Not satisfied.
Not impressed. Always liked the quality of Canon printers but this one seems marginal. The door with the touch screen stays open basically all the time making it inconvenient to use. The paper trays need lots of attention. Every time you add paper you have to confirm what's in the tray. It's not easy to select the destination paper tray and un-predictable what tray the printer will choose. I might end up returning this printer.

Same features as TS9521C
I originally wanted the TS9521C as it can handle 12x12 and 11x17 paper, but it wasn’t in stock so I got the TS9520 instead. Turns out the features are exactly the same, just marketed to different groups. I haven’t done much yet, but so far the only issue I have relates to the inability to override print quality depending on paper type. I like to print samples in Draft mode first to get an idea of the output. The idea is to save ink. However, no matter what I did, I couldn’t update the settings. Paper sized 12x12 (even plain paper could only be printed using High/Best quality. Same with cardstock as the paper type. Rather than prevent me from printing, it should ask if this is what I really want to do and still print according to the settings I specify.

First one didn't print; Second one won't print wirelessly
First one arrived in great condition and took about an hour to fully set up. Then the test print page wouldn't print... was on the phone with support for 30 minutes until they decided it was a manufacturing defect. Second printer arrived quickly and this one worked... for a few weeks. Now the wireless function doesn't work (yes, I've rebooted, reinstalled, etc. and all print jobs error off. No point having a printer if IT CAN'T PRINT. Plus the plastic is pretty flimsy and you have to 'approve' the paper size every single time you open the paper drawer. Annoying. Don't buy this model.

Don't count on using it over Wi-Fi
Tried to use this as an all-in-one printer at home. The printing quality may be good, but trying to use it over Wi-Fi from a Mac (with AirPrint is always a stress. You never know if it's going to find the printer or work at all. Printing works maybe 50% of the time. Scanning works maybe 1% of the time.
I eventually gave up and now there's a long ugly USB cable going through my office.

Printer review
We purchased this printer to replace your MX880. I couldn’t find a new 880 and no self service customer assistance. Wish I had my 880 back. Operational buttons inconvenient location and confusing. The front panel requires manual intervention to close after printing. Scanning feature to confusing to complete. Copies are great but getting there and back not so easy.

Replaced Epson XP960, I need to print 11”X17”
Tired of the Epsons constant printhead blocking up, it finally would not even boot in the last event. The Canon TS9520 has almost as good picture quality with no problems so far. Only 5 ink/dye cartridges instead of the 6 in the Epson, one black ink specifically for text. Much more efficient and definitely cheaper to keep in manufacturer made cartridges. (I have not had good photo prints from any 3rd party ink supplies. This unit scans well and the “All-in-one” features all function well,

Good All Round Printer
I like the features on my Canon Printer and use them all. The prints are crisp and the printer puts them out in a reasonably short time. The only hang up I have is that the printing cartridges run out of ink in what seems to be a short period of time. But then I do use the printer on a regular basis. I would recommend purchasing Canon cartridges and have found that they are less expensive than Amazon if you buy directly from Canon. I did try knock-off ink cartridges and they skipped, left lines, and simply did not look right. This is our third Canon printer and we are quite pleased with it.

I received a free sample product in exchange for a review. Overall, this is a really good printer. It is quiet and it is easy to use. Very good graphics and the clarity is top knotch. I think that the size of the printer is a bit small and replacing the ink cartridges could be a bit difficult. A nice product!

Great All-In-One Printer Option
The Canon PIXMA TS9520 is a great all in one print solution. It works great as home office printer. I think that it will replace my old printer and scanner in my home office. I love the wireless feature, this makes it so easy to set up. I also love the two sided auto print feature. This is great for do it yourself publishing or creating catalogs at home. It also has a good sized LCD screen with very intuitive menu selections. This makes it easy to set-up without a computer.
The other thing that is great about this all-in-one is the great quality picture printing. This printer has dual feed trays so you don't have to change paper in the middle of a project. Another great feature is photo quality prints in 20 seconds! That's right 20 seconds. For me it was a no brainier.
In my opinion you can't go wrong with the Canon PIXMA TS9520. It has a lot of great features packed into a pretty small package. But don't let the small size fool you, this is a full featured printer that would fit into any home or office environment very easily. You also do not have to have a computer science degree to set it up, and lets face it, we all like that. This is a review for the Canon PIXMA TS9520 that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

