink and how long it lasts for home use it is to expensive. The coupons offered are not available for a long enough period for home use patrons. I have been a customer of over 10 years and I seldom get to use any discounts given for frequent or long term customers.

HP printer wouldn't let me print because one color cartridge was low.
Hardly ever print anything in color but cyan was low to empty the printer said. It also said black cartridge was about 1/4 full , still it wouldn't print.
Ordered new black and new color cartridges . Boy are they expensive !

I try to keep at lest one extra cartridge at my desk for my printer. I had some trouble with placing the order several times on one day. I went back to the HP website the next day and was able to order the cartridge with no difficulty. I was expecting it to arrive a couple of days earlier, but made it through without me running out. It took several days to arrive tho. Cartridge worked well and easy to install.

My hp8600 dosen't recognize the new 951 cartridges
The hp 8600 keeps saying 2 of the ink cartridges are damaged, which is the reason I ordered a new set of color cartridges. I tried disconnecting the power chord several times in hopes that it would reset (even overnight) to no avail.

The ink was purchased for use in an HP OfficeJet Pro all in one. Color and Black printed material using HP Paper produces a clear and concise copy of each printed page. Thus far, the ink has not run or spotted on all copies made. And I have been using HP Printers, ink and paper for more than 4 (four) years.

I bought HP 951 3-pack Cyan/Magenta/Yellow Original Ink Cartridges directly from HP because I believed that it was the best deal to order my ink from HP directly. However, only two days latter I discovered that the price I paid was higher then in the market place. Moreover, I saw that if I had bought the same ink from Costco or from an other market place I could have saved $15 and get the same ink with free shipping. I felt disappoint believing that HP will give me the best price for its original ink cartridges. In addition, I could have gotten an extra $5 for recycling the old ink cartridges, which HP did not offered me this option. Next time I'll know better where to order my ink.

I was very happy when we were out of ink that HP popped up with an AD on how we could order ink. Before the health crisis we shoped in stores for HP Ink. We always use only HP Ink for our copier. From now on we will only order directly from HP. Also please note that when ever we have had to replace out copier it has always been with an HP.

Purchasing ink when the printer reminds you is a great service. The automatic upload of required inks makes it easy and convenient to order. Arrival is quick. Return envelope for used cartridges is included. Only complaint is, and it does not matter where you buy your replacement cartridges, the cartridges are over priced. It does not matter what kind of printer, all replacement ink cartridges are over priced. So ordering them directly from HP is as good a way as any to get your replacements.

I purchased a complete set of new HP cartridges from the HP shop on-line site which was supplied with my HP 7740 printer. The arrival came in a timely manner but they would not work in the printer. I researched and identified that they were the incorrect cartridges, even though they looked nearly identical. I purchased remanufactured cartridges and they work perfectly.

Regionalizaton reset problem
Very frustrated with HP. Love their printers but the customer support is terrible. I bought a printer in the US, later bought a bunch of ink to have on hand, then they decide to invalidate my ink and my machine now will accept only ink meant for Europe. Problem is, you can't get the ink intended for Europe. I have to get my printer reset for the US ink (regionalization reset). The problem is, not all the ink runs out at the same time, so as soon as I switch, some of the ink will be useless. I used the most of the ink I had, but now some of the US ink I bought when I discovered the problem has expired. I have been trying to get someone at HP to do the regionalization reset for me for more than a week. I get a message back saying they will contact me in a day, but no contact. I imagine HP decided to charge a different price for ink in the US vs Europe, and were willing to create a lot of cost and inconvenience to customers to do it.

I ordered this on May 3, 2020, and it took a long time to receive it. When it finally arrived, I needed to replace the Magenta and Cyan. The cartridges were either empty, dry, or defective. I did not dare to try the yellow, since I have already bough an extra one from Office Depot. I also do not dare to try the black one, since my previous cartridge is still working. I tried to contact HP both on line and by phone, waiting for over an hour, and no one responded. Eventually, the phone was disconnected. I decided to buy my cartridge from HP, directly, thinking that I will do them a favor. What a waist of time! They do not seem to want to favor their clients. Totally disappointing with HP.

