Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is NOT matched to advertized 800Mb/S I have the Crucial 2.5" Internal SSD for PCs, they behave fast and error free. Thought X6 is SSD and much faster to write/read for backup/restore or copy files between Window 10 PC and X6. After few tests, it shown that X6 is much slower than Portable HDD. For a new purchase, it shown ERRORs in "Driver Self Test". It appears that the product is NOT matured to the market and needs improvement. Crucial customer support suggested to return X6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not read data at USB 3.0 rate I bought this hard drive for my Xbox One, the Xbox One requires a USB 3.0 or faster connection. When plugged in the Xbox, an error says it won't work, it's too slow, drive needs to be at least USB 3.0

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ok but not yet seen anything like the speeds claimed. So far its not even come close to showing any decent spped. 10s of Gb/sec is a snails pace. But that was connected through a pc to another drive, so ill reserve judgment until the next step...copy up to a brand new pc. So don't expect the 100s Gb/sec claimed. Its probably ' up to ' some speed you'll never see.

It is clearly not as advertised. the drive will not work with Xbox One even with the molded cord configuration and multiple attempts to reconnect. the drive simply does not read as 3.0 or greater.

Impressed with the previous purchase from Crucial, I decided to go with this smaller model for ease of use while travelling and I'm glad I did. I can't sing the praises enough.