A Solid Unit!
I received this Canon Pixma as a free sample in return for my review.
The awesome parts:
1. The product was easy to unpack, prepare and get online. All of those activities took less than 20 minutes. The Getting Started guide was easy to follow and comprehensive.
2. I was able to connect my laptop PC (via Ethernet an Apple MacBook Pro and my iPhone (via wireless) and also add it to Google Cloud Print. No issues at all!
3. Print quality is very good. Comparable to my other MFP.
There were a few drawbacks:
1. The amount of time it took to download the add-on software. I think that was about 25 minutes. But the software is good and I was able to scan a few docs in with ease.
2. The paper tray is really small. I had a rear-loading MFP and it could hold about 3x the amount of paper.
3. The unit can't FAX. My other MFP has a FAX capability.
Overall, a solid unit. I don't know about the ink cartridge life yet. I guess we'll see as time goes on. For my evaluation I printed about 30 color sheets.

Just Stick with Canon
Last week, I had to replace a 2+ year-old Canon PIXMA MX6800 last week and decided to try something different. I purchased a Brother MFC-J775 wireless all-in-one for $199+, and after several hours--over a 4-day period--of trying to get it setup to work on our macs and iPhones, I gave up and returned it.
I brought this TS9520 home and in less than 10 minutes had it setup and ready for use across all of our devices.
Thank you, Canon, for making setup simple. I will gladly give you my money for all of my printing needs for life.

Great printer
The Canon printer is easy to use. Set-up was easy. The software I needed to install on my laptop downloaded from the website easily. It took a while to install, but there were no issues. I was able to easily install the software on my wife’s laptop as well. The mobile app installed and worked on 2 smartphones and a tablet. The print quality was excellent. I printed out a photo from vacation and it came out sharp and clear. Double sided printing was easy to use. The colors came out sharp and clear. Scanning was simple to use. One drawback is that it does not print when asleep, so I needed to turn it on which almost negates the purpose of the wireless connection. Otherwise, this is a great printer.

Many features with AirPrint too! Highly recommend!
We’ve been a HP family for a long time and we’ve been happy with them. I hadn’t considered a Canon, but after I received a free sample of this Canon TS9520 for this review, I was impressed.
Everything in our house runs on wireless so it’s great that this printer supports AirPrint, so I can have this printer in my office and everyone can print to it, even off a tablet or iPhone! It’s got an automatic document feeder, so it can do light copying while also doing 2 sided printing! The print quality is great, its fast, and it’s an easy set up. In the past we’ve had HP printers but we spend way too much on ink. I like that this printer has 5 individual ink cartridges which means that we only need replace the ink that runs out versus replacing one big cartridge. The print quality is great, its fast, and it’s an easy set up.
Overall, I’m not sure how much volume it can take, but for my family, it's a great printer to have in my home as a second printer or a nice backup! I’d highly recommend this Canon TS9520!

Great printer
We had an older printer that neither my wife or myself had used in about a year before using the PIXMA TS9520. We were drawn to this model due to its multiple features from everyday use of printing normal documents for work or home life, as well as the opportunity to use some of the DIY features. The printer itself was very easy to install and it doesn't take up too much space on our desk in our den. Since it had been a few years since I installed a printer, I was satisfied with the directions and process for getting our printer up and running. Immediately I noticed how seamless it was to print documents at a high quality, and it is almost like having an industrial quality printer in my home. My favorite feature is how you can print documents directly from your iPhone such as boarding passes! The ability to print over Wifi is so convenient and simple. My wife's favorite feature is the ability to do more than print plain documents but put together high quality documents like posters or schedules. This printer definitely meets all of our expectations and I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in the basics or for anyone printing a wide range of items.