I've had the machine about a month. It's frozen a few times; the screen has disappeared several times into the right side, never to reappear; about eight times the machine has abruptly shut down, promising to restart after the problem was dealt with. It's never happened. The page up-page down does not work- I'm sure it did earlier. An annoying little menu appears frequently, for no reason. When I move the cursor, it will often open whatever it passes over, my adjustments notwithstanding. Always something, so it seems. I've dragged my feet on this return, because it's the third Pavilion 15-cs3065cl I've had- and the other two have been returned also, but for different reasons. I can hardly believe it.

faulty cartridges
I bought through the HP site ink cartridges for my printer, I keep getting the error message that cartridges are faulty, I have tried contacting HP through their site but cannot reach them, the virtual chat was no help at all. I have run all the test required in the help section but still get the same error message. I hope this issue will be resolved soon. I would not at this time recommend this product, I will probably change my mind when this is fixed.

I bought a 951 replacement pack (z10) with 2 sets of cyan magenta and yellow. Neither yellow cartridge work, and it appears one of the cartridges ruined the ink head. I can't figure out how to call HP to get help. Customer service, please email me to help fix this.

At first my printer would not recognize the ink. I removed it then shake it , then I tried again and it worked, but the printing ink was not as bright as my genetic brand. For the price I was disappointed, but I need my printer to work. The only reason I bought this is because my printer was not working right and it suggested it may be the ink, so I purchased HP product.

I have used HP computers and printers since 2004 (my first purchase of a new computer). I recently upgraded my computer two years ago. I also have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer. I have purchased my ink from HP direct many times for this printer and have found HP's service quick, shipped well and accurate. Their price is better than office product stores. I have been a fan of HP for 20 years! I have a lot of their products. I have an HP pc so of course, I bought the HP Officejet Pro 8600. One time, I bought a generic brand of ink, and I was SORRY I did!! The ink cartridges leaked! So I didn’t save any money!! As a matter of fact, I lost money! I wasted paper, because I had to throw out the pages that the ink leaked on. The ink didn’t last at all!!
Hp ink has never done that to me! I buy the Hp Black XL ink, but I don’t need to buy the XL color ink! It lasts a long time! The HP 951
3-pack ink’s colors are clear and crisp! I have printed pretty Birthday and other cards. I am a Happy HP Printing Camper!!

I’ve never had a problem with the printer or the HP ink cartridges and it produces good quality prints, however I find the cartridges very expensive to replace on a regular basis. When it comes time to buy a new printer, I will definitely check out the price of the manufacturer’s ink supplies.

Product is fine but the wrong cartridge was sent. I should have received the 952 and I didn't notice that the app was displaying the wrong printer and also was not referencing the correct cartridge in my printer. It said I was using non-HP cartridges which is NOT true.

I have seriously relied on HP... The reason for having a printer is to do what it is supposed to do when you need that service!! I have tried 5 times a day since my return from Hospital..I used to pass out my joyous opinion of this HP printer.... Now?? I feel like throwing it against the wall and "gambling" on another Manufacturer. When I mention RELIABILITY it means exactly that. an issue arises when I have to print,scan etc. SOMETHING.. Better Product
Foolishly I bought cheaper cartridges from a firm which refills and sells the product at a much cheaper price. While they worked OK for a while I started getting poor quality prints and had to clean the heads very frequently. Never had this problem before when I used the HP ink cartridges. Live and learn, I'm back to using the more reliable product.

True to color and reliable
HP ink works really well and is always ready to print clearly. I tried an off-brand set of color ink once, and I had to clean the print head each time I printed in color. It was as if the off-brand colors would bleed into each other and print terribly.

Great Product but Very Costly
The ink cartridges work great, and for that I would give them five stars. But there are a couple issues that reduced my rating. 1) They are WAY overpriced. 2) If I use other brands of cartridges that are made for this printer they don't work due to the printer being set up to not accept anything but HP cartridges. I feel these are not mutually exclusive, and that HP is doing this on purpose so they can charge a lot more for the cartridges. And that just ain't cool man.

Do not work
I received the expensive color cartridges and they will not go into my printer… I am still trying as I need to print and these are the correct size according to the list.. I have a HP Office Jet Pro 7740.