Not well constructed, many issues, poor support
I am now trying out the second one. The first one had a tendency to skew pages pulled through the ADF and sometimes you have to push down on the paper where it goes into the feeding slot or it won't go in It does this on the second one also at times but so far the second one hasn't skewed the pages. It appears that the type of paper may have been a factor in the skewing problem but I was using high quality 24 lb paper.
Printed text is reasonably sharp and web page prints look excellent. I haven't tried printing a photo on photo paper yet but when a photo taken by a camera was printed, it was kind of washed out when printed on regular paper which I understand is normal.
When connected to a Windows 10 computer, with the ECO setting on that allows the your computer to wake up the MFD, I keep getting USB disconnect sounds at intervals and it appears at exactly then, is when the keyboard character input is affected which causes incorrect keyboard operation. This is not very nice when you're typing. Support wasn't very helpful concerning this issue, in fact one person didn't really seem to believe it could happen so I asked to speak to a Supervisor or Manager but that didn't really do much good except I was eventually transferred to another Support person. Both MFD's exhibit the USB issue.
There is a slightly slanted horizontal line at the bottom of scanned pages using the ADF. Tech Support had me reinstall the drivers but that didn't resolve the problem.
The default Previews are very tiny, only around 1 1/4 inches square and clicking on them does not enlarge them. I tried changing a setting to automatically open Adobe Acrobat/Reader to Preview as a result of what a Support person told me but it didn't work. Another Support person resolved the problem, as I recall.
On the ScanGear window, the Preview button is missing, which was verified by Support.
In order to print, the Control Panel has to be tilted out at approximately a 45 degree angle which I don't think is very nice.
It goes through ink rather quickly with the small capacity cartridges that come with the MFD but larger capacity ones are available at a nearby Walmart.
So far, I believe I have spent at least approximately 8 1/2 hours on the phone trying to resolve issues with the MFD. Some Techs were not to good to deal with and wasted my time. I last spoke to an upper level Tech and he said they would send me another one and check it out first. Now, I'm told I need to set up a call back from an engineer.

I Love This All-In-One!!!
Overall I am in love with this All-In-One, it's definitely more than what I had before! Putting the equipment together was very easy, and so was the wireless setup. I gave it only 4 stars though b/c the paper tray loading and setup was just a little bit confusing to me, at one point when I was attempting to print it kept giving me an error and telling me that some tray was down, and it took me awhile to figure out it was a small tray at the bottom that was open and supposed to be closed. This machine prints beautifully though, I can't wait to try it out on printing photos. I was shocked at how good this printer is, I mean this is really an office quality printer! So if you have a small home office, this is definitely worth every penny. Did I mention that I love the fact that I can even print things from my cell phone! OMG, I love that feature!

Great print quality with easy set up!
Canon PIXMA TS9520.
I received the Canon PIXMA TS9520 in exchange for an honest review and it could not have come at a better time as I needed to print some documents for something I was working on. This ALL-IN-ONE printer was easy to set up. The instructions were clear and concise. It came with a set up cd that I was unable to utilize because my primary laptop (MacBook air) does not take cds. Of all of the features of the printer my favorites are the WiFi enabled printing capability where you do not have to connect your device with a cord to the printer, the ability to print directly from your mobile device , and the auto double sided printing feature. The printer’s screen is touchscreen. The print quality is excellent. The printer prints pics very clear and sharp. I was able to print pictures for a gift book and my son printed pictures for a project straight from his iPhone. The printer is a decent size. It is not too large and the all black design is very sleek. It’s perfect for home use or a home office. Overall, this printer is perfect for my family.

Excellent features & easy to use!
This printer is easier to work with than I thought it would be, considering how advanced it appears. I love that I can just download the app for it, especially since my laptop isn't capable of using the disc provided (no drive on it. The app itself is very easy and quick to figure out and use, though there seems to be a slight disconnect between the app and the printer in terms of document/image size. I put it the information of how big the paper will be, but the image/document was cut off, so there was no fit to scale happening. I'll grant that it might be my fault somehow, but it was still disappointing to lose some margins along the way.
On a positive note, I love the touch screen on the printer that makes it easy to use, and that the Wi-Fi was so simple to set up. I like the separate intake tray for photo paper so you know photos are literally a separate printing job. The setting up of my tablet to the printer was extra easy, so I didn't need as much time as I thought I would need which is always nice. There is also a nice feature where you can make the printer turn itself on automatically when you send it a job and turn itself off after a short time.
Overall I would recommend this printer, with so many features to explore and the ability to connect to several online services including social media and cloud services. I received this free to try out, but I assure you these are all my honest opinions.

Great features
Overall I loved this printer.
Pros:
* I loved the way the main screen tilted for ease in viewing. A++ on that feature.
* the option to print 1 or 2 sides was awesome. My last printer you had to print one side, then flip the paper and print again. I always ended up printing the 2nd side upside down. This was definitely my 2nd favorite feature after the tilted screen.
* the printing was always nice and crisp. No smudged edges.
* the initial setup was fairly easy. I was rushing when I first tried setting up the wifi and got frustrated (my fault, not the printers). When I was able to come back to it and try setting it up again after my first failed attempt, I realized it was very easy and it was my fault on the first go-round.
* I loved how when scanning you were given the option to scan from either the cloud, email, etc. printers have come a long way since I purchased my last one.
Cons:
* I only have one complaint about this printer. Why aren't the paper drawers labeled with either a letter or number? Then the instructions could say put paper in drawer A. The only drawer that I understood was the rear one. Also, why are there so many drawers where paper is pulled from? Very confusing for this user and a definite "con" for this printer.

Life savor
I received this printer as a free sample in exchange for my review. I complete had forgotten about the survey I took to qualify for this item to review when suddenly it arrived at my front door. I opened it right away. I was pretty excited to use it as I had been needing to print some things out for my baby shower and it couldn't of come at a better time. All I really needed was a printer, paper and ink. But this was so much more. The quality of my print was more than I had expected. It was clean. Sort after doing the test page I printed my stuff and it was so easy to do. I love the touch screen part of it and the blue tooth option that I could send my projects right from my phone. I also ended up printing some of my ultra sound pics right of off my memory card and was so pleased with easy the original set up was. My boyfriend helped me set everything up and we did it together in no time. I would defeninetally recommend this product for all your at home projects. It saved me so much time and money I couldn't be more happier.

TS9520 Software Problems
Printer was fine, although the ink is expensive compared to past Canon printers. Seems quality is degrading as well. Printer corrupts any file printed as text. If I print as a picture it looks perfect. That's coming from different programs (Word, Excel, InDesign. Seems a firmware problem, though it's current.

Dissapointed
The printer worked great for the past 14 months. I have direct printed maybe 150 DVDs without problem along with a LOT of photo and document work. Last week a sheet of card stock got stuck and when I removed it something happened to the paper feeder. Sheets do not feed properly. Canon support was not able help. It was out of warranty so there's no replacement.

Slow printing, high ink usage
Slow printing, especially on two-sided printing. Good print quality. Noisy. Uses ink rapidly, shows refilled cartridges as empty so can not determine when they are actually out of ink. Forced to purchase new rather than refill. Expensive and better to re-use compared to being wasteful. Doesn't seem to have the quality as previous Canon printers.

Don't buy this printer
We've had this printer for a couple years now. We use it sparingly, but when we do it is usually critical. Every time we use it there is an issue. Either the printer is not connecting to the WIFI, the paper is not feeding, page is missing half of the printed text and often does not start to print until the half the page is fed. Always an issue. Extremely time consuming and thus frustrating.

New Canon Replaces Old Canon
The new PIXMA TS9520 was a replacement for our PIXMA TS990 model that had ended its useful life. I chose it because it will print 11x17-inch photos in the brilliant colors that I'm used to with Canon. It was easy to install by following the startup guide, and I chose the USB connection rather than the wireless feature. Some reviews complained about having to open the control panel when initiating print jobs, but this is only a minor inconvenience since the control panel and paper output tray contracts into a flat attractive face when the printer will not be used for a while. Color photo print quality is excellent, and if this is what you're looking for in an all-in-one printer then you should choose this model, since it is good quality for the money.

It's a great printer but I think the front door should go up and down on its own and not be done manually. I also think you shouldn't have to go "turn on" the printer when it hasn't been used in awhile. Other than those two things, it's great!

No way will I get a Canon again.
Had 1 previous Canon before and I thought ease of use was inferior to HP and Epson, but this model was new and I was advised it was superior to the HP and Epson by Best Buy. Loaded up to both our PCs and all ok for a 3 mths or so. Then my computer's link to the printer (no apparent reason was lost and I could never re-establish the link again with multiple attempts. My wife's link was fine. Its useability - for things like the control flap if it is a few degrees too much and it does not work is irritating. Overall this experience has turned me off Canon to point of loathing. Never again

Great Feature, poor printer response
I bought this printer because I was soooo very happy with my previous MG series Canon printer. I researched and was determined to buy a Canon. While the features of this TS9521C printer seem to meet most of my desires, the response time for the print time is terrible. I might get a recipe (with no photos even, just words after waiting as much as 10 minutes. Sometimes I find that I have to delete and restart printing just to get a response from the printer. Right now, I'm waiting, waiting as the printer tells me it is printing the data. What is going on? How can Canon let me down like this? I just want a printer for photos, recipes, and was looking forward to using the scrapbooking features. I'm so disappointed. Please advise what to do. I purchased the warranty. Now I need help. I want my MG series back but it is too old and is no longer supported by Apple (my choice of devices) or Canon.

Consumes a lot of Ink
I bought this printer a few month ago. It's easy to use and prints nicely. BUT the ink cartridges are expensive and need to be replaced often. Most of what I print is B/W but the color cartridges frequently need replacement. I can't afford to use this printer. I finally bought a little B/W laser printer for most of my printing. Previously I had a Brother printer and the cartridges cost about the same but lasted much longer.

Good machine, but not quite perfect
Plus: I stick with Canon printers and inks due to good results. This machine scans and prints quickly and well. It's my first home printer to print on 11" x 17" paper (I do CAD and 12" x 12" (my wife does scrapbooks). Wireless connection works well once I figured out how set it up. Hopefully the machine stays supported and outlasts my ink inventory, as my last two Canon printers didn't.
Minus: The machine feels flimsy, especially rear feed and discharge trays. I've already had trouble storing rear feed. Very limited flatbed scanner book thickness. Autostart hasn't worked so far. No instructions for wireless LAN connection via router. I wish oddball paper sizes like 4" x 8" could be used. I also wish the flatbed scanner were 4800 x 2400 like many others.

Three feedback
I like all the options with paper sizes and the quality of color printing is good. A few things I don't like is: 1. It doesn't stay on all day, after a while it will shut down and I have to physically get up to turn it back on -what a hassle, unless there is a way to do it from my computer and just haven't figured it out. Please let me know if there is. 2. Its very slow for printing. I had a Kodak printer for over 10 years that I really liked, but just wore it out. It was much faster with printing and would stay ON and ready all day. 3. Saw this when reviewing printers for purchase, the most frequent complaint is how small the paper tray is. It holds only s small amount of paper. It also concerned me that this was a continual comment and worried me that you do not listen to customer feedback to improve your products.

Does not recognize that 12x12 photo paper exists
I got this printer a couple years ago in order to print digital scrapbook pages as 12x12. The paper does exist, but the printer drivers won't accept that such paper exists. The only way to print 12x12 is to select card stock as the paper type. Unfortunately this does not result in photo quality prints. I have confirmed through experimentation that the issue is not the paper itself but the card stock setting. The drivers refuse to allow me to print if any photo paper types are selected. I have tried email addresses and contact forms to get a detailed description of my issue and troubleshooting to Canon, but the emails bounced and the forms wouldn't submit. I keep checking back every few months to see if there are updated drivers or firmware, but the only update that has been posted has not fixed the problem. I feel like I am wasting this very expensive paper, and get frustrated cause I know my prints could be much better. I don't know what other printer is even an option for what I want. The annoying thing is the printer is fine, but the driver or firmware is the problem.

Borderless printing and amazing results
This is an amazing printer capable of beautiful color reproduction. I bought it so that I could print on a variety of substrates including 330 gsm cardstock and it has not disappointed. The scanner gets the job done, but it’s not a good substitute for a dedicated scanner. At 600 dpi there is some fuzziness. The rollers tend to be noisy on the intake of paper, this is not a quiet machine. Print speed is average to slow, but I feel that the 100% borderless printing capabilities more than compensate for this. Very few printers on the market at this price range can deliver borderless professional looking prints. My postcards look stunning every time. I really love the versatility of this machine.

DUMB!
Either this is the dumbest printer/software combiunation ever invented or trhe moon is made of cheese! I b ought this printer to print on inkjet printable discs. The Canon software is NOT at ALL user friendly. After talking with a tech guy at Canon, I downloadedan old program they no longer use in order to be able to properly make a professional looking label. First I had to make a label using another company's software, then had to save it in an image file and import it, resize it(!), and print using the Image Garden software. And the printer takes so long to print a disc that if you leave it for 5 minutes it "times out" and you have to reset it, flip covers closed, wait, reopen, insert disc tray, and print the next disc. So unhappy I will never buy another Canon product. This thing makes me want to cuss every time I use it.

Good Replacement Printer for a Small Business
I like that the fact this printer shares some of my preferred (and most-used) features from my previous Canon printer. Another bonus is it uses the same ink cartridges (since my previous quit working unexpectedly). Two inconveniences: 1) the TS9520 is physically bigger than my older PIXMA (I had to re-arrange the space to accommodate it); 2) the TS9520 can be fussy if the control panel isn't opened out a certain amount. Otherwise, I like this printer

a powerful printer with two caveats
I got the TS9520 to replace my Epson 6100. I have been using another brand of printers for years, but they use ink like crazy even in draft mode. One will pay five to six times more for the ink than they did the printer with that brand.
I did a deep study of ink use and industry specs and found Canon to be the most efficient and that is currently playing out with my TS9520. I wanted the lower model that would have been more than adequate, but it is no longer made. The TS9520 is on the large side and doesn't fit on my desk completely, but I made an extension for it.
It is at least twice as powerful as any of my former printers and is rich in features. It even cleans the rollers and such! It is very efficient with ink. I like that it has two sources for paper, the rear holder works well with thicker paper. Part of the secret is the paper path.
The only caveats with this printer is the software for printing CDs and such. It is horrible and limited. It takes about 30 minutes to line up the image to fit a CD and you still have to pray it works. It also does not allow for changing the print quality, it is stuck on High. I wish I could choose Standard at least.
The only other caveat which goes for all the printers is there is little to no support. Sadly, this is also not unique to Canon. That said, they don't repair printers these days even if one could reach anyone in support. Like with TVs, when that printer breaks yo buy a new one.
That said though, I would still choose a Canon printer over any other for now.

Canon PIXMA TS9520 January 2024
The PIXMA TS9520 seems an excellent printer/All-in-one choice with the exception of the ink supply and designed-in eventual failure of the machine because of accumulated waste ink. The ink Canon ink cartridges, PGI-280 and CLI-281B/M/Y/C are blacked-out from residual visual inspection. Also, by design the use of print-head ink-source cleaning and deep cleaning dumps ink into a user-inaccessible waste ink tank with absorptive pads. The waste tank fills over time and shuts the machine down. Only the most valiant technician would know how to disassemble the unit to its chassis for removal, cleaning, and replacement of the waste ink/pads - then re-assemble the unit back to operation. Not noted in the instruction manual is to refrain from turning the unit OFF, which initiates a print-head cleaning cycle each time. Deep cleaning maximizes the disposal of ink into the waste ink tank, initiating the shutting down even sooner. Leaving the unit ON between usages precludes unnecessary cleaning cycles; never activating a deep cleaning extends the unit's life significantly. The TS9520 has, otherwise, excellent copying/printing/scanning capabilities.

One of the best printers to operate I ever had!
I have now had this printer for several months and every time I use I am glad I purchased it! The way it operates is about as good as it gets minus a unique quirk that only applies to printing on CD/DVD discs. Let's get that one out of the way here. The only quirk about it is the one needs to detach the holder from the bottom of the paper tray and use a special area in the printer, nothing difficult, just quirky at first. Other than that it prints on discs just fine and everything. After printing 4 or five discs it is familiar.
This Canon TS9520 is a game changer! This thing is amazingly efficient on ink, either that or their starter cartridges are full rather then actually "starter" carts. I thought I would get 20 pages at best, but I'm still using the "starter carts"! However, two colors will need replacement in about 3 pages or so I think. (I already have replacements waiting in the wings).
I love the power management it uses as well and it doesn't use nearly as much ink on start up as other printers. My last printer used a ton of ink on start up. I have not had the need to use the autofeed nor scan yet, but if my main usage now is any indication, those features should be very good as well. This printer is also easy to use because it has a big screen that guides you as well.

Purchased for 11 x 17 print capability
Have had this printer for many years - having purchased it specifically for its ability to print 11 x 17 documents. Print quality has been excellent. The only problem I have had is with the scanner - but those problems are surely due to mistakes I made in switching configuration from wireless to printer cable and then back to wireless.

Bought replacement immediately without looking at others.
Have had one for about 6-7 years - to get the benefit of 11" x 17" printing capability I needed. One day I accidentally knocked the printer and broke a part. Purely my fault and not a weakness of printer. So without any hesitation ordered another. It works just like the first - on both USB cable connection as well as WIFI connection.

Best Printer Even Photos come out Great
I love this Canon Printer does so much and photos are great. Best printer by far for the money. Very Versatile great also for printing birthday or all occasion cards at a great price. Ink seems to last longer than other printers.

Perfect for Crafting and everyday use
This is a perfect printer for crafting. I purchased this printer from HSN about two years ago. Wireless printing with a mobile device was a little tricky at first. But if you follow the online manual it's rather simple. There is also a PDF version available. You are not charged by Canon to print from your mobile device as another reviewer stated. You can print from your home network for free. You simply turn on WiFi on your mobile device, and connect to the same network that you printer is connected to. Printing on 12x12 cardstock is no problem either. Load your paper in the rear tray, adjust the guides, and select your media in the printer dialogue box.

Good, but could be better.
As usual, Canon makes good hardware: it prints beautifully. Also as usual, product design and software are weak. It is designed such that you can't see the trays under the flip-up screen. The previous model I had (9520) was a bit easier, in that you didn't have to manually flip up/down the almost invisible tray to operate the CD label printer-kind of negates the remote printer option. Canon needs to hire better product and software designers to go with their great hardware.

So Frustrating - Not a portable replacement for the Pro-100
I have and use daily a Canon Pro 100. I will be traveling for the next several months and this printer was recommended as a pro-level, more portable option. I've only been testing it a week, testing and trying to print all of my products on it before I head out in a few days. I want to love it, but I hate it. I can't get the colors correct. I can't find options for paper types, ICC profiles (i.e., matte photo paper printing), and sizing is completely off. I don't get it. It might be good. Others seem to think so. But I'm frustrated and have wasted so much costly professional paper and time. I want to bawl. I have to leave. I have spent a fortune. And I have no solution to a more portable Pro-100 to take on the road with me.

Meets My Needs
The TS9520 meets all my needs, particularly the 11x17 inch printing. I have used the scanner and also had good results. Using it primarily for engineering work.

Great Printer
Love the quality and speed of the prints. The main reason that i chose this model was the ability to print labels on CD/DVDs. It's quick and easy.

Pretty good printer for the money!
Easy to set up and easy to connect to our multiple computers. However, the paper tray is far too small, and needs to be restocked constantly. Also, the printer will automatically turn off if left alone too long. This may or may not be good for you, but it was not helpful to us. Fortunately, it was pretty easy to get into the settings and turn it off (or set it to whatever time period you want. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.

Decent Printer, Paper Selections could be better
I got this printer after seeing it advertised on HSN during a craft day. As an avid hobby crafter, I wanted a good printer for printing my own die cuts as well as some pictures. It does the job pretty well however, there is a very, very limited list of paper to select from considering it can print up to 12x12. there isn't an option for Labels or Sticker paper. just a basic generic setting for cardstock. I probably won't be getting another Canon after this one eventually dies. My prints are not up to the quality they could be. Disappointed in that respect. I'm not sure if it is a Mac issue or just a Canon Pixma TS9520 issue or what. No really updates to firmware that address this issue.

Not all it should be
I have had the printer for a while now. It replaced my MX922 which is still working but wanted something newer, something with rear paper loading. But what I felt like was I got a downgrade. I would expect an upgrade but more of a downgrade. The 9520 works fine but missing a feature I did not realize. The adf is only single sided. So if you have double sided to scan you have to scan manually. So now I decided to keep the 922 for the double sided feed scan. As for build quality, the 9520 feels cheap. Their are times I feel I am going to break it. So be VERY careful. But does print much faster and a lot better. So between the 922 and the 9520, the 9520 you get the rear document feed but no duplex document feed, 922 still has fax ability (none on 9520) no rear feed.

Cannot scan to drive
I wish I had read more before buying or I would have never bought it. I was surprised that there was not a USB jack for USB drive, only an SD card slot. You cannot scan to the SD Card, you can only scan from a computer connected to the hardwire USB to computer connection.
